All of the files I try to download fail immediately. Even extensions will not download on firefox. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and checked the download location. Downloads work on other browsers such as Chrome fine but nothing will download on Firefox.

i had to rebuild my laptop computer and set up firefox on it, set up/turned on sync and the browser does NOT match the broswer srttings on the desktop where the sync comes from. bookmarked weblink icons only show up when a new tab is opened and vanish once a website is opened, icons for bookmarked weblinks on the bookmarks bar are generic wireframe globe-like-icons only, the custom firefox colour setup i struggled to create over the course of several weeks does not appear at all, nor does the dark theme. how then do i get this to -really- syc???

You somehow have old, outdated information in your system. Your new browser requires me to log into a facebook account I closed 10 years ago. My password for my current account named, "VangiePangie", now opens a closed account named "Evangeline Custis". I no longer have access to my VangiePangie account with any password. So, I no longer want this new upgraded Firefox account. I want to have my old Firefox account as a default on my desktop. Right now it's an icon at the bottom of the screen, and I can only use it to open one thing at a time. Please give me back my old Firefox browser. I'll struggle with Facebook to get my password to work on my VangiePangie account. I have access to the VangiePangie account right now, because it was never logged out in my old Firefox browser and is in my Bookmarks. But if I am forced to log out, or if Facebook does a security check, I won't have access ever again. Please help me with this. Below is my VangiePangie Profile pic.

This is so very simple and so the fact that it seems impossible to get a straight answer makes me instantly suspicious. Here is the question: What is my location? Simple! In other words, I have Mozilla Firefox installed on a physical device, which HAPPENS to be a desktop computer, not a mobile phone, etc. In other words, it stays here. So why do alllllll the sites act as though I am literally 930 miles...from my actual, physical location! I have NO VPN running...none. Unfortunately, Firefox is using Google location services, WHICH IS THE PROBLEM. I just installed Firefox, instead of Chrome, to solve that problem. I guess THAT was a stupid move, Firefox is worse!

There needs to be a manner in which the USER can INPUT THEIR LOCATION. I'm not trying to "trick" anyone...I'm actually trying to give people ACCURATE INFORMATION which apparently is beyond the capabilities of the internet, to provide.

I have a dark themed website with light colored lable that is positioned inside the input field and having the autofill to autocolor the input's background yellow makes things look horrendous. I've tried the following CSS:

On top of that, I tried changing that for myself in about:config changing ui.-moz-autofill-background to false, but after clearing browser cache and doing a hard-refresh, the yellow autofill background color persists.

That would be a personal fix, but I would rather firefox not murder the theme of my site for others and let me have control of what color the autofill background color should be (if I even want there to be a difference in colors). Am I missing something? I don't simply want to turn that off for myself (although I still want to, but it didn't work). I want to change it for everyone visiting my site. (Like I'm able to change the colors of link or border colors or background colors of other elements).

my connection to the internet drops and I receive a message that says "No Internet Connection". This happens frequently at home, and at work and has been going on for months. I will generally close Firefox and reopen, then it says that Firefox is still running and do I want to close and I click yes. I still have a good signal in every case. It mostly happens when I have my email open and another site, like banking, subschool, or doing some type of research. I use chrome for some apps, but I don't like using it but they don't work in Firefox, and I never get a crash notice. I have checked for updates for WIndows 10, ZoneAlarm, Firefox, and drivers and everything is up to date. Other than that I can't find any more information or posts on this. Please help Ronald Fisk

Yesterday i uninstalled Grammarly but today i am still getting pop-ups saying Grammarly isn't activated yet, but it's been uninstalled! So how do i make the pop-ups stop? That's the whole reason i uninstalled it in the first place.

My Firefox browser (119.0 Windows 64-bit) is at "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox" and always starts with the message "Hmm. That address doesn’t look right. Please check that the URL is correct and try again." What is Firefox trying to do?

When pressing the up arrow key with text in the URL bar, the bottom suggestion is selected, rather than returning the text cursor to the beginning. It used to place the insertion point at the very beginning of whatever text was in there, and then another up arrow press would select the bottom suggestion, but now it instantly wraps to the very bottom selection. It's quite frustrating when trying to modify a search query - now you either have to hold the left arrow key, or accurately click with the mouse

For instance, say I type "cloud" in the URL box, but figure "storm cloud" would be a better search. I can't just press the up arrow to add "storm ", because pressing the up arrow once now just replaces the entire line of text with "https://soundcloud.com/", completely ruining my search. I'm pretty sure this was recently changed with an update. Is there any hope of changing it back?

The last couple of days, Firefox opens in a three-quarter screen size window. I don't want "full-screen" mode but I do want the window to take up my whole desktop when I'm using it. There are no buttons to maximise or minimise and no dragging arrows when I hover over the edges. I don't know why this is happening all of a sudden. How do I fix it please?

I subscribed to Relay and VPN on Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2023, and paid the annual fee ($82.66); however, after looking at all the features of Relay, I decided that it was too complicated for me and I cancelled the subscription the same day. I have not received a refund yet.

Previously, I had been paying for the VPN monthly, and I do want to keep that and can pay for it annually. So the annual amount for the VPN could be withheld from the amount I paid and the refund could be for Relay portion only, if that's possible. If not, I will continue to pay for the VPN monthly.

Please advise as to how long before I will see my refund.

Until recently, when I entered a search request, I only received sponsored links which covered part of the screen. However now the list of sponsored links has grown so much that I am having to scroll through several screen pages before getting to the lings to the actual websites that I am looking for.

The number of sponsored links has grown out of all proportion and means that I am waisting a lot of time scrolling through items that are of no interest to me whatsoever. As an example, I recently made an enquiry about a medical condition and an Amazon sponsored links offered me a good deal on selling me that same medical condition!!!!

How can I or Mozilla reduce the high level of sponsored links. If it cannot be done then I will need to move to another browser.

I seem to not be able to access the website for my local oil company https://fegleyoil.com/ even though I have been able to do so multiple times over the past few years. I have checked every Firefox setting but am still unable to load their site to order oil. I have successfully been able to load their site not only on my smartphone but also on my work PC. I need to know how to fix this. Please advise and many thanks in advance for any assistance. BTW, it also doesn't load on my home PC in Firefox, Edge or Chrome but again loads just fine on my phone and work PC and my home PC VPN is turned off when I try to access this site and I have it added to my Firefox exceptions to be allowed.

I was looking for tickets on site for hockey using firefox but I get Sorry, Your Session Expired to start again, please return to the previous page/tab and re-click the link (refreshing this page might not work). I go back and then go again to the site and it still comes up with that message. However, it works in Microsoft Edge without any problems. Any reason for this?

I have followed instructions, installed the new Mozilla and, when trying to use it, I get a message to search with google or enter address. Then, I am told that the "browser has crashed . . just tell it to restart" . . . repeatedly Is it not compatible with a Lenovo laptop? Gail Whitaker
