After switching to Firefox version 123, I encountered an error on our website: '1,000,000.00 is not a valid number.' It seems to be a form validation error, but it worked fine with previous versions of Firefox. The application is built using GWT (Google Web Toolkit). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

every time i clear cache and history this is what i see in words with frind not it has not always done that seems ince the nest Firefox update it does it I hav eanother problem when shut dw nte computer and restart Mozlla hangs and will not load could it be my home page I use xfinity

Two issues using latest version of Firefox with Windows 10.

These 2 issues have occurred in the last few days

First I cannot attach my files to my emails using Gmail. I'm able to do this using Edge or Chrome

Second, normally when I used to start typing the name of my correspondent it would automatically complete. This is no longer working. I'm able to do this using Edge or Chrome

Whenever I type something in the URL bar that starts with the word "amazon," instead of getting a Google search for what I typed, I get redirected to Amazon.com with whatever I typed as a product search. For example, if I type "amazon sucks" in Firefox's URL bar, instead of getting a Google search for the phrase "amazon sucks," I get an Amazon page with the word "sucks" pre-filled in Amazon's product search (and a screen full of socks).

I don't have a search keyword for "amazon" in my Firefox settings. As far as I can tell, no other magic word does the same thing. (For example, if I type "yahoo sucks" or "walmart sucks," I get the desired Google searches. I don't get redirected to a Yahoo or Walmart page.

How do I turn this behavior off?

What Happened To The PASTE Option, When You Are Composing A New Email In Outlook  ?

If You Copy Something, Then Right Click In The Message Section Of The Email, You Do Not Get The Drop Down Menu With PASTE As An Option.

You Only Get The PASTE Option When You Right Click Into The SUBJECT Line.

On chrome I have several profiles and different ones use different LastPass (and other) extension services. EVERY PROFILE maintains it's OWN login information.

Firefox, however, does NOT ISOLATE PROFILES. On ANY Firefox profile, if I log into LastPass EVERY PROFILE is forced to use THAT information- even going as far as logging out and logging into the OTHER profile's information/account. This is 1990's level idiotic.

WHY are profiles SHARING LOGIN INFORMATION!? This is entirely stupid and defeats the entire purpose of multiple profiles.

I had this happen with Facebook logins, too... WHY does ONE profile FORCE OTHER profiles to change their login information?! WHY ARE THEY NOT SEPARATED?!

How do I solve this?!

it is the SINGLE biggest reason why I can NOT switch to Firefox again. Chrome does this. Chromium does it. EVERY Chromium browser does this. 10 years ago Firefox did this... and I left it when it QUIT doing this... when it BROKE profile separation.

Why is this STILL a problem?!

I've been with yellow folders for several years. In the version that I have now, version 111, no longer works. I do not know because it doesn't work now. Maybe version 111 no longer admits it? Do you know how to put the yellow folders?

I wondered several times why firefox recovers old tabs when it chrashed. now i see that in my profile folder/sessionstore-backups the file recovery.jsonlz4 is some days old (while i was using firefox in the meantime very often) and does not update frequently as requested by about:config browser.sessionstore.interval = 15000 (15s). - this folder or the files are not locked. i can delete/rename them, they are not re-created - there is no file sessionstore.* in the main folder of firefox profile while running firefox - i am using 102.4.0esr (32-Bit) on a company PC (could there be any restrictions?) - the file previous.jsonlz4 seems to be created correctly when firefox is closed normal (which is not my usecase, i want to restore up to date tabs after crashes) - i am not using a private window

When I try to go to my webmail I sometimes am presented with a Deceptive Site Ahead warning.

I am quite happy that although the SSL might not be current that the website is safe for me to go there. How do I stop this annoying feature from activating?

Something is going on with Firefox. Web pages will not load, and the error message is "we could not verify the certificate: reason = timeout".

My internet speed is 400Mbps. I don't have a delay here. I've rebooted the PC, restarted Firefox, and about 3 out of every 5 web pages comes up with this error.

I couldn't even get to the Mozilla support site with Firefox. I had to use a different browser.

lately I started experiencing a font-family-related issue. On certain websites the font-families/styles look broken. I tried troubleshooting the issue by myself without any luck. What I did so far was reset my Windows fonts to default, reinstall Firefox and look what font-families are loaded through the Inspect tool. If I opened the same web page in Chrome the font looks OK. Two websites the issue is most visible at - support.fiverr.com and gmail.com when someone replies to my e-mail.

I run a simple website. gcessa.org. Until recently I was able to import a .doc or .docx document converted to a text document into the site and it loaded like one would expect. Lately the characters ', ", and - have been resolving as a �. There might be others I'm not aware of. Which means the characters are not found in the codex. What do I need to do to resolve this issue. I believe it started after one of the last two updates. I don't see this happening in edge or chrome.

This morning I noticed that my Firefox history has lost everything before April 2018. Fortunately I have another computer in sync with the first computer, and I was able to transfer the file places.squlite and recover my history. But why did it happen? And it's not the first time. Last year I lost from 2015 to 2017 or so. How can I prevent this from happening again?

I love how the new tab page clearly states "Never fear losing a closed tab again.", and then when a window disappears it is followed by zero history to recover it. I have not restarted Firefox, let alone my computer since the last time the window was seen (about half an hour ago). It's not in my Alt+Tab tray hiding. I don't even remember closing the tab--though it's possible my keyboard double pressed when I was closing another window. (It's old and has a tendency to double hit keys). But now I have lost a window with at least 20 tabs open--mostly things i had yet to deal with and don't remember the URL to get back to it.

What use is my history and ability to reopen accidentally closed windows if everything just disappears from it within half an hour after the window could've been closed?

I would prefer to keep most of my browsing on Firefox, but I can't constitute that if I'm going to lose months worth of saved tabs randomly.

Hi, new updates on Version 98.0.1 quite a hassle for me. It auto-download all my files even when I just want to view. Is there any other way to disable this feature? I opened Setting>Download but there is no disable button or checkbox for that. Please help me. Thank you in advance.

I'm a little surprised they've taken away the option of choice when it comes to downloading files. But what's most annoying, is the manager opens u and drops down blocking my view of the page, much less that it makes ms stop and think about what I am about to download.

I do not understand the purpose of this. The old way was safer, cleaner and less annoying. How can, or am I able to get that "choice" back?

When searching for a fix I have seen that that there is/was a similar feature in the Edge browser but it can be undone. I feel Firefox users deserve that option.

Hello dear volunteers (followers),

After Firefox Update to 100.0, the Theme that I created (JOHN - Light Grey) stopped working properly. More Specific all drop-down and pull-down menus have been transformed to a "white" background color, overcoming the initial created one, which was "dark gray".

So I tried to revise (update) my "Theme". But this became impossible.

In Developer Hub, in Theme Generator there was a (pink) frame warning "the following manifest properties that your most recent version upload used in it's manifest are unsupported in this wizard and will be ignored: properties popup popup_text tab_loading So I couldn't edit the theme and even more I can't finish and save any changes. Well, Is there any skilled user to give me a hand ? I would appreciate too much any piece of advice ...

My job requires me to download and open files in new tabs consistently. However, when I download these files, I don't want the download panel to obscure my vision. Can I disable it?

Greetings, I've checked a few articles in Firefox to help with my question, but none of them are helping. (Here's the main article: http://example.com.) Here's the situation. Say I go to a website's Contact page and click the button to contact someone, a window appears and asks me what app I want to use to open the email. Gmail is my default email, and Firefox is my default browser, and I use Windows 10. When I open the window of options (see attached screenshot) to open the email, and I then click "Choose Other Application" (other than Firefox), I don't see the Gmail app anywhere. I then followed the directions in that link above to check my Windows settings, per its suggestion, which I did ... but in those settings, too, I got to a point where the directions no longer matched what I'm seeing on my screen. I didn't see the Gmail app anywhere. Could you let me know in simple layperson's terms how to open Gmail links in Firefox? I don't have a PhD in computer science, so please keep it very simple. Hi folks, I had a problem with this back in June 2021 when my previously black background to the menu bar (bookmarks etc) changed to a washed out grey. Chris Ilias and dbben both replied, and Chris sent me a video guide on how to install Photon Colours, which fixed the problem, thanks. However, today the same problem has re-occurred - ie grey background. Unfortunately, when I checked in the Themes menu I found that Photon Colours is no longer there. Grateful if you could tell me if there is a new fix for this so that I can re-instigate the black background to the toolbar. Many thanks Chris
