I have Windows 10 and am using Internet Explorer as my web browser. I have tried several times to install Firefox, but it runs forever and never installs. I've had Firefox on other computers and have never had an issue with the install. Can someone tell me what I need to do?

It downloads to 97% then starts over. I have been using firefox on my desktop pc for a long time, but cant't get it installed on my notebook. I have deactivated eset firewall and windows defender still no go. IE 11 does work.

I am trying to download firefox for the first time. It will get so far in the download then will pop up box that says process was interrupted click ok to continue. When I click ok it will say page can not be displayed.

unable to install from setup stub (36.0.1)on win 10. Older Firefox setup (14.0.1) worked fine, and was able to update to latest version. Was getting message saying I couldn't write to the drive (D:), yet 14.0.1 installed without issue, I then updated and synced again without issue

I had to bend over backwards to get firefox 3 on my work machine. We cannot download exe files at work so i had to do it on my phone and usb it in give my self machine admin rights and install. I want the latest version but the installer appears to be downloading files during the installation this is blocked at work. i am lookig for alternative install file. Why is downloading mid installation? Why do i have to download something that downloads something why cant i just download it all on my phone then move it over . Please help

I had to uninstall Firefox on my laptop. Now I have been trying to download it and it will not download. There is not an error message but it will say its downloading for hours and nothing will happen.

I have been trying to download Firefox for a few days now, going back and forth from Chrome and IE. I don't want to use Chrome anymore. When I try to download it from IE it will get to a certain point and tell me that the download has been interrupted and to tap OK to resume, but when it resumes, it starts right at the beginning again. at first when I tried to download from Chrome (when I tried to download anything from Chrome, this is one of the many reasons why I want to switch) it would begin to download the file and then flash "download stopped, network failure." So I did a little research in the google help page, and they suggested that I clear my cookies and so I did, and now it will allow me to download the file, open it, click RUN, and even go to the install page. But when I hit install, it will say "downloading firefox" for 20-30 minutes, and then proceed to tell me that the download was interrupted. Please if you can help me in any way I would appreciate it. I can't update to latest version of firefox - I tried using 'about firefox' in the tools menu - didn't work (can't remember the error message) - I tried downloading the exe file and updating manually - it always gives a 'your download was interrupted' error message - I tried uninstalling firefox, and then downloading and installing the exe file using ie, and chrome, to see if either helped (they didn't)

I'm not sure what to try next ?

I used firefox on my old ASUS laptop. I just got a new one and was trying to install firefox on it today. I would get all the way to the Install setup page and I would click install and it would begin downloading. about halfway through everytime a message would pop up reading "your download was interrupted" and no matter what I would do it would not work.

I am downloading from Explorer. It just keeps saying Downloading Firefox after I double click on the installer. It goes on for hours and hours. It is ironic that it tells me that "you're about to enjoy the very latest in speed, flexibility and security so you're always in control." Please help.

I am running Firefox 33.1 & I am getting a message advising "Update failed."

When I attempt to download the latest version, it hangs (for as long as 8 to 10+ hours) and does nothing.

Following a system failure, I was able to recover my Favorites (from a back up that I had (prior to the system crash.))

The loading dialog box remains open with the bar going madly from left to right. Load never finishes. Had same problem yesterday. Finally gave up. Trying again today with same result. I have 9 GB of space available so that's not the issue.

I need the install file for the developer edition, rather then an install stub. One of my developers would like to use this edition of firefox, but because of our download restrictions against users we are unable to install it through the stub, can you help?
