After the browser update earlier today I cannot log into 'You Tube TV'. The browser keeps asking for my email and password over and over and never signs me in. It keeps telling that I am signed out and need to sign in, over and over. I cleared my cache and cookies. I changed my sign in from my yahoo email to my gmail account and it still will not work. If I use the chrome browser it works fine. Please Help.

How can I remove Google as a search engine that appeared after having my computer checked for viruses etc? I want to restore duckduckgo as my primary search engine.

I have made Firefox my default browser, and set Google as my default search engine.

I'd like to keep it that way, BUT ...

Every morning when I come to work and open my browser and begin to search .. Yahoo comes up .. or Bing ???? I delete them, and again set Google as the default ... BUT FIREFOX CONTINUES TO REVERT TO YAHOO, or BING SEARCH RESULTS  ?!?!?!?!?!?

Even when I deliberately open Google and search in Google .. the results appear and then suddenly, a new window pops up with Yahoo results, covering up the Google results????

How can I make Firefox respond to the default search setting I choose????

This is intolerable. If I can't get ride of Yahoo and Bing and all these other inferior search engines, then I'm going to go back to using Chrome.

Hi guys, Just wanting to know why the Captcha is so hard. I sometimes need to do the captcha 30-40 times. Can't there be a simpler way to do this. it's very frustrating when I google an address that I need to go to but it takes 15 minutes to get through the captcha. I end up closing Firefox & opening Chrome or Edge. Can something be done about this? Also, Captcha is not clear.. When it comes up with "Motorcycles" is the rider included in this? Or "Stairs" is the hand rail included in that? Please change it to make it simpler so I can continue using Firefox. I'm using Windows 10 on a computer.

How do I turn off those annoying "update available" notifications/reminders that keep popping up? I've gone into Settings, and in the Updates section firefox only let's me select auto updates or check for updates. I searched online but couldn't seem to find anything about how to disable the notifications all together with the newer version of FF. It's driving me crazy, thinking of switching browsers because of this. Thanks in advance!

I use the Rapport Add-on to protect my personal info especially when doing on-line banking at the moment I have to use Chrome but I would rather stay with Firefox but you dont have this extension why?

PG&E is notifying its customers on its website that Firefox (among others) is "unsupported."

   "Your browser is unsupported.
   "Please use a different browser. To learn more, visit pge.com/supported-browsers."

I have not noticed any problems viewing/interacting anywhere on their site and would like to know why they are making this warning. I suspect that Mozilla.org would have a similar concern.

Signed into Wall Street Journal. Clicked on a subject. Got this on a screen Application error: a client-side exception has occurred (see the browser console for more information). Tried to ask the question at WSJ, Their trees are hard to get through. What is a browser console?

This is something that I've noticed for a while, but why is it that whenever I go to Twitch and try to open a live stream, it always comes out muted? This does not happen if I use Twitch on other browsers, or on my phone.

My Firefox browser recently updated to 115.11.0esr (64-bit), and now embedded videos won't play, I can initially see a picture, but instead of starting to play, the screen turns dark green and I can only hear the sound. This happened once before recently, but then it seemed to fix itself after a week or two. How can this be fixed?

I've had an ongoing issue with Firefox now for several months since upgrading to windows 11. When I try to copy text, or images, url's or anything really that is supposed to go to the clipboard, it copies a blank text with no data instead. I can copy text and images from other programs and even paste them into text fields on Firefox but I can't copy from Firefox to anything else and it's frustrating.

I recently got forced into upgrading Outlook in windows and hated it so I started using Thunderbird and surprisingly, I have the exact same issue there as well.

I have tried: Running Firefox in safe mode (Shift + Left Click) Resetting Firefox Switching Back to default themes Disabling hardware acceleration Updating to the latest Beta Build (v126) Running Firefox Developer edition

I really want to get this fixed and working, I don't want to have to switch to another browser =/.

Windows 11 Firefox browser 125.0.1

In Proton Mail, when I receive an email with an picture attached inline, I get the following error message: "Your browser could not verify the remote server's identity. The image might be hosted using the http protocol." Is this issue with settings in Proton or Firefox? How do I fix this? See image below. Thank you.

I am using Ubuntu 23.10.1 with KDE Plasma desktop environment. Since recently I've been experiencing the following problem with Firfox document viewer: after a period of inactivity, PDFs become unreadable, and seem to cumulate everything that was displayed on screen (see screenshot). Ctrl + F5 does not help, and neither does closing the window and opening a new one with a link to the file. KDE Document Viewer displays the same file correctly.

Everything is gone….bookmarks, passwords, history on my desktop computer and I have no idea why. I opened Firefox and the home page was different and then noticed nothing was the same. I dl Firefox again, no help, same result. I do have my desktop synced to my iPad and laptop but I’m concerned they will import from the desktop and get wiped out. Is there a way to sync from the laptop to the desktop? I am at a complete loss on how to fix this. I do run a backup on this computer. Would that help? Restore point?
