lowes web page comes up. but when looking for product it denies me access. it said denied access to server. it gives me codes that i do not under stand.please give me step by step on how to fix it. paul klemp

Since the last update, I am unable to log into my American Express account using Firefox (I can log in using Chrome, but Firefiox is my default browser). After entering user name and password, the little spinng arrow goes around for 8-10 seconds and goes off again - it won't to progress to the next screen . Never any error messages, it just spins awhile and stops.

how can i disable firefox usage hints like "Try tab groups for less clutter, more focus"?. It opens up if i open up a certain amount of tabs. Is there anything i can disable in about:config?

Using 148 on Debian trixie I do not see the option for "refresh browser"?

I am running Firefox 144.0 on kubuntu 24.04.3 LTS I have lost sound on Firefox. I have opened the same sites in Chrome and the sound is working fine. It's only in Firefox. I have tried several sites including Udemy, YouTube, and radio programs, no sound from Firefox. The problem started in the middle of a Jit.Si session. All of a sudden the sound disappeared. I thought that restart Firefox would help, then restart the computer would help. But the problem has continued. The speakers is turned on the volume is up, just not a sound from Firefox. What to do?

This setting, "Always ask you where to save files," is definitely broken.

But this workaround should not be needed. "Always ask" means always ask. As in always. No other additional steps should be needed.

Can you folks please open a bug to get this fixed? This used to work just fine in (much) older versions of Firefox and Netscape. "Always ask" is supposed to mean always ask. Like, always.

Hello. I am using Linux Mint 21.3 cinnamon and Firefox 144.0.2 When I use Google maps and the yellow small pointer (cartoon) to go on a specific street, the window come black when shifting to street view. My only extension is disabled, hardware acceleration unchecked, cache cleared and cookies cleared. I have made fresh install and nothing help. Troubleshooting mode allow street view to work fine but normal mode don't work. Google chrome work good. Chromium work good. And finally, Firefox work ok on my Linux mint LMDE 6.

Any idea where to go to solve this issue?

When trying to log into my work Microsoft Office 365 account on Firefox, a QR Code is supposed to appear, which I scan with my phone and the MSFT Authenticator app logs me in. This doesn't happen in Firefox but instead says, "Touch your security key to continue with login.microsoft.com. I am not using a security key and they are not allowed by my work. This works fine on Chrome based browsers.

Is there some setting that will fix this or is this a bug with Firefox?

Hello everybody, i hope you are having a great day!. I have a problem with Youtube about the frames drops, in 1080p60fps i have drops but in 1080p normal don't. For system operative i'm using Fedora 43. And the Firefox version is the 145.0.1 64 bits. My specs are low: Intel i5 6200u with his integrated graphics (Intel HD 520) Already installed the extension h264ify, and i think i have all the correct drivers and codecs from the rpmfusion (ffmpeg, mesa freeworld) If u need more detail and information i can give it to you. I recently updated to 147.0.1, and now it seems I can no longer access word/excel/powerpoint files for online editing. I have already tried clearing cookies, disabling adblockers, disabling tracking protection, running in a private window, all the way down to completely reinstalling Firefox 147 fresh. This has persisted for roughly a week, so it does not seem to be an issue with my own network connection, nor with Microsoft's services, nor my files specifically since I can edit the files online from my PC at work. The error message specifically reads:

We can't connect to the server at usc-excel.officeapps.live.com (or usc-word-edit.officeapps.live.com or usc-powerpoint.officeapps.live.com, respectively).

I could previously access these files to edit when I was still on Firefox 146, so I'm guessing it's something going on with 147. Has anyone encountered similar issues with Web Office apps, and perhaps found a resolution?
