Recently I have had multiple occurrences of Firefox "freezing" and I have to shutdown the browser which then reports the fault to Microsoft. It seems to happen when I click on the button to Maximise the browser window. I'm running Windows 11. It generally does restore the browser tabs successfully but is nevertheless irritating and a recent phenomenom.

I have problem in Mozilla Firefox 118 and 119 about company web app. There are several input[text] and textarea that can't type in them. But in other browsers are fine and Mozilla Firefox ver. 117 is fine too.

Btw, this app using AngularJS.

Any idea what happen and are there any solutions for this problem ?

While on michaels.com I click on a product, it goes to the product then immediately the screen goes blank. It also happens when I do a search, multiple products show up, then the screen goes blank. I don't have that issues on other websites. What is going on and how do I solve this issue?

I've been using firefox for 10 years and this is the first time this is happening on me. Firefox was working fine but it does not work starting yesterday, simple task like opening and starting a new tab firefox took more than 20 seconds. None of the pages are showing anything, even those about:config pages are not working Every other browsers, like safari and chrome is working perfectly.

I tried to refresh, reset, safe mode, uninstall and deleted library/caches/firefox, library/application support/firefox, but the same problem still occurs.

My specs: macos 14.1. intel 13900kf, 6800xt, corsair vengeance ddr5 48gb, wd 850x ssd

Some websites display poorly on Firefox 119.0 on my Dell computer running Windows 11. Some of the letters of the fonts are too thin and hard to read. They display correctly in Edge.

I have used Inspect Element to see that the font is: font-family: Roboto, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;

The problem goes away if I change this to: font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;

I do not have the Roboto or Helvetica fonts installed on my computer.

The problem fixes itself if I turn off the setting for "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of your selection above." However, this is not a good solution, because it introduces other issues.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have researched this for several hours and tried many of the suggestions online.

1) I have disabled all extensions. 2) I don't have any Themes installed in Firefox. 3) I have tried "Smooth edges of images and text" turned on and off. 4) The problem still occurs when running Firefox in Safe Mode. 5) I don't have a "High Contrast theme" enabled in the OS settings. 6) I am not running uBlock Origin. 7) I have played with Clear Type but the problem was occurring before that. I have tried modifying Firefox's gfx.font_rendering.cleartype_params.gamma to the value of GammaLevel from Windows's registry Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Avalon.Graphics\DISPLAY1. 8) I haven't installed any fonts on my computer. 9) I tried setting security.sandbox.content.level = 1.

So I opened firefox as usual, which automatically restores my previous session, but only one tab was showing, and the rest were blank and had no addresses. Then I opened firefox again after closing, and only the last tab, of the previous tabs was showing. After that I looked for restore last session, but it was nowhere to be found. What I did find, was restore recently closed tabs, so i selected that. But of course, these were the recently closed tabs, and not my previous session. After looking around on the internet, I quickly found sessionstore files, but at that point, my past files had been updated.

Where does firefox house deleted/updated files? And how can I recover "previous" sessionstore files?

I am unable to play any videos on firefox only because of this WidevindCDN crash messages. i have updated firefox to the latest version and restarted the device and tried again however this error keeps showing up and doesnt let any video play. Please fix

Hi there, Last night I installed some new hardware into my PC, new motherboard and CPU for example. After that, I booted up the PC, everything worked completely fine and I was able to listen to Youtube / Twitch / Spotify etc. through Firefox.

This morning I boot up the PC, everything still works perfectly and I have audio coming from all other sources EXCEPT for Firefox. I have browsed every forum already but can not find anything that relates to me. I can't set my output device, since Firefox doesn't show up in the volume mixer. The tabs aren't muted. I have restarted Audiosrv and Windows Explorer several times. I have re-installed Firefox twice. I have tried booting it in safemode. All of the above hasn't resulted in a single second of audio. I am at a loss.

Was getting some crash reports....now have a black bar on top of new tabs...it finally scrolls when you are halfway down the page. any help would be appreciated.

Whenever I try to launch Firefox, a blank window opens and immediately closes instead of the actual browser. This happens no matter how many times I try, even if I restart my computer. In case it's relevant, I'm using Windows 10.

Can't get to Google apps from google home page. Dots for Google apps not there. Only way they appear is to search for something. Otherwise you can't get to apps (no nine dots) or even sign in to google. Nosigh-in box either on first open of browser. Thanks for the help.

About 3 months ago when logging in to my bank account on a windows PC using Firefox, the password was accepted but the account failed to open due to an error. Previously it worked like a charm, but my bank updated its security and it hasn't worked since. However if I perform the same operation on Google Chrome it works. I have a similar experience on a few other web sites. Is there something in my Firefox settings preventing this from happening? Cheers,

I decided to migrate from chrome to firefox, sadly, my experience has been faced with random slow downs or partial loads even on a fresh install. It's weird but it seems that at random times some websites will refuse to fully load or even start loading, it appears that the app is just hanging. This is usually fixed after several refreshes. Oddly enough, even on a fresh install, if I attempt to load up the same website while in private browsing, it loads right away, again this is consistent even on a fresh install, the attached image was an attempt to load youtube after signing in on a fresh install without add-ons, I tried loading up youtube in private and it worked right away. Chrome wasn't presenting this problem on my computer for years. Any ideas? My computer specs are high enough where they shouldn't matter. I'm running an AMD GPU (7900 XTX) but I haven't found any know issues regarding these, to even discard that, I disabled hardware acceleration, but the issue persisted. Running up to date windows 10, installing latest version of firefox.

I've notice FF in the past month has stooped maintaining scroll position upon refreshing. It was working perfectly until recently. maintain scroll position upon refreshing is a key feature to my work. Please help!

Long time user (love it) but the browser is consuming a lot of memory. With the same windows open in Chrome, Firefox is consuming 5 times the amount making the system slower glitchy.

This has been an issue for awhile and I checked all the posted solutions. Either the software is consuming an that is normal or something is running in the background. Firefox is at 1831.5 MB as I type this.

Can I uninstall then reinstall? or is everything going to return?

When I visit NeilYoungArchives.com with Firefox, the formatting of the site is "broken." None of the icons line up properly or are in the same place. It happens every time I visit the site since the last update even in a Private session. This does not happen for any other browser. It is at the current version and runs on a Mac

The first image is the broken Firefox. The second is on Chrome. Safari works fine also.

Recently Youtube refuses to play any videos for me, saying adblockers are against their rules. I have uninstalled Adblock, and reset firefox totally. Youtube is still blocking me. It works fine on Chrome. Do I have to switch to Chrome permanently?
