Hi,

I work for LinkedIn and several of us are having issues with Firefox. You click on it and it opens but from there it does absolutely nothing. We have done all the troubleshooting possible such as clearing all data, uninstall/install, update, remove extensions ans saved data, delete folder from computer data and nothing fixes this issue. Can someone please assist?

For the first time in a week I went directly to my GMX account but couldn't se my emails, contacts or any information other than the form layouts the pages are blank, however in Opera everything is seen. Also for many months Firefox doesn't allow the Recaptures to load so many sites, and services like sending of contact forms, wont work, its extremely frustrating as Firefox has all my passwords. I could go to Pale moon is the PW's can be shared as a FF user of over 20 years it is my preferred browser and would appreciate these issues resolved please.

Example: If I start typing in the address bar and type the letter a... amazon.com comes up since I frequent there a lot. But, if I start typing the name of my bank nothing comes up in the address bar. I always have to type it out.

Firefox is causing loud fan noise and very high CPU usage. It is to the point I am going to have to stop using it.

Here is my info: iMac 27" 3.5 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7 16 GB MacOS Catalina 10.15.7

Increased usage happens when there are 3 or more tabs are open or any sort of streaming on one tab. It goes up and down, but reaches up into the 90% area.

There must be a fix for this. No other browsers have this issue.

Hi, I browse exclusively full-screen, and I've had a recurring headache making the annoying full-screen animation go away since the inception of Firefox itself- it is the best browser by far and I am loathe to use anything else.

This question comes up time and time again, disabling animations through about:config is very much hit and miss and seems to work completely randomly, sometimes it does, sometimes it don't.

Well, now it don't. Again.

I have the following set:

full-screen-api.transition-duration.enter: 0 0 full-screen-api.transition-duration.leave: 0 0 full-screen-api.transition.timeout: 0 0 full-screen-api.warning.delay: 0 full-screen-api.warning.timeout: 0 dom.animations-api.core.enabled: false

Oddly enough, there used to be options for setting "cosmetic" animations too, but I have no option to change that since FF 100.

Can someone please let me know how to solve this because the annoyance is big enough for me to switch over to Opera or some other browser permanently for how consistently unreliable this function is.

Google searches are occasionally freezing up Firefox and not processing. I'll type in my search, push enter and suddenly my entire desktop will hang, mouse will move slowly and jerk around before regaining full control. Once control is regained, Firefox will no longer respond and must be force closed and relaunched.

It's getting exhausting to the point I've used Edge for searches just to not be bothered.

Let me know what information I can provide to make diagnosis easier. I understand intermittent issues are rough to troubleshoot.

Search doesn't work. I type in the address bar or open a new tab and type in the search box, which goes to the address bar, after I hit enter the google search shows in the address bar (https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=test) but nothing happens. no spinning, no error message just nothing. I've tried other search engines, same thing. It does work in troubleshoot mode and incognito. I do not have any extensions or add ins and use the default theme. No updates are available, I've cleared history (works very temporarily), & reinstalled.

Videos don't play in Firefox after updating to Windows 11. They just perpetually load. Playback works fine on Google Chrome, I'm not sure what could be causing this. I tried reinstalling, disabling all extensions, clearing cache, etc. and nothing has worked.

The logo on this page I'm creating isn't showing in Firefox. It's working fine in other browsers.

When I inspect the logo url is there but not sure why it isnt showing.

I used to be able to use firefox to order groceries on instacart with no errors or performance issues. Since the end of March, I cannot use the site without interminable errors and slow operation. Error 1727 seems to pop up a lot. I have tried clearing cache and cookies with no improvement.

This is my favorite browser by far, I am willing to pay to use it, but need the old reliable versions of Firefox back!

Today I had to use edge to get my order placed.  :(

Hi,

I'm trying to access my Apple ID (appleid.apple.com). When I select "Sign In" the page hangs and never displays the fields to enter my user name and password. The message I get is "This action could not be completed because of an error. Try again or check back later."

Under Settings > General > Network Settings I selected No proxy and I disabled DNS over HTTPS. But neither of these actions made a difference.

Eventually, I had to use Microsoft Edge to access my account.

Any ideas?

Since the latest (5 May 2022) update to Firefox (to Firefox 100.0) my Gmail account does not work properly on my desktop running W11. Gmail frequently disconnects for varying periods, then reconnects, only to disconnect again almost immediately. Gmail will not let me open another account from within the current account. This does not happen on my Android phone where Gmail works properly. Neither does it happen when I run Gmail through Edge on my desktop. Hence I presume it results from an interaction between Firefox100.0 and Gmail. My wife has exactly the same problem using her Microsoft Surface Laptop under W10 since this latest update.

I have W10 fully updated with plenty of RAM but in the last few weeks, after I boot up in the morning (I shut down every night) it takes a long time (several minutes) for either Firefox or Thunderbird to fully boot up . Firefox opens tomy home page, but does not complete for several minutes so I can go nowhere. If I am patient and wait it is fine the rest of the day..nice and fast. If I shut down and reboot again- very very slow opening of both for the initial time. I have run full virus scans, sfc/scannow, malwarebytes, cleared history and cache and cookies, turned off and on hardware excelerator. Any other suggestions? Word and Excel open quickly as usual.

Firefox 100.0 randomly hangs. Doesn't seem related to particular web site or web page. Is happening with increasing frequency (e.g. every 5 minutes or less).

Browser is completely unresponsive to mouse. Even title bar functions are hung. Must use Task Manager to Firefox end tasks. is happening on multiple independent PCs.

Long time Firefox user (10+ years) about to throw in the towel and go with some other browser unless someone can help with this serious issue. Please help..
