My microphone does not work properly in Firefox, it sounds very low and bad.

I have a Corsair HS35 Stereo headset and my sound driver is Realtek HD Audio 2nd output.

I have tested my microphone in other browsers and other kind of applications like Google Chrome, Brave, Windows Voice Recorder, WhatsApp Desktop, etc. and the microphone works fine. It only works badly in Firefox.

I did the test with a portable version of Firefox, and, as with the installed version, the microphone was malfunctioning.

I've also noticed that Firefox lowers the microphone volume automatically (how do I prevent this?), yet even if I turn it all the way up it still sounds very low and bad.

What can I do about it?

I was watching anime today on some site and my firefox was downloading many files without my knowledge into my download folder. I'm worried that it can be some viruses? This is a screenshoot. Should i be worried? Thank you for help.

firefox is very slow, crash several times. i need to close and reopen.

it comes on average 2TB of Ram with 4-5 tabs open. version: 99.01 64 bit

The title already says it all. Whenever i have some sound or video running in any tab, clicking on certain things like other videos or animated stuff in the same tab or another one causes a small interruption in the sound/video. Clicking a lot of times results in sound and video stuttering. I does not appear when i just click another link.

I already tried updating firefox, reinstall firefox, even downgrading firefox. This problem only appears in firefox and only on this device. I would be very thankfull for some advices, because this is really annoying.

Something changed a couple months ago where Firefox's spell check began only catching about half of my typos. Over the last 15 years I have become used to my browser providing spell checking services, looking for the little red lines to point out my mistakes, so now that this feature has stopped working reliably I am constantly submitting items with embarrassing typos, having to go back and edit almost every single post I make after the fact. Is there any way to get this working properly again? Thanks.

I have used LastPass extension on FF for years with no problems. About a week ago the icon disappeared from my extensions menu bar but would come back if I logged on to LP via the web. Today, it won't come on at all. I have FF ver. 99.0.1 64 bit on Windows 10. How do I fix this?

When I try to access a few common sites, such as Lowes.com and Totalwine.com, I get the following message:

An Error has occured We apologize for the inconvenience, but the requested url is invalid. It may be a result of using special characters that are not accepted at this time. Thank you for your patience.

If I really need to access the site I can open Google Chrome and they will open with no problem.

How do I fix this issue? BTW Firefox just loaded the latest update and the problem still exists.

When i open up https://login.comptia.org i can see the website and it loads then it prompts me to login, but when i click the login button the website goes blank and turns all white and i refresh the website and it stays white. I have cleared all cookies and cache, and i have also refreshed firefox.

I have several issues when using Western journal that work fine if I use Chrome browser. Like answering question of the day, I have to reload the page to see the results. Chrome updates right after I select answer. About ready to switch back to Chrome and I Really don't want too!

On thursday 4/28/22 I lost the ability to use Gmail via firefox. I keep getting errors such as check your network connection and Oops... the system encountered an error (#001)

I have updated my browser on my windows computer, my network speed, upload and download speed is good. All other websites are functioning just fine. Only Gmail seems to be affected on my computer. (It works fine from other computers and from my phone.)

For the last few days audio in firefox does not work at all, i searched your site for known solutions, uninstalled and reinstalled the firefox but it is still the same, i get normal audio from every other app/game just not from firefox itself. The day it happened there were no updates i did (both on my pc or the firefox ) i was just reading and playing some music on youtube, the music stops i go to check if it is the youtube are you still there message but there is nothing i can see the video playing but no sound, i then reinstalled my audio drivers thinking it was the windows problem that i had few times now but still no results. I am having to use Google to get this request for help to you because my newly installed FireFox stays blank and does not go to and load any of my daily go to sites.

For the last month, when I use Firefox and DuckDuckGo as my browser, on my MacBookPro Catalina 10.15.7 an image appears that says "Secure Connection Failed"

Sometimes, if I click on "try again" i will get the website I am seeking.... this could just be AOLMAIL... or Marketwatch... or Reuters..... But this happens about once in 100 tries.

How do I get the system working as it did for so many years?

Ever since Firefox updated to the new version I've been having constant crashes. I've tried restarting in Safe Mood which doesn't help. Pretty much Firefox will open, say it's not responding, and then by the time it looks like it's about to restore my tabs it crashes. I had to do a refresh and transferred the backup files from an older session which worked, but then it eventually crashed again. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox and tried opening my older profile but it keeps happening. I really need to restore my previous session. There's nothing with my computer that seems to be causing it. I did have 2 windows open with about 8,000 tabs total which I'm sure could be part of the reason, but it never really had trouble before and only just started crashing since the update. Is there any way to fix this without starting over? I read that this is a bug that others have dealt with previously.

Some additional information. I'm on a 64-bit Windows 10 PC.

So, YouTube sound doesn't work, and only YouTube, i already checked similarly posts but none of them helped, the sound plays for a fraction of second then just stop, if i click the player to like skip to a certain time frame of the video it plays the sound... for a fraction of second again... i don't know what to do. I already tried: Checking the player to see if its muted (and the tab) Checked other sites (they work fine) Checked if its a specific video (all of them have the problem) Checked other browsers (they work fine) Checked permissions Reinstalled Firefox Refreshed Firefox Restarted the computer multiple times...

This problem started around version 97 (i had a break from computer and went back at v 97) but older versions still had that problem after i revert to it. i did:

• turned hardware acceleration and recommended settings off
• cleared cache and profile few times
• offline and safe mode
• restarting and reinstalling for few times
• installing Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022 (vc_redist.x64.exe).

still hangs up.

it sometimes opens after i restarted,what can cause this?
