I received an email from mozilla, dated 02/23/24 subject: Don't stop the sync Up grade firefox password by March 31st.

I'm dumb about how to do this.......My deceased wife did all of using the Mac. The unit has version 78...Has anyone got time to guide me thru this??

My apple computer is 2008 imac and on the 78.15.Oesr and no more updates exist, will i still be able to use firefox web browser after March 31st

my mac desk top is version 10.11.6 its from year manufactured 2008 no more updates available, dont understand how to keep my old desk top from 20087 usable with firefox after March 31st 2024

I have received an email requesting that I update my browser before the 31 march 2024 in order to still have access to my Mozilla account.

I wish i could update firefox but my computer and operating system are at least 10 years old. And updating my operating system (to be able to use a newer version of firefox) will create havoc on my computer.

I really like using firefox, I've used it for many years. And it's indeed very practical to be able to sync between my phone firefox browser and on my laptop.

I just wanted to share my disappointment that people like me will no longer be able to use their account and browser properly. Some of us cannot or do not want to update everything all the time and wish to be able to use basic functions of apps/programs they like.

Thank you for this very good product. I'm just sorry I won't be able to use it properly anymore.

If you know of any solution to this problem, I would be very glad to try it.

I can't scroll down my Outlook Email folders. I have maybe 30 folders, but I can only see the first/top 12 or so, starting with Inbox, etc. I can scroll down my emails. I have asked Microsoft Support 3 times, so I have deleted addons, cleared cache, tried Private Window, but still no joy. The folders are all visible on my cell phone (Android), but I really want full use of Hotmail again on my laptop. It has been a problem for a few months. I cannot update my OSX, so cannot install/use another browser, and probably not update Firefox either from 78.15.Oesr. Thanks in advance.

I was injured and in the hospital a long period. my phone number was changed by my daughter from [telephone number] to [telephone number] my email changed because cable one closed all their accounts. It now is [email address]. Now I cannot log into my facebook account no matter what I do. It is the way I get in touch with my friends and relatives. What happened to my account? I was asked to log in with my name, Eileen Dueck and click on my picture to get in but that does not work. Nothing else works either. Please find my account and restore it.cannot l

I have downloaded (or so I thought) the Firefox 115.13 in order to use Billpay via my bank. After several attempts, my bank keeps saying "Looks like you are using Firefox 78; update to..." Would love any help. Shan

Pressed "Learn more" and am now advised to do something I don't understand.

The other day I discovered all my extensions have been disabled. I have an old Mac and am not able to upgrade to a newer version of Firefox. Is Mozilla going to offer a solution for people like me who find their preferred browser to now be frustrating and inefficient? I would love to restore my add-ons. Thank you.

When i starup my firefox browser All my bookmarks are gone and i dont know how to retrieve the bookmarks. do i need to setup an firefox account or what should i do? with regards

Mon vieux Imac fonctionnait sans trop de problèmes jusquà présent ! Le 10 juillet 2025, il s’est « planté » sur l’opération suivante :

« Google Chrome -> Gmail -> Google Workspace »

tous mes messages apparaissent normalement quelques secondes puis l’écran se voile et devient inopérant avec la mention :

« cette version du navigateur n’est plus compatible. Veuillez installer un navigateur compatible »

Je n’ai pas les moyens d’acheter un autre Mac !

There are no OS updates available for my computer hardware (nor have there been for quite a few years), just to quash that right off the bat.

The last release for 10.11 is 78.15.0esr (64-bit).

A number of websites do not load or outright refuse to load (the whole cloudflare hosting system, imgur, daily motion, youtube nags about it, even the login system for mozilla support renders quite oddly).

So I'm requesting an updated release. I realize there may be limitations due to libraries that have similarly abandoned 10.11. Thanks.
