Hello,

I've been experiencing a great deal of crashes recently, mostly just with individual tabs, but occasionally the Firefox window itself goes down as well. I've tried reinstalling and refreshing Firefox, and I've been doing checks to see if my RAM or other hardware are faulty with no results so far.

I've mostly experienced the issue when playing videos on YouTube, but I've had crashes just casually browsing other sites as well.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated, and thank you in advance.

I'm switching to Firefox from Vivaldi since adblocking on YouTube no longer works on Chromium-based browsers, and Google is determined to annoy me even outside of Chrome (they also forced their material design context menus on everything else based on Chromium). However, I'm finding I'm missing the reading list functionality immediately. It has become a basic part of how I browse, and I attempted to use Pocket, but I'm finding that I hate how Pocket works compared to Vivaldi's reading list. Does anyone know of a good extension that emulates how Chromium-based browsers have their reading list, including working with sync so I can pass links between devices?

I'm a university student using a website called canvas to access my uni information and work. Today, whenever I would open a module, the page wouldn't load, meaning that I couldn't access that information at all (refreshing, restarting, and completely turning off my computer did not help). I can access these pages when I checked with microsoft edge, similarly I could access these pages when I accessed them with my laptop (also using Mozilla). The main difference between my pc and laptop is that I had just, today, updated my PC to the latest windows update (2024-05 cumulative update for windows 11 version 23H2 for x64-based systems). I'm not entirely sure if it's a Mozilla problem, but im guessing that something funky is happening to my browser with the latest windows update. I have attached pictures to show whats happening / not happening .

It started today.

I can no longer sign into X if I have my Firefox browser setting "Never Remember History" enabled.

If I enable "Remember History" I can log in to X.

This has never been an issue before and is a bit frustrating.

Getting application errors on some sites – but the same site works in other browsers. This has been happening over the last couple of weeks – getting application errors on some sites but not in other browsers. On the example shown I see the login page flash briefly then replaced by the error.

There is a display issue when I search anything in the url bar. It goes up the window, and disappears completely if many suggestions are made. The issue disappears when in troubleshooting mode. I disabled all plugins, changed the theme to no avail.

As of Wednesday afternoon my internal/system mic and speakers are no longer working with FireFox. Geek Squad says it's a problem with FireFox. I'm running Win11 on a Dell laptop that's about a year old. Firefox is up to date, and Windows should be as well.

When I restarted my PC and opened Firefox only 1 tab Open previous windows and tabs. All the other 6 disappeared. I opened 3 additional tabs, closed Firefox, and reopened Firefox and only the one same tab was there from the previous session. Why does the feature not work properly?

Video is stuttering with latest update. This just started today, Ma7 17, 2024. I went to a different browser to confirm that it is firefox. This confirmed the issue. I checked the settings and I have selected everything as indicated in the help files. I tried turning off enhanced tracking function and I selected allow video and audio auto play. It still happens

Firefox browser doesn't load youtube's content, showing only grey for videos and text. The browser console shows a number of errors (I've attached a screenshot of the console). Even playing a YouTube video linked from a web site plays only that video. All other content is greyed out. Safari loads YouTube without problem. iMac 2017 OS is up to date, as is Firefox. What do the errors mean, and is it a problem with my settings? Thank you for any help

I read books using Amazon Kindle's cloud log in. After installing Firefox 126, I am no longer able to open books on my last page, I cannot turn pages or even open my notes. I tried using Kindle cloud on other browsers and everything works fine.

Any idea why my Kindle cloud functions are not working on Firefox?

Firefox updated last night while my headphones were plugged in. Now I cannot get website audio through the headphones in Firefox. None of the solutions from help forums have worked. Audio settings seem fine and headphones work on other browsers.

I was having issues with my laptop so I decided to do a System Restore to a previous date. Once completed, I opened Firefox and tried to restore previous sessions, but none were found. I also noticed that the shortcuts were blank, possibly uninstalled. I clicked on shortcuts and nothing opened. I downloaded Firefox again and reinstalled, but now I cannot restore my previous sessions. I tried to restore going to History>Manage History>Import and Backup>Restore>Choose File and selecting previous.jsonlz4 and recovery.jsonlz4 file with a date from last month, but again nothing happens. I searched around for answers, but only came across instructions to compress jsonlz4 file and decompress using mozlz4 without any instructions on how to use it.

What else can I do?
