I went to about:config and set my privacy.globalprivacycontrol values to all True. Yet, when I go https://globalprivacycontrol.org/, the website states that the GPC signal is not detected. Is any other action required? I am using Firefox v16.0.2 on a Mac computer running Ventura 13.5.

when I view a stock quote in Google Finance If I move my Windows cursor into the price chart and move the chart cursor to a new date or time the tab will hang. I can no longer move the chart cursor. Reloading the tab will no longer work. I have to delete the tab and then use History to reload it. There is no problem as long as I keep the Windows cursor out of the stock chart area.

I have several tabs with stock data from Google Finance open at the same time. For example. https://www.google.com/finance/quote/TSLA:NASDAQ https://www.google.com/finance/quote/AAPL:NASDAQ https://www.google.com/finance/quote/MSFT:NASDAQ

I am running Windows 11 up to date and Firefox 116.02. This has been a problem for a long time.

My Firefox Desktop browser is showing the mobile versions of some websites.

In another thread, it is suggested to clear cookies to fix this which I did and it does fix it first but it comes back to mobile version again.

I have browsed those websites on Microfot Edge and it displays them as normal with no issues.

Screenshots attahced for websites, hepsiburada.com and temu.com Strangely, both are shopping websites.

On September 15, 2022 I created this thread here on Firefox Support Forum and now I finally have an answer to the question, but as we can see my thread was archived and I can't update anything, so I decided to create a new thread just to mark my previous question as solved and bring it an answer.

I contacted Mozilla Firefox developers and got a response: Firefox is no longer integrated with Gravatar. Considering this, I can tranquilly say there is no bug or problem with my account as I thought. It's a pity that Firefox no longer support Gravatar integration, and even if I use an old version I will face the same "issue" because the Gravatar integration was a online feature linked to the Firefox account*, not to the browser itself.

• Actually I made a mistake when I wrote this, the Gravatar integration was an online feature linked to the Mozilla account, not Firefox. James explained the distinction on #4 post of the current thread.

Running Windows 11 on a Dell XPS 8930. Internet download speed is 100Mb/sec. With every update of Firefox it seems to take longer and longer to launch Firefox and load open windows and tabs. Several minutes of the back and forth ball on each tab. I can launch Chrome and its windows and tabs load almost immediately. What can I do to improve Firefox performance, short of abandoning it?

I have Firefox Sync enabled in my Firefox browser on a few computers. When I logged in to Firefox Sync initially, it did sync-up my new computer with all of the saved bookmarks and history. I am not sure if any of my logins were saved). When I go to websites and login, I am prompted with the dialog to save my credentials, and I say ok, save. But the logins are not remembered. And in my about:logins page shows "no logins found". I don't care about retrieving any old logins, I just want to be able to save new ones and get the default behavior of saving logins working again.

Hi Firefox...I am unable to sign in to this website in the traditional way. When I attempt entry I get the following message. "Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site.

We can’t connect to the server at secure.adultfriendfinder.com.

If you entered the right address, you can:

   Try again later
   Check your network connection
   Check that Firefox has permission to access the web (you might be connected but behind a firewall)".

This is the ONLY site, that I have where I encounter this issue. Technical people say that it is not on their end.

I can go to my neighbors computer and immediately gain access.

I have turned off NORD VPN...no success I have turned off Pi Hole...no success I have change search engines...no success...I use DDG on all sites...using Google or Yahoo search engines did not effect the outcome. I have refreshed FF...no success I have deleted and re-installed DDG ad on...no success I have included a screen shot of what I get when denied access.

The only way to gain entrance is to go to the "FORGOT PASSWORD" tab and put in a new password.

The irony of that is, even if I change the PW, and allowed entrance when I log out and want to re-enter I have to change the PW again

I'm running Firefox 116.0.2 on Xubuntu 20.04.6. A day ago, it started loading at startup for no apparent reason. I don't want it to that. It's not my default browser, and it is not selected as such. It is not listed in any startup folders or in application autostart in system settings. I tried the winregister and auto update fixes using about:config, and no joy.

Does anyone have any suggestions? It's past annoying.

While Firefox is loading long, list-type pages, the scrollbar naturally expands in length. I was used to grabbing the scrollbar thumb, pulling it to the bottom (out of browser focus,) triggering further page-loading, and being able to repeat this by merely jiggling the mouse after each load.

Since the latest release (116.0.?), my mouse loses focus on the thumb on each reload, and I have to re-click on the thumb in order to drag down to force the next reload.

This has radically slowed down some of my regular web activities.

Is it something that can be (re)configured on my end?

Any website. File explorer window doesn't even appear. It just crashes instantly.

I am trying to my account to authy but after I scan the QR and type the code, FireFox say wrong codes. Authy worked fine with many other accounts so what to do ?

Is there any way to limit the storage space in cache2 taken by a particular extension? The Ghostery extension has nearly a gigabyte of storage taken up there on my system and shows no signs of slowing down.

I already have an overall limit on firefox's cache storage allowance. The problem is it's being monopolized by this extension.

It seems this is not a new problem. It just began today for me....

I am using the Firefox Multi-Account Containers addon with Firefox 116.0.2 (on apple silicon). I use the containers to isolate sessions from different websites. I have a container for my Instagram session. However, when I open a private browsing window and go to instagram, I find that I am already logged in. I thought private browsing windows were completely new and blank.

How is it possible that my instagram session is available in private browsing?

my Other Bookmarks is no longer in my bookmarks toolbar. I have two laptops and the other one is perfect. I tried sycing many times, I did a restore (which I shouldn't have) but nothing makes them reappear. While I can access these bookmarks from the menu bar, I want to see it in my bookmarks toolbar. It did not fall off into my customized overflow either. Whaaaatttt is going on? I need to put it back asap without spending hours trying to make this simple thing happen. Also, why did it disappear? And why won't a sync bring it back?

In Firefox, when I type 'news' into google instead of getting a list of links it takes me straight to the Financial Times website. Is this an issue with google or is Firefox being hyjacked?
