After a mistaken forced restart (inadvertent pressure on the shutdown/start key), one of the 3 windows I had open is invisible. It shows in the 'Windows" menu as one of 3 but when I select it - nothing. It does not show as a recently closed window in History. I have restarted Firefox multiple times, including deleting the xulstore.json file then restarting (a fix from another similar thread).

How can I restore this inaccessible window?

Firefox version 111.01 (64bit). I use a desktop PC and WIN 10. Since the recent update, I am unable to open Yahoo Mail consistently. I had trouble this morning and finally it opened. I closed it and tried to open it again but it wouldn't open. THIS IS THE ERROR MESSAGE:

"The page isn’t redirecting properly. Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies."

This is a SERIOUS PROBLEM for me. I must be able to access my email. Please repair.

I have note as have MANY others that bookmarks do not hold their place and randomly revert to the top of the list when the list is reacquired.

There have now been several updates to Firefox without a fix to this problem that requires immediate attention.

WHY hasn't this been addressed when many have complained about it?

Since the latest upgrade to 111.0.1 i am unable to copy and paste passwords from IT Glue.

IT Glue has a button to copy details to clipboard and when I do a paste I get [object promise]

I am new to Firefox and I have no idea if I have setup everything correctly to secure my PC? As a Pensioner I am finding this extremely difficult and have no idea where to or how to get to any of the pages in Firefox to check if I have correctly secured my PC? Please would someone be kind to take control of my PC and check for me please? I would be most grateful for you kind assistance herewith.

Since the update a few days ago, Firefox is crashing and some sites such as Trust Pilot, do not work at all on Firefox. I know it is Firefox because it works fine with Chrome. Even Google Search does not work right.

What is the problem?

bold textI forgot my primary password on my PC and I have my account synced with my phone and i still have access to my passwords from my phone. can I reset the primary passsword on the PC then re- sync it with my phone to restore all the login information? or would it also get deleted from my phone?

Prior to recent updates, Firefox tabs that were opened from a link on a webpage would always open right next to the current tab. Which was fine and wonderful. Sadly, following recent version updates new tabs opened from links now tend to 'wonder' off to the far end of whatever other links may have also been opened previously from that site. The problem with this new behaviour is that such tabs quickly become lost amongst the various branches of the tree as other links are opened in 'child' tabs of links that have gone before. In short, this new behaviour results in a complete confusing mess, especially as the newly opened tabs may end up so far off to the right that it's difficult to find the way back to the page they were opened from! Please could you at least provide an option so the user can set new links to open right next to the current tab, as they used to do, rather than some no doubt logical but nonetheless baffling and impractical location some 6, 21 or even more tabs away from the current tab. Firefox on my Mac updated today automatically, and I noticed all my bookmarks are gone. The bookmarks toolbar is there, all of the folders are there, but they are empty. I went to bookmarks - restore and they did not appear after restoring the backup from a month ago. These bookmarks marked several websites I'd collected through years of study. Could someone please help me recover these?

How can I fix or delete this erroneous post or may it be edited?

I can create a help page if it means anything to replace this technically and procedurally incorrect and misleading post. I saw it right away but for a newbie to firefox it could send them away screaming in frustration. A help webpage to address this question would be helpful and I can create one if needed. If I have Spotify paused in a tab, and i change to a different tab for even a second, when I return, it is stuck in a Firefox loading screen. I have to extensions that effect Spotify Browser player. This has been happening for about three or four days. Firefox is up to date.

Search on Sainsburys website returns wrong products. All other websites work OK. Search using Chrome works OK. Sainsburys said they would fix but have not. Any ideas?

I recently noticed in Firefox Settings the statement --- "Your browser is being managed by Your organization".

When I clicked on that statement and printed off the information, that information was apparently about "Enterprise Policies", the management is "Active", the Policy Name is "certificates", the Policy Value is "ImportEnterpriseRoots", and then it is "true". I do not understand the message that is being shared here. Does Firefox understand it? If Firefox does understand it, would you mind sharing your understanding with me?

What is "ImportEnterpriseRoots"? What is its function? Concerning the statement, "Your browser is being managed by Your organization", what is meant by the words, "Your organization" and what is meant by the word, "managed".

To rid myself of "ImportEnterpriseRoots", will I need to rid myself of Firefox?

I've been to several websites in the last couple of days that won't load in firefox, but will in chrome ( which I had to download to order groceries and I am not super happy about it ). the most egregious was today, I tried to order groceries from a major grocery store: meijer.com and the main page opened but if I like searched for "coke" it would freeze and nothing would load. not just coke, but also any other search term

Hi I'm trying to download large files but they keep failing due to problems at the host. I can resume the download when this happens but I don't want to keep doing this. Is there any way to auto-resume?
