This is the message I get when I try to access Kroger.com. It has always worked before and nothing has changed on my computer. No issues accessing other sites.

The latest version of Firefox appears to have updated a setting: When selecting a custom search engine in the address bar or search box, you now need to click the mouse three times (click the dropdown button on the left side of the box - select search engine - search); previously, after entering search terms in the search box, you only needed to move the mouse icon below the box to automatically display all search engines, and then click the desired engine to search directly, thus completing the search with just one click.

The old setting was very convenient; while the new setting forces me to click several times every time I want to search for a term in the search bar.

I hope the support team will address and improve this issue.

I'm trying to stop Firefox from restoring tabs after I restart my OS. So far, I've done the following:

• Disabled `Startup > Open Previous Windows and Tabs`
• Disabled all extensions
• Confirmed I do not have a `user.js` file
• Set `browser.sessionstore.resume_from_crash` to `false`
• Set `browser.sessionstore.restore_on_demand` to `false`
• Set `browser.sessionstore.resuming_after_os_restart` to `false` (It was already set this way.)
• Set `browser.sessionstore.max_resumed_crashes` to `0`
• Set `privacy.clearOnShutdown.openWindows` to `true`
• Set `browser.sessionstore.max_tabs_undo` to `0`
• Set `browser.sessionstore.max_windows_undo` to `0`

(I've since reverted the last two and the extension changes after they didn't work.)

So far, Firefox will not restore tabs on application restart (manually closing and relaunching) or on crashing (after sending SIGTERM/SIGKILL), but it still restores tabs after restarting the OS (if I allow the OS to kill it during shutdown). I've seen a couple suggestions to disable history completely, but I do occasionally refer to my browsing history, so I'd prefer a less-drastic approach. Ideally, I just want Firefox to treat the first launch after a shutdown as a normal launch and not apply any special behavior. Any help would be much appreciated!

System: Fedora 42 (Workstation Edition) Running Firefox 144.0.2 on Gnome 48.6-1.fc42

When I inadvertently press CTRL + R when entering text, it is VERY frustrating because the window refreshed and I loose all of what I typed! Is there some way to disable the CTRL + R combo so the window does not refresh?

At some point in the last couple of weeks, I've started running into very frequent crashes running Firefox in the Linux container on my Chromebook. It previously worked well, but is now unusable. I'm now running Firefox version 147.0.3 on Chrome version 144.0.7559.167. This is after I did a clean reinstall of Firefox using flatpak, which didn't help. It seems like it often happens when my mouse hovers over a browser tab or icon (eg account, extensions, hamburger). Other quirky display behaviour, which mayor may not related, is that videos are often not working (eg Youtube, BBC), and various browser windows (eg when selecting Manage Bookmarks, or restarting in safe mode), open a small size-reduced window. Hyperlinks keep opening in new windows, not in the same/existing window where they were selected. Issue is not unique to Google Search results and occurring across multiple websites. At wits end trying to figure this one out. I have deselected the "Open links in tabs instead of new windows", turned off all extensions, and uninstalled & reinstalled Firefox. Issue is still occurring. Attached is image of my tab selections showing all turned off.

How to edit shortcut keys for the extension- Read Aloud: A Text to Speech Voice Reader ?

When trying to assign a new shortcut of my choice, it gets deleted automatically.

I was able to do so in Chrome and Edge browsers.

Please help me to assign the same shortcut keys in Firefox also..

Chase website now requires Mozilla Firefox update 128 or higher to access accounts. My version says my version (115.30) is latest update. Do I need to find a different browser or is there a solution? I am using Windows 7 Pro desktop. Thank you.

All my bookmarks disappeared and the bookmark button does not work. I have refreshed Firefox - no change. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox but still no restoration of Bookmark button functionality. OS Win10

When I try to log on to a particular web page using my password, I get an error page. When I do so using the Private browse function it works. Following is the error I get: {

Thank you for your help. I have two questions and concerns. 1. The title bar of Firefox displays "Original Profile". I've been using it as is, as there aren't any particular problems, but it bothers me, so I'm asking if there's a way to hide it. My second question is: 2. In Firefox settings → Search → Search Shortcuts, unnecessary search engines are displayed. Even if I delete them, they reappear when I change the language in the settings. Is this a Firefox specification? Is there any way to prevent them from being displayed again after deleting them?

I want to cancel my subscription and get a refund but I already deleted my account. I read all the directions but can't find the links to make this all happen. I would appreciate some help. Than you,
