I just downloaded the new Mac Ventura update, and when I opened Firefox all my previous tabs opened up, but my Toolbar completely disappeared, as in there is an empty space for it, and they show when I click on Bookmarks, but not on the actual browser window. The same thing happened with my Add-on extensions, all disappeared, and they're not even showing in my library. When I tried to download them again online, every single one gave me a red error message "An unexpected error occurred during installation." Please advise what's going on and/or how I can fix this to get my normal browser back. Thanks

I have been using Firefox for a long time certainly all this century, I regret to say that you have done something to the system such that I am unable to get into online banking and on some sites I get a message something to do with a frame whatever that is. I regret to say that i have been forced to make Edge my default browser When you have cured the problem please advise and I will revert to making Firefox my default. Many thanks Graham Blackburn

So I've disabled Firefox updates because of the personal preferences. It keeps nagging me every day with the modal to update. How do I disable this annoying useless feature?

Firefox 85.0 on mac os.

I've tried searching "about:config" for all preferences that contain "update" and look like timers and changed the timestamps to something in the far future. Still no dice, the update dialog keeps appearing every day like clockwork.

I prefer old theme of Firefox, with smaller buttons, comfortable navigation, but I'm sure, that you have users who likes new theme with large buttons and new "tab style". So... How can I downgrade only theme of Firefox? Cuz it is reallllyyyyyy not comfortable these large buttons and not minimalistic style. I prefer simple style, not easy (:

Just updated to latest Version 89.0. Rebooting the PC all of Firefox's colors changed to terrible washed out colors. Reading other inquiries I tried running the extension "Firefox Colors" but it didn't help. How do I reset to original default colors? Sincerely, DDBob.

to keep things short im trying o find a way to revert to before the most recent update (89.0), the new layout and organization changes are more or less causing no end of issues for me both in function and causing my anxiety issues to spike from everything being unfamiliar and i need to find a way to revert.

somehow lost logins, passwords and all bookmarks. Uninstalled Firefox. Downloaded and installed new version. Doesnt appear to be the same. Anyway if i go to manage bookmarks they are in Library but how do I put them back on my home page please

Netflix quit working today. It said my browser version was no longer supported. I updated from v.86 to v.89. It looks like crap. New tab + icon is gone. "tab bar" is not transparent or dark mode. And guess what: Netflix still doesn't work. That's probably their problem but now I have no Netflix, weird crap on the whatever bar, add-on icons are gone, and this big gaudy tab bar.

How do I rollback to a previous version? I'd rather not have excuses or sales pitches as to why 89 is better from the newer-is-better crowd. For me 89 is NOT better.

So, how do I rollback to a previous version?

we don't like the 89 version. the colors are all screwed up. bad. we want the old version back. would you please turn it back to the old way, before 6-1-21? PLEASE?

I recently noticed that my Firefox appearance is different than it had been. The top header is white (instead of dark) and the space between lines in the bookmark list is excessively large. I have tried to find the source of this change by changing themes, but to no avail. This change occurred around the time that a new revision of Firefox was installed. Surely Firefox would not have made this change? I hate the appearance. It makes reading and browser use much more difficult. Any suggestions on how to get back the previous theme settings? And if Firefox did indeed make this change, then I say shame on you for doing so without the user's permission or providing an option to opt out of such a change.

The latest Firefox update results in incomplete windows. Scroll bars are missing, and the window close/minimize buttons are not visible. Refreshing Firefox sometimes clears the problems, but that is temporary. Sometimes the incomplete windows return. Thought it might be a conflict with another program, but the problem persists when that program was uninstalled.

Since Firefox last update it increased the top 2 toolbars(1 being address bar) about 100% taking up a good amount of screen. Windows shows no way to decrease the size so the Firefox update took away a lot of viewing area. How can I decrease the size to the way it has been or eliminate the last Firefox update? And no the browser will not decrease it by pushing it up.

Why does Firefox keep doing this? Why do they think they will impose their way of doing things and not lose a dwindling support base? Updated to v89, tabs had disappeared, briefly appeared at the bottom of the window (I had configured to be below the address... clearly, something FF developers don't like me having things my way)... Downgraded to v88.01... fortunately, I had run a back up to it this morning, so was able to restore the previous [profile with all my tabs, history etc....

Why doesn't FF understand, MOST people don't want to be futzing around with install, MOST don't like surprises, MOST don't like being forced into something they didn't even ask for, regardless of how cutsey FF developers their pride and joy looks...MOST people are happy to have updates for security purposes THAT DON'T MEAN THEY HAVE TO RE-LEARN WHERE EVERYTHING IS, MOST people just want to get on with their work with a fairly familiar environment... This update v89 just increased agitation and grrrrrrrrrrr factor to make me seriously ask: why am I even bothering with such a tool of a tool? NOT HAPPY... AT ALL!
