I have a mac powerbook G4 OSX 10.5.8 I USED to have a Firefox browser, but I got sucked in by an invitation to update, didn't realize that the circle with a line through it meant, "don't try to put this in your computer" but it must mean something like that because even tho I later tried to load a different update for a Firefox browser that said for mac osx10.5 or later, and that came up with a circle with a line through it too. How do I find the Firefox version that is compatible with my laptop? The old one was working just fine until I tried the update!!! Please advise.

When searching for something, a Search Engine called 'Delta' popped up. Despite ticking a box to say NO I didn't want it, I've now got it on both Firefox and Google. I've followed as many instructions as I could understand and removed it from Add-ons but IT WON'T GO AWAY. What on earth can I do to get my settings back to normal and rid myself of the dreaded DELTA?

(NB. Whilst trying to comprehend various instructions I disabled all my add-ons and now can't see how to enable them again.)

I am using Mozilla Firefox 3.6.3 on my computer. But a message keeps coming while I use Firefox saying "You may want to upgrade your browser. You're using an old version of Firefox that is no longer supported and may be insecure. To upgrade, open Firefox's Help menu and click Check for Updates..." But when I open Firefox's help menu, I can't see "check for updates" to click. What should I do?

I have Ubuntu 11.04 and an old version of Firefox. I want to update to Firefox 24 but do not know how. When I download the update .zip file it still does not update. Can anyone help?

Windows Vista. Support pages recommend uninstalling Firefox.

I tried that via the control panel but it would not budge.

So where is the uninstall\helper.exe? I can not find it.

Why is it still not possible to download the 64bit version of Firefox from getfirefox.com? Everytime a new Firefox comes out I have to search to try to find the FTP archives and download it from there. This is silly. The 64bit versions are readily available from Mozilla itself. See for example:

http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/25.0/linux-x86_64/

To make matters worse: The getfirefox.com site doesn't even see that I don't use the latest version. When I go to that site with my 64bit Linux build of Firefox 24, the site happily says I am using the latest version, even though Firefox 25 has been out for some time.

I just bought a new windows 8 tablet, and I need to use firefox for my school programs and things but when I try to download it the tablet says that there is no app for this and then sends me to the app store. I have searched the app store and found nothing. Is there a way at all for me to download firefox?

When I go thru the directions to install the plugin it only shows up to Windows 7. I have Windows 8. The media player works fine thru Internet Explorer, but I'd rather use Firefox.

Problem - I have an important viewing of my daughter's 3d/4d ultrasound this Saturday and I don't want to mess up my laptop by installing the wrong version and not being able to view it at all.

How to install and upgrade firefox automaticaly on more than 100 computers in corporate invoirment. (users without administrative permissions and very limited internet connections) Can we expect original firefox msi packages in the future, to install with Microsoft domain GPO? Is there any other solution for my problem?

Hello, I currently have Firefox version 16.0.2 installed on my laptop with Windows 7.

Every time I attempt to go to the update site (http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/) and click on the green update button, I am sent to the 'Thank you' page, and no download begins.

After that page, it attempts to redirect, I am assuming to the download; URL is https://download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-17.0.1&os=win&lang=en-US

I receive the following error: Unable to connect - Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at download.mozilla.org.

Please let me know how I can update my Firefox to the latest version. Many thanks. J. Ng

I have a Mac and I can't open firefox because it says "Profile Missing-Your Firefox profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible." Then I tried to delete it by moving it to trash and it says it cannot be moved to the trash.

Feb 26, 2013. I was using Firefox nightly channel (version 21 till yesterday) because I read here that Gecko 21 will be 64 bit. After the last update, Nightly became Aurora and when I downloaded and started the Aurora installer I realize it is a 32bit browser (because it was going to be installed in Program Files(x86) ) !!!! What channel features the 64bit Firefox?

I would like to uninstall Firefox. I may reinstall some time in the future. But I am cleaning my computer and would like to eliminate Firefox. I looked through the preferences and in my downloads and applications and could not find a way to eliminate it. Would you please send me a detailed simple process to eliminate it PERIOD... So I've been download a file which is 1.80 GB, I let it download overnight but when I checked it. The download stopped in 1.60 GB and I don't really feel like downloading it all over again.

I searched in Google for some ways to resume it, there are some that seems to be working. But when I tried, it won't work. Like the .PART method, since I'm using Windows 7 the incomplete and the .PART file won't merge (or whatever they call it)!

Is there a way to merge those two files? Or am I doing it wrong? Please help, I'm like 20mb-200mb (or whatever the leftover is) away from finishing that damn download.

i first logged on my computer and i clicked youtube. i logged in and click favorites so i can have autoplay on,but all my videos on youtube keeps saying "The Adobe Flash Player is required for video playback. Get the latest flash player". i downloaded the flash player like 10times and it still wont work. on my other desktop youtube works fine!! im confused.
