I wish to save my bookmarks in alphabetical order, first the folders and then any bookmarks that have not yet been allocated to a specific folder. This used to be possible as I gave reorganised the older bookmark folders are in alphabeical order previously. This seems to be no longer posible. I can reorganise them in View but cannot save them. Am I doing something wrong? Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance. text

i imported Firefox bookmarks to Firefox on another user account and i am not getting thumbnails! Both on bookmark's bar and inside bookmark browser :/

Many complex websites that had no problem till the latest version of Firefox don't load any more with the newest version. If this goes on like this I have to change my browser. I used Firefox now for many years but it looks like I have to change, as there are no problems with other web browsers (Opera, Edge, Chrome, etc).

Aren't there a lot of feedbacks like mine?

I've noticed lately that my Firefox keeps freezing and hanging up at random periods for no apparent reason. I have very few plugins and it even happens with them all disabled and removed. I've tried resetting Firefox to default everything yet it makes no difference.

Also I can not clear history. I've tried multiple different clear history plugins but none of them work at all. And when I try the traditional way of clearing Firefox history the window pops up and then the entire browser just freezes while 'clearing' and never gives me back control, I have to force quit and restart to regain control. And then when I relaunch the history is still not cleared!

So aside from the constant lagging and lockups it seems that any attempt to delete history whether using the inbuilt function or adding plugins messes up the whole browser.

Googling this issue it seems others are having the exact same problem with Firefox and yet any suggested solutions (reset browser) don't seem to be working for may of them.. Or me.

Please help me restore my browsing session :(

For the past several months I have been using Mozilla, and the feature to restore previous browsing session has always worked well. Even after I clear the most recent history or remove the most immediate cookies, this feature would still work e.g. after I restart my PC or just restart the browser. It would restore all the tabs I was using previously including the most recent tab I was on before the browser closed or restarted. However, this morning, I tried to clear my immediate browsing history as I usually do and the browser froze while I was in the process of clearing this immediate history (continuously displaying the pop-up window/interface for clearing history and not allowing me to do much else on the browser - I couldn't even click anything on the tab I was on, nor could I navigate to another tab and/or open a new tab; and only the close button, and maximize window button, and minimize window buttons were responding). After waiting for a while for it to start working again, I got frustrated and I closed the browser.

I then opened the browser again, but this time, it didn't restore the previous browsing session and didn't even take me to the last tab I was on.

What could have happened this time around? It has not behaved like that for this whole year.

NB: I have not done anything to the browser after opening it! I am still on the same page it landed on when I opened it (just in case).

Hi, As far as I know, Firefox hasn't recently updated but somehow my address bar is now below the tabs. I have searched everywhere and can't find a solution. Searching shows that this has been happening repeatedly for years with people having to go as far as adding code to configure it. It has never happened to me until the change appeared randomly today. Am I missing something, or has the option completely (and pointlessly) disappeared? Please point me in the right direction to restore the position of the address bar. Thanks.

Whenever I go to a Google page (tested on Google.com Docs, Sheets, Forms) the page crashes. The issue started sometime around this afternoon.

I would like to know how I can middle click with my scroll wheel to open a bookmark in a new tab, but not be dumped straight into that new tab. I like opening multiple tabs at once before going into them.

Since yesterday any streaming services such as Netflix or Hulu will only have green screen for the video. The sound will come through just fine and subtitles. My Wildvine is updated, I've toggled the DRM on and off several times, no changes. My browser has been checked for updates. Not sure what else to try at this point.

When attempting to update my Mozilla account from my Firefox settings, I was unable to add my secondary email address because of an error message stating that the secondary email account exists...

Repeating this action in case of a bug resulted in being locked out of that particular window.

I have no idea what that error message means, nor how to circumnavigate it. Please help!

I find that OneNote Web Clipper extension is not available for Firefox now. I'm sure it used to be. Why is it not available and is there a workaround to be able to use it still in FF? Windows 11.

Yesterday Firefox started closing at random, sometimes instantly as soon as I open it. The crash dialog doesn't open, and if I go to about:crashes my most recent unreported crash is from 2019. Tried refreshing, reinstalling, completely wiping all profiles and starting fresh. If I use troubleshooting mode it won't open properly at all. I am at a bit of a loss, any ideas?

Why is when I leave multiple windows open with multiple open in the windows, the next I go to look for the window it's closed. Sometimes it happens when Windows updates, sometimes it doesn't.

Why I'm asking this question here is ridiculous! I never get an answer. Anybody else had a issue with this? Is there a Browser that doesn't do this, I'm fed with FireFox!!

I use a VPN connection to access my workplace. This means that all my DNS queries MUST go through the company's VPN tunnel.

Firefox is deliberately blocking my work. The DNS over HTTPS "feature" does not work over this VPN connection.

In Firefox, there was previously the following setting: Preferences > General > Network Settings > Enable DNS over HTTPS

I REALLY NEED to have this setting restored right now.
