I see where other people have posed this question but the procedure offered is not available to me.

I am using Firefox (Flatpak) version 121.0 on an Ubuntu 22.04 laptop.

On installing a new extension I should either see the extension's icon on my toolbar or else have a clear means of adding it. I have neither.

Clicking on the jigsaw icon in the toolbar, I get migrated to the about:addons page. On clicking the Extensions tab, I get the screen listing all installed extensions. Each extension has a ... icon beside it. But when I click on this, there is no "Pin To Toolbar" option.

What is wrong here ?

Yes, I know addons exist for it but many work places don't allow installing addons, security wise they can be a concern and these addons have poor UI/UX. I am genuinely considering using Edge over Firefox due to them having better tab groups which I never though I would say. Please implement a simple tab folder, literally just what current Edge has. It is a very useful basic feature and I would really love to have it included in my favorite browser I have been using for over a decade. Thank you.

The Add-ons Manager tab is automatically presented as one of the tabs when I start Mozilla. How do I configure Mozilla so that the Add-ons Manager tab is not presented?

I am having a hard time getting accustomed to the Firefox scrolling experience. I am only using the touch pad and the touch screen. When I release the finger the time it takes for the scroll speed to come to a halt is way longer than on Chromium browsers and uncomfortable. I want to configure this to decelerate faster or to remove the smoothing completely.

I have tried playing around with scroll configurations and I found that setting apz.gtk.kinetic_scroll.enabled =false disables smoothing correctly, but only works for touch pad, not for touch screen.

- Is there some config I am missing to disable this kinetic scroll using touch screen? - Is there a preference where I can halve the time it takes to decelerate, rather than disable it completely?

I am running Ubuntu 22.04 on Wayland if that makes a difference.

Preferences in user.js are added permanently to prefs.js and persist even after user.js is deleted. What if you want to specify preferences in a file, just like with user.js, but you don't want them to be made permanent? In other words, so that when the file is deleted, the prefs will be forgotten. Is there any way to do this?

Firefox crashed, Reinstalled it v121.0.1 Win Pro 10 (x64)

Although Extenions are reinstalled, I cannot find any way to get them into a toolbar now, (Using the Drag - Drop - Shift method)

There is supposed to be a "Gear alongside each extension" so that can be chosen, but no gear which works now.

Very frustrating as cannot properly access these extensions now.

Some time ago, I found the way to inser these Extensions (Addons) into the Toolbar, but cannot remember how I did it.

The Extensions show they are installed and "working" but it's rather useless nmot being able to get the shortcuts for each onto the Navigation Toolbar.

Hey, since the new update (121.0.1) the new tab button isnt on right from the most right tab. With customization the button can only be put on the far left. Is there anything i can do?

I am using Firefox on a new PC. Whenever I type something into the address bar, all results appear under a small Firefox Suggest header, even though Firefox Suggest is not available to me in the United Kingdom. I believe it is possible to remove this header through about:config, and I did so on my old PC shortly after FIrefox Suggest was released in 2021, although I have long forgotten how to do this for obvious reasons. Could somebody please explain how this header can once again be removed, or is it a permanent feature? Thank you in advance.

I have been using Firefox for years and never encountered this problem. I changed the theme to dark but it made some websites unreadable, so I changed it back. The problem is some websites did not register the change. I cannot use these websites anymore with your browser, and I would prefer to stay with Firefox. What can I do? I have changed the system settings and Firefox settings. Nothing has helped. I have gone through your troubleshooting advice and googled various topics to figure this out. Nothing. It is frustrating, especially when one of the broken sites is my work portal. This cannot continue, so I will be forced to change browsers. I use both Mac and Windows computers if that helps. It is the same on both.

I tried to follow this theme's([https://github.com/PROxZIMA/Sweet-Pop.../Sweet-Pop]) installation guide. After I installed it the userChrom and userContent css files have been updated and the result was that the browser header has been changed but the homepage/newtab's UI hasn't been updated. I enabled toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets option in the about:config section. Did somebody have similar issue?

Current version of Firefox on Windows 11. Menu bar hidden when Firefox started. I have tried every setting suggested and understand how to turn it on, but next time I start Firefox, menu bar is hidden again. Reinstalling Firefox -- no joy. Restarting in safe mode -- no joy. Help!

As the title says when I am using the video player on Coursera website I am not able to hide the control bar while on fullscreen mode (even if I don t move my mouse for more than 15 seconds). I ve attached a screenshot with the control bar being displayed. (also the captions are overlapping with that control bar) I ve also tried different ways of opening the fullscreen mode (click on the "Full Screen" button or by pressing 'F'). I don t have this problem on websites like YouTube.

With color perception limited vision, I cannot distinguish default colors for visited/not-visited link colors. I tried changing colors in Settings via:

Colors / Override FF's default colors for text, website backgrounds, and links:

I changed the colors to what suits my needs BUT just changing those colors ALSO put focus(?) lines around various texts and randomly changes colors elsewhere in arbitrary fashion making my changes unacceptable. What am I doing wrong?

I am not stupid, but I do not understand the langauge used in describing "modifications." It would be useful for people in similar states of lack of knowledge to have at least maps/legends of web pages explaining the arcane language of webs.

why doesn't my theme stay engaged?I have 4 computers and I am constantly having to engage my fav theme on them all all the time.
