I saw no difference when enabled.

Is it possible to spell check the entire web page using both Hunspell built-in dictionaries and user-defined dictionaries *.dic, already prepared text in Firefox. As it is done in text editors like Libre Office (also uses Hunspell) but for web site, checking the text from top to bottom with errors in a separate window, so spell check is not only in the text input/search field.

This question was already posted and badly answered in 2016. Now things have changed a lot and Firefox DO try to translate everything which is quite annoying to anyone knowing more than a single language. No extensions related. I need to completely disable that. My firefox is up to date: 118.0.1 (64-bit).

I use a theme which some years ago (after a change in the way Firefox handles dark-mode preferences) changed all UI and websites to use dark-mode. I was able to keep using the theme, and mostly override this behavior by setting:

`layout.css.prefers-color-scheme.content-override = 1`

However, this didn't take for some components, such as the sidebar and bookmark editor window, which still continue to use dark-mode.

Is there any way to completely disable dark-mode everywhere, and still use my preferred theme?

New addons on Firefox become blank on restarting the browser.

They return when I manually disable and enable them once.

How to fix this? Doesn't happen to older addons.

I have been working on a locked down version of Firefox, and through userChrome.css and mozilla.cfg, I have been able to do get it where it behaves mostly as intended. We are looking for a way to disable the ability to print to PDF within the print dialog in Firefox. There are concerns about the ability to access the dropdown selections within the save as dialogs, that could allow users to access files they should not have access. We don't want to outright disable the ability to print, as printing to a real printer does not cause any issues. Is it possible through the mozilla.cfg or userChrome.css to remove the option to save as a PDF from the Firefox printer dialog?

when i try to use my banking app the payment section shows page not found. bank chat person said it was extensions in my browser. i downloaded firefox , i guess it has extensions too. can i disable the extension or extensions that cause this and which ones do this

I have the problem that every of my most visited sites are loading normal fast except for YouTube.

YouTube needs about 2 to 3 seconds to load the site itself and the thumbnails like "lagging" pictures which are rendering real slow while my other most visited sites like Twitch, Reddit or Twitter are loading in about 1 second or less. (i have installed the "Page Load Time" addon to check that).

I have only installed uBlock and nothing else.

I looked for a way to remove apple maps from being the default Map when I search using Firefox on windows 10. Its not helpful since half of the info isnt listed and I would like google maps instead like it had always been.

since today the Addons "uBlockOrigin" and "Ghostery" are not anymore working in Firefox. In Chrome all works fine.

When i load a YT-Video, i got an Ad, the Video is black, i see nothing but i hear the ad. This is since today and i never encountered that.

Someone can help me with that?

Hi, i have problem with uninstalling uBlock Origin i cant remove them from extension tab. I tried refreshing firefox, reinstalling, opening firefox with troubleshoot mode and still nothing i dont know why is so difficult.Even when i reinstalling firefox this addon onstalling by itself even when im not logged in.Please help me. Hello, I recently used my MacBook Air to connect with a projector for a classroom presentation. The presentation was using Google Slides. I adjusted the settings to optimize the presentation--setting the navigation and bookmarks bars to hide when in full screen.

I normally use my Firefox browser in full screen mode, but have the navigation bar and tool bar visible.

I cannot figure out how to undo what I did so that my navigation bar and toolbar are visible again when I am in full screen mode. Indeed, when I move the pointer to the top of the screen to make the navigation bar and toolbar visible, I cannot move the pointer back to the navigation bar or toolbar without it disappearing again. Essentially, I need to undo full screen mode.

How can you find the place to compose and send an email. This may be the 16th time I've asked. Used to be on the header of the email listing to compose. You clicked it and a form showed up. Now there is no place you can send an email unless you go to the list of all the emails you've ever sent and then send from there. If you have a new email person not on the listing, can you install an app on the header above the inbox email or somewhere like we used to get before you changed the appearance of how the emails look. Hi, so here's the issue I have: Lets say you have 20 tabs open where the "tab scroller" becomes active and tab#17 has a video, if you enter & exit fullscreen on that tab then tabs #18-20 will slide to the right and go out of sight. This is quite annoying as I'd prefer all tabs on the right to be visible until I manually scroll to the left.

I tried googling for about:config or userChrome.css solutions but couldn't find anything, does anyone have any ideas on how to change this? Thanks.
