I have a bookmark on my bookmark toolbar, that when I open the bookmark has no highlighted star to allow me to choose to remove it. I open the entire bookmark list and it doesn't even show in the bookmarks list. How can I delete this off my bookmark toolbar? It's like it doesn't exist but it's front and center showing up. It does work and go to a valid web page. But I don't want it on the toolbar. And can't find a way to get rid of it. I've cleared cache, restarted, updated, etc. Nothing works.

I posted this problem back when v.80.0 was out. It was later fixed, but now it's back.

Loading an external bookmark as the default start page in v.83.0 and using it as the default bookmark (file:///C:/Mine/Testing/BOOKMARK.HTM) creates an error.

The error is that clicking on any url in the bookmark to visit and then clicking the top left arrow to return will always bring you to the top of the bookmark. It used to bring you back to the same location on the bookmark. Now, it brings you back to the top of the bookmark. Thus making it necessary to scroll back down to the location (url) you just visited. Really annoying to have to keep do this in order to return to your original location in the bookmark.

Hope someone can help again.

When I open a pdf document in the Firefox pdf viewer, and I open the find bar to search for a phrase, the "next" and previous" arrows skip matches. "Next" takes you to match number 6, then match number 11, and so on. You get every fifth match. This is a real hassle with a very long document. How can I get it to work the usual way, and take you literally to the next match?

Using Windows 10 laptop, Firefox 82.0.3 64-bit. When I sign in to Onedrive at onedrive.live.com using my personal account (not work or school), I open Word document in Firefox browser with "Open in Word Online". When I click on Dictate button to use the microphone I get error message saying "Problem with Dictation. We don't have access to your microphone. Please check to make sure your browser has permission to use your microphone." HOWEVER, in the address bar, next to the shield and lock icons, there is another icon that looks like 2 keys in opposite orientation, that when clicked shows the site does seem to have permission for the microphone.

If I then sign out of Onedrive, and then sign into it using MS Edge and open same document, the microphone DOES work.

The microphone also works on other websites accessed with Firefox

Seems like Firefox is blocking the microphone on this one site.

Can't open the Firefox browser after starting my laptop computer--get stop code error message

When I start my computer and try to open Firefox, I get the blue page with the message: "Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're just collecting some error info, and then we'll restart for you." This message indicates it's a stop code SDBUS internal error.

This only seems to happen with the Firefox browser, which I have set as the default browser. This does NOT happen when I open Microsoft Edge.

My laptop is an Acer Spin 1. I have not been able to update Windows 10 because the Windows Assistant says I don't have sufficient disk space. I'm currently running Windows version 1703.

I have another old Toshiba Satellite laptop, and I have no problems opening the Firefox browser, although this laptop operates very slowly.

Thank you for your assistance.

Security settings for my bank account allow three choices for verifying identity: every time I log in, every time I open the account, or just whenever the bank needs to know. For the past decade, the third has been in effect. But starting in September, even if I click on option 3, every morning I once again have to prove identity.

In discussing the issue with the bank I was told that it was because I clear my cache every night when I shut down. I said I had been doing that since 2015 without a problem - why the change? The bank tech support guy asked if I accessed the bank web site through Firefox, and I said I did. He said that, being an open source software, Firefox issues far more technical updates than any other browser, and one of the recent updates must have changed the system of how cache and cookies are cleared.

I then went into Firefox Preferences and it appeared that I can allow specific websites to continue active while other websites are cleared. I tried to do that last night with the bank website, but to no avail. This morning I had to, once again, prove identity through phone message.

Just to confirm: since 2015, I have made no changes to my computer system (iMac and MacBook), kept the same Internet service provider, used the same anti-viral software, and cleared cache and cookies daily. All that time, I could open my bank account daily without proving identity each time. Les than two months ago, that suddenly changed. The bank says it's likely the browser. Any thoughts?
