Could you add more sorting options to the bookmarks toolbar.

My preference of listening to music on youtube has been to add the songs as bookmarks and using the bookmarks toolbar.

For long i have been irritated i could not inverse the order of them, so when i tried to tweak with it for a bit i clicked the sort by name and quickly learned there is no other controls than that. This might be kinda niche but still applys to many types of usage and i feel is pretty basic. I would like the possibility of making the the bookmark toolbar to sort invertedly from date added. I strongly think this already should be a thing and was quite shocked to learn it was so archaic.

Another Windows update, another instance of Firefox bookmarks being inaccessible :-( "The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because one of Firefox's files is in use by another application. Some security software can cause this problem." Now what? What are we supposed to do? Is Firefox doing anything about this problem, since it's become a regular occurrence? Help, please!

I am trying to organise my Firefox bookmarks into folders on my Mac Studio. However, when I try to use the highly-touted "just drag and drop advice" it does not work. It doesn't work in the drop down and it doesn't work in the bookmarks manager. Drag and drop functionality works elsewhere on my Mac just fine.

Note, if I open every single bookmark, click on the blue star, then re-assign the folder it does work. However, that it a mighty pain in the arse.

Since I know it will be asked...'yes' both Firefox and my MacOS are up-to-date. And 'no' I haven't upgraded to Tahoe.

I would appreciate any help that anyone can offer. Thanks!

I reinstalled my computer from scratch with Windows 11, before this reinstallation I had Windows 10. Now I noticed that with the newest Firefox version 109 (that I also had before with Windows 10) and Windows 11 my multirow bookmarks toolbar doesn´t work anymore. Before the reinstallation it worked with the following code:

I already tried some other codes that I found in the internet but none of them worked. I have this code in the file userChrome.css, this file is in a chrome folder and this folder is in my profile folder. Can anybody tell me what I have to do to make the multirow bookmarks toolbar working again?

My favorites/bookmarks has too many duplicate saved web sites on it, How do I remove the duplicates? This was not of my doing most have been repeated on my favorites bar/list 3 or more times. I am not sure how to delete the duplicates and not the originals. Can anyone Help me with this?

I have multiple "instances" of all of my bookmarks in my Library--specifically, the Bookmarks Menu, the Folders within that menu and all of the individual bookmarks within each folder. (See attached; I'm just keeping the Bookmark Menu level but trust me, each one of those 5 instances has the exact same list of Folders and associated bookmarks.) I just want to see ONE instance of them in my library, not all of these redundant instances. When I delete ANY bookmark or folder in ANY of the multiple instances, ALL instances of that bookmark or folder get deleted. Searching the forums, I get solutions for combining duplicates, or backup/restoring bookmarks, or "turning off sync." But none of these relate to my issue (e.g., sync has never been on). They don't act like duplicates (where if you delete one the other remains). It acts as if there are multiple "pointers" to the same menu/folder/bookmark.

Can someone please assist with how I can get rid of the redundant instances/listings of the Bookmark Menu, folders and bookmarks without deleting all of them? I'd ideally like to keep the first one, underneath the Bookmarks Toolbar, so it shows up at the top of my screen.

Hello. I haven't been able to find anything of the sort on my own, so i fear maybe there is no actual way other than doing it one by one. But, is there a way to add all of my currently open tabs in firefox android app, to my bookmarks (or collections, maybe), instead of having to select them one by one? Or, in its defect, a way to select all tabs, given that there seems to be no button to quickly select all currently open tabs? At this point, if anyone knows a firefox extension/add-on that works on mobile that could do that, i would deeply appreciate it.

Thanks in advance, i just want a way to not have to select my 100+ open tabs by hand since it genuinely seems like a waste of effort for me and i would rather spend that energy into migrating to another browser altoghether.

Hello, I use the Manage Bookmarks / Library function a lot. However, it drives me crazy that the library always opens at the folder: Other Bookmarks/BSP2 trash folder . . . DO NOT REMOVE! I then have to navigate up to find the folder I need. This gets really tedious after a while.

Is there a way to get the library to open at another folder, preferably the most recent folder?

my windows 10 PC was saving my bookmarks perfectly and storing in bookmarks after pressing the "save" star (star turns black) until dec 4 but its no longer putting them in the bookmarks menu anymore even though star turned black? then also after numerous attempts to no avail a "edit" pop up came up and after pressing that it did not even come up with the drop down "save" option just a big nothing. I hover over bookmark folder, they expand, and the links the folder contains work. (Or) now 80 percent of the time, I hover over the bookmark folder, they don't expand, so I click on the folder to expand it, and 90 percent of the time, the links in the folder do nothing when clicked on. They won't even get highlighted, (selected) I restart firefox, and all works again, for about 10 seconds, and problem occurs again. It goes without saying it gets real frustrating restarting firefox over and over and over again to use another bookmark. I've never experienced this before. This only happens for me on firefox for Linux Mint 22.1. Firefox on windows 11 does not exhibit this problem. Please help, thanks. Cheers...

I have lost all my Bookmarks - they have the same name, but the icon & address is wrong.

• This is on-going = I cannot Bookmark without it occuring.
• I have attempted to restore to a previous point, but the issue did not resolve.
• This occurs over all my synced devices. (I have now stopped Firefox syncing.)
• The incorrect icon & address is from a 'trusted' site (ie. national govt, email provider etc) that I have previously visited, but never Bookmarked.

Please help as I use Bookmarks professionally & have built an excellent database over many years.

Apprantly Firefox updated last night. I still show all the names of my bookmarks but NONE of them have any information in them. Probably lost my passwords too.

Tried all the fixes shown in prior posts. This is unacceptable !

I cannot figure out how to export my bookmarks from Mozilla Account. On the desktop browser when I open "Manage Bookmarks" and select Phil's Bookmarks, I am able to export the bookmarks from the Mozilla account.

The resulting html export file does not contain the bookmarks from Mozilla Account. There also does not seem to be a way to export those bookmarks from your online Mozilla Account interface.

How do I export the bookmarks from my Mozilla Account?

The computers bookmarks after September 28 and before December 1 2023 are missing as well as the internet history in the mozilla browser only. I see no possible way of restoring them. I see no way to contact mozilla directly about this either.
