I got a new tablet and synced my Fire fox but did it from the new device so it removed all my pinned shortcuts from my other computers. How can I recover my shortcut settings? What is the correct way to sync other devices to the one you have as the main one?

I used to have about 40 quick links, or bookmarks on my home page. I had pinned several. Others appeared according to how often I used them. The latest update deleted all but 3. I am very unhappy. How can I get rid of this update and bring back my quick links? I guess I will have to go back to Brave.

So, i am having two issues. when i click on notification icon fiverr.com the tab freezes. Also i am not finding the refresh firefox option in troubleshooting. i am using ryzen 9 8945hx with 5070.

Bonjour, Je vous contacte par rapport a firefox. Mon problème étant que la dernière version de firefox sur mon ordinateur ne fonctionnait plus du tout. J'ai du désinstaller l'ancienne application et installer la nouvelle. Mais j'ai tout perdu, y compris mes mots de passes, mes marques-pages, etc... Pouvez-vous m'aider s'il vous plait, c'est urgent ? For the last couple of days, the address bar on the web apps that I've installed to my taskbar has been shrunk to about a third its usual length. I don't have flexible space put anywhere on my toolbar, and the problem is only on the sites I've put in the taskbar, not in regular browser windows. Is there a way to fix it, and get it back so it reaches all the way to the extension icons?

I'm using Firefox 147.0.1 on Windows 11, Version 25H2, Build 26200.7623, if that helps

When I opened a new Firefox page it contained links to more or less interesting articles in newspapers. For some reason I had to reset Firefox, now everything works fine again. But the links to articles are gone and I have no idea how to get them back. Any hints?

I used to go to bookmarks right click hit open in new tab and the bookmarks tab would stay so I could open more sites in separate tabs. Now when I hit open in new tab on a bookmark the bookmark tab closes so I have to keep opening it to open additional site?

Had trouble getting Bookmarks to look like I had on the old disk. I reinstalled the old disk and went to FireFox and downloaded the Bookmarks in a HTML file on a memory stick. Shut system down. Reinstall the new SSD disk and tried to "install" bookmarks under Manage Bookmarks, but I could not get the Bookmarks to show up on the space below the main Search HTML box. And my most recent websites found are now ABOVE the main Search HTML box. And ABOVE that is: "Get Support | Mozilla Support...... " It just all looks/feels different. I think in the old Firefox days, the line below was called Bookmarks Toolbar ? I can live with this, but I've spent 45 minutes trying to get 'the old way'. Now on that line below the main Search HTML box is also "Other Bookmarks", where I used to keep any site that was not on Bookmark Toolbar. Now this "Other Bookmarks" contains only one Tab called "FireFox Privacy", not any of my old "Other Bookmarks", that I thought I "Imported". I wish that my saved file that I "Export Bookmarks to a HTML.." did, when imported, that I would have been asked "Do you want your Imported Bookmarks to be installed exactly the way you had them when they were Exported?" Also I was on Linux Mint 22.2 on the first disk and also on Linux Mint 22.2 on my new SSD disk.

Somehow yahoo became my default search engine and when I do a search I get the same advertisement that blocks the entire landing screen, how can I change it back to google?

i hate the fact that my camera does not working chat group or otherwise ion Firefox and facebook. can not connect to family why does firefox not try to do something to fix it it used to work with facebook but now no ' even when i stop all extensions the camera does not work i have reinstalled the camera and it does work so why does my camera not work in firefox and facebook

I rebooted Windows. Firefox seems to have been updated. But a firefox installer was downoaded. This behaviour is stange an suspect. Do I have to re-installa firefox? Why?

When I try to save a bookmark, or edit a bookmark the bookmark window comes up normally but then I try to change the save location it jumps to the left of the screen and does not allow location changes but closes out the window (not changes saved).

using linux cinnamon, have to continuously sign in to my sites. I didn't have to do this before. what can I do to stop the cookie deletion or whatever is causing this??

Why are the minimize, maximize and restore buttons not visible?

Sometimes these buttons on the browser window appear, and sometimes all three buttons are not visible. Never had this problem until recent Firefox updates somehow affected this. I cannot tell which update was unaffected since, but this is an ongoing problem and the browser window is blank with no buttons on the top right hand corner. The only solution is to use the file menu and select exit from the list. I may have to open and close Firefox several times until the button icons are visible again. See example screenshots.

P.S. I'm using a 32" monitor if this helps.

Two step verification is set up on all my email accounts via webmail - Verizon/AOL, Gmail, and Yahoo. I never set it up, and when I go in to the mail applications' prefererences it's turned off. But when I try to sign into any of my webmail sites it insists on sending me a code and I have to go back to Thunderbird and open the emails containing the verification code. I specifically go to web mail because spam folders aren't available in Thunderbird and I need access to the spam so I can turn it in to Spamcop. (Mac desktop, OS 15.7.1)
