Hi Team,

I am having issues logging in to my Firefox account to sync the browser.

"This profile was previously synced to a different account

To keep your data organized and secure, each Firefox profile can only be synced to one account. To sign in using [email removed]@aftc.co, create a new profile."

When I go to the all trails site, I get a blank page, with only the words, "Please enable JS and disable any ad blocker" I checked my settings, and my ad blocker in Firefox is disabled. I cannot figure out, in my settings, how to verify that my javascript is enabled.

i need to change my email since my old email go hacked, so i dont have access to my old email anymore. i still have access to my account since i am logged in on my phone and desktop. I have backup authentication codes if that helps. Codes are getting sent to my hacked email which i dont have access to.

I have an icloud-account, a google-account, three facebook-accounts, two gmail-accounts, an outlook-account. How do I simpify the system, and how do I transfer data from one facebook-account to another?

The alert message appears everytime I go back into gmail This browser version is no longer supported. Please upgrade to a supported browser. I checked that Firefox was last updated Feb. 26. So I'm understanding what's going on. thanks

A few weeks ago, I started to get repeated messages from Firefox asking me to make Firefox my default browser. Firefox has been my default browser for years, and I have never made anything else my default browser. Anyway, I followed the prompts and re-selected Firefox as my default browser. A little while would go by (sometimes as little as a minute) and I would again get the prompts to select Firefox as my default browser. This append 20 or 30 times. And, every time it happened, all of my saved passwords disappeared, but would reappear when I re-selected Firefox. In the last week, this situation has gotten a lot worse. Now, the saved passwords don't come back. And, the prompt you usually get when entering passwords to a new site offering to save the password doesn't appear any more. So, the only way I can rebuild my saved passwords is to enter them manually, which I am not going to do because it would take a couple of hours and then I'm pretty sure they would all disappear again. Also, I like to go to my homepage when I open a new tab. Can't do that anymore. When I open a new tab, I get a new private browsing window. I have checked all my settings a dozen times, and they are correct. I have combed your support sites and there is nothing there to help me. I don't want to dump Firefox, but I cannot continue with it behaving as it does now. Is there anyone anywhere in your organization who can help me? Thank you.

After a recent change the browser scroll always goes to the bottom of the page. Before it was always at the top of the page. I found no way in Firefox to reset this function.

I don't plan to use any provided AI chatbot. I want to use models that I have downloaded and tested myself and which run on my PC. So please add the possibility to connect through major LLM APIs, the same way other tools way simpler than Firefox already allow to do.

Firefox will only start if I sign in as an administrator. It doesn't connect to the internet, and I can't get to the help screen. I did a refresh but that hasn't help. If I uninstall and then reinstall a new copy correct the problem? How do I save and reinstall my bookmarks and settings? I love Firefox and prefer it over other browsers. But I need to fix it and any help you provide will be very much appreciated. Thank you!

Hi, After updating to the latest version of Firefox on my laptop, I’ve noticed that the battery drains much faster than before. I haven’t changed any settings, but the browser seems to consume more power even with just a few tabs open.

I’ve already tried:

Restarting my laptop

Disabling unnecessary extensions

Clearing cache

But the issue is still there. Is there any specific setting or workaround to reduce battery usage in the new update?

I use Firefox app in macos, android and ipados. The bookmarks across them are not synching automatically. I need to press sync manuelly to do. All apps are updated, all settings look fine. Please help me synch bookmarks across platforms. Thanks a lot.

I'm using Firefox as my default browser, and I saw a link preview for YouTube (on tumblr, if it matters) that displayed the message 'Your browser is deprecated. Please upgrade' instead of the actual video title. What does this mean?

Hi, I am using Firefox exclusively for my work Claude account, I only check my usage on it. Today, I noticed Firefox silently installed a webapp under $USER/AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/Windows/Start Menu/Programs, and it has a Claude webapp, which I neither click any install or add to my menu. I found it extremely concerning in terms of privacy, and I am wondering if any other people have similar experience.

Recently I've had this issue (on reddit) where after I expand a video in the feed, and start scrolling, all the visuals freeze.

I know it's only the visuals, because I can still interact with the website (usually unexpand the video, or pause it) with the image still frozen and audio still playing.

I can fix it by tabbing firefox down, and then up again. While researching I found the profiler, and finally managed to capture the moment it happened.

I'm no stranger to technical stuff but it's a loooot of data to process, I did a "clean" profile recording as well where I did the same action and where it didn't freeze, and I can't really make heads or tails out of what the issue is.

The recording managed to capture the phenomenon and I only clicked twice during that period, to expand two reddit expando videos, the second one is what caused the issue when scrolling. The only thing I see is a spike in memory usage

Not sure if I can (or should) upload the profile recording here or what, but it's been bugging me a lot.

It's pretty tricky to replicate because it seems to be random when and what triggers it, even expanding the same videos doesn't replicate it. Sometimes I go days without it happening, sometimes it happens 6 times in a single session.

I've added some screenshots of various views of the profiler/stack data.

I have an Nvidia RTX 5070ti GPU, hardware acceleration is on, AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor.

I think I might have enabled some rendering settings in about:config, maybe it's related to that but I don't remember exactly what.

Maybe it's due to some windows "game optimisation" or the GPU and CPU-GPU fighting?

I have no problems watching videos while playing games or anything though.
