Ever since the last update, I can no longer watch recordings on xfinity stream with Firefox. What happened? Can I fix it? I sometimes have to start watching programs late, but they wont play while recording. I can watch those same recordings when they are finished, but not while they are still recording. I can watch those same recordings while recording on Chrome and Safari so it's not an xfinity problem. But for some reason not on Firefox anymore Is there a setting I need to change? Thanks Ron

Firefox just updated to 157.0 and will no longer open PDFs in a default viewer even when I change the settings. My setting say they are set to open in Mac Viewer, but continue to open in browser. I even tried to set it to open in Adobe still opens in my browser.

The new theme is terrible, but after choosing the grey option, it's usable. My problem is it resets for no reason. I don't use Firefox's home page, but that is the only place to change the theme of new Firefox. WHY? I have been a Firefox user since it was called Phoenix, and this recent change might finally break me.. Floorp is looking really good these days.

After the last Firefox update, I can no longer open download files (PDFs) from websites in Mac Default Viewer. I have tried the other settings such as open with Adobe, Ask, etc., but they continue to only open in the browser. For work, I download hundreds of documents from a county site, so having them open in my default viewer when I click the link was very useful for a productive work flow. I have tried to open files with my viewer from other sites, but it fails with those too. My tech team tried to help but seems to be a Firefox issue. Settings - Downloads - Files and Applications - PDF - Use Preview (or anything else) is not working. Firefox 157.01, Apple M2 Pro, Tahoe 26.6.2.

additionally, i cannot use my mouse anymore to speed up scrolling through my favorites. also, i deleted a folder from my favorites, but that folder still shows up in my favorites.

Hi - Just recently (within the past week) I've been running into several issues with Google Drive on Firefox, namely that it doesn't recognize that I'm online so I can't open or edit documents. When the pages do load during brief moments of connection, the page never fully loads and the little dot on the tab continues to move back and forth, showing there's still more to load.

I've tried the following with no luck: - clearing Firefox cache and cookies - signing out and signing back in to Google Drive - restarting Firefox after doing each of the above - restarting my computer - checking to make sure I have the most recent Firefox version (I do: 157.0.1)

I am able to log into Google Drive in Chrome and have no issues at all. Also, I'm not having this issue with any other websites. Do you have any guidance for me? I really don't want to move over to Chrome, but my entire job requires Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.

QR code for BankID loggin and KIVRA (in Sweden) is not visibel when I use latest version (157) of Firefox. When I use Firefox version 152 is it working. I have a mac OS version 10.15.8. What could be the problem?

Since the last update, I've been experiencing some issues with Firefox on my MacOS. Visiting website such as beatport.com and spotify.com, for exemple, after click on "play", Firefox does not play the sound or video. The same happened with other websites with webplayers.

The problem is on Firefox version 157.0.x (tested on Macbook Air and Mac Mini, same MacOS version).

Bring back my access to the Artstorefronts.com website. I do business with them, they carry access to my website: Onenessofbeautyandsoul.org. Are you blocking it, or is it someone else?

The access to the email I used to sign up for my Mozilla account was revoked without warning earlier this year. I can't change the email address because it insists on sending an authentication code to the email address that no longer exists. There doesn't appear to be a way around this.

After my macbook pro (Sequoia 15.7.7) restarted, every tab in both of my open Firefox windows were moved to a *tab group in a single window.* The tab group's name is the date—e.g., "2026-10-11 10:50 *". Right-click + `ungroup tabs` does nothing. If I open a new window, it automatically has a tab open in a tab group with a similar name. I can't move tabs into new tab groups. I hate this. I've lost all my previous tab groups, which I use to organize my work and hobbies, and now that's all gone. I've experienced this on TWO macbook pros. I also have a Windows 10 desktop, but that continues to work as expected.

Months ago, I disabled all AI features, and, and so in `about:config`, I can observe that `browser.tabs.groups.smart.*` are all set to false. I also just tried setting `browser.tabs.groups.enabled` to false, but it had no effect.

I see a long list of recommended Badges and/or Extensions. I tried clicking on one but nothing happened? When I find an extension that sounds good, what steps do I take to add that extension to Firefox?

I am trying to sync my account from my Mac to my phone but it's asking for the code from my authenticator. I do not have Mozilla set up in my authenticator. How do I get the scan?

I've used extensions etc. to change this but nothing works. It's not even defaulting to the last folder saved in. Instead it stubbornly keeps using an odd folder I never selected for this purpose.
