I tried to Connect Dropbox to my desktop, but the page would not load.

Chrome has no problem loading the page.

Could someone please let me know if they have the same problem

WHERE IS MY BOOKMARKS TOOLBAR??? Every time I update Firefox (now 109), I end up with all kinds of problems! NOW, I can't see my bookmark toolbar. All the help articles tells me how to show it or how to bookmark a page, which I already did multiple times. But this issue is never solved. If I can't get this resolved, I'm going to MS Edge.

Firefox saves files that I only wanted to open with another application.

I checked the previous solutions in the forum, but they did not work for me. (Windows 11) I changed in system> general > download , applications > the app to open that file type and it works, but besides this Firefox keeps saving the files in the default download folder.

I tried also about:config browser.download.improvements_to_download_panel to false. browser.download.start_downloads_in_tmp_dir change to true No change - still saving copies.

Certain fonts are displayed not as what I set them to in Firefox's settings.

At first, I thought it was a windows OS font related issue- it's not.

I've followed everything here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1323130 (The answer support link is inaccessible. But following the answer did not fix my issue.)

Also looked to see if any of my add-ons are affecting it. I've disabled them on the sites (in the screenshot) but the fonts are still displayed as attached. Checked to see if the add-on uBLOCK is disabling remote fonts, that feature is not checked so that's not the issue.

Hi, I've been trying to transfer from Chrome to Firefox but have been experiencing a graphical error with primarily the toolbar in Google Docs. The places where icons should be denoting what each button does are empty - I do not have any extensions, plugins, or themes installed that would be causing this. I did install the Dark Reader extension to see if it would show icons when using it, which it did not. It actually is not exclusive to the toolbar, as drop-down menus that would normally have icons do not either. I tested in both Microsoft Edge and Chrome and this issue does not arise on either.

While Docs has been the primary issue, it persists across all Google Drive apps (Sheets, Slides, Drawings, and more). My version of Firefox is up to date and I am on an HP laptop running Windows 10. If anyone is able to help diagnose the issue at hand or direct me to another support thread where this issue has been resolved, it would be highly appreciated. Thank you so much!

My wife has a desktop and a laptop. She wants to move 2 or 3 folders only, not the whole thing, nor merge ALL the bookmarks. Lets say 2 of the bookmark folders are called "Eyes" and Birds. She wants to copy those 2 folders, with their links inside the folder from her desktop FIREFOX and want to add them to her laptop FIREFOX Bookmarks Toolbar. Add them, not replace any of the bookmarks on the laptop, not overwrite anything else. How do I copy a folder from one FIREFOX running computer and put it on a USB drive to then ADD to the Bookmarks Toolbar on her laptop? I can right click and choose COPY but then when I try to "paste" the "paste" is greyed out.

I am very unhappy after 2 weeks using the current version of Firefox 109.0.1.8427 on Win 10. Most of my prior add-ons are gone or do not work, even though Firefox shows them as installed.

I can't live with this version; most of my prior add-ons are not accessible (no symbols to click on even though Firefox says they are installed). The others are missing or require me to access the application menu plus several more clicks, instead of single-clicking an icon on the Firefox header.

How can I get back to the prior version (without having to determine and save/restore everything else that changed in my Win 10 sysres since the current Firefox was installed)?

Hello! When I turn on firefox in my laptop it always opens in small window, so it is very annoying and it happens every time. I know that, when I reset firefox to fabric settings, problem will go away, but for a couple days only and again it will be. So do you have any idea, how to solve this problem once and for all? Thanks!

I don't know why but sync button is not appearing in my Firefox settings (image attached). I guess it's because something I've done in settings that has cause this to disappear. Can you help me? Thanks!!

When changing the primary password I would expect the logins.json file being rewritten with new pairs of encryptedUsername and encryptedPassword (now encrypted based on a new primary password). But this is obviously not the case. But maybe I just didn't understand the way this works?

Bonjour, Depuis une semaine, j'ai ce message à l'ouverture de ma page d'accueil Orange, avec Firefox !! PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR il n'y a qu'avec mon navigateur et pas sur Chrome ni Edge. Avant, j'étais le seul impacté par ce problème et maintenant les trois P.C de la maison le sont. Deux W11 et un W10. En déconnectant le VPN le souci n'existe plus. Merci d'avance pour votre aide.

None of this works.

1. There is no key: "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\HTTP\shell\open\command" in the registry.

2. Went through the registry and changed the values of the following keys: .htm, .html, .ttt, .htw, .htx and hxx and every entry to their reference to: "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" then rebooted.

3. After each registry edit and reboot windows10 took a long time to come up with lots of disk activity. This tell me the windows changes all this back!

4. So, how do you fix this??????

When I open Firefox it's just a black page and anything I click on isn't responsive. I can't go into options or anything. Sometimes Firefox doesn't even load. It worked fine earlier than all of a sudden It stopped working today. Web pages don't load. Nothing works

I seen a post earlier that had a link to a supposed fix but I couldn't figure it out. So if anybody is able to help me it would be much appreciated. I am not an advanced user when it comes to Firefox

I have never used a primary/master password. I updated to 109.0.1 on a computer that had not been used for a few weeks. I do NOT sync FF on any computer. "Use Primary Password" is NOW checked on this 2nd computer. (never used or needed before) In order to try to change this, I was required to enter my password. When I enter the password I use to access mozilla support (the only FF password I have ever had), nothing happens and I do not get any options, i.e., forgot password. I have never been requested to enter a password on any computer (to access FF; only to reach mozilla support.) On my primary computer, "Use Primary Password" is not checked, as it should not be. Good morning, I have strange issue. Websites on my Manjaro Linux (GNOME desktop enviroment, using Wayland and Xorg) are not displaying correctly. Sometimes there are white fonts on white background-color, sometimes black fonts on black background. Sometimes where the bg should be white, it is black. I have Firefox Sync between my firefox browser on Windows 11 and Manjaro. Every setting in both browsers are the same. I tried to follow the instructions, like removing history, cache, cookies, turning off hardware acceleration etc. I just have no idea what to do now.

Hello, Not sure exactly where the problem lies with this one. We have a local UrBackup server running, exposing its http-only web interface on http://hostname.local.domain:55414.

I can no longer browse to this address, Firefox responds with

Secure connection failed and the error code SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG

Looking at the GET request, the scheme is set to https and there is only one request, no redirect.

I can however access the site fine by IP, http://192.168.x.x:55414, AND, by using hostname only, http://hostname:55414, letting Windows fill in our DNS suffix as the network is in an Active Directory domain.

I also have a local Apache server running on my machine, only listening on http on standard port 80. Accessing http://localhost is fine, accessing http://myhostname is fine, but accessing http://myhostname.local.domain again causes FF to switch to an https-request.

What makes me confused is that this behaviour is consistent across browsers, Edge, Chrome, Android on my mobile...

Using Bitdefender for AV/FW, disabling it makes no change.

Tried downloading an older version of Firefox (89) and it does NOT show the same behaviour, URLs load as plain http.

Finally, I tried to add test.subdomain.com as a zone in our DNS and add an A record for the IP of the UrBackup-server, and voila, Firefox requests that site as http without complaining!?

Has the global browser market collectively decided that non TLD:s can no longer be accessed using http, or am I overlooking something obvious?

EDIT: I originally included "false HSTS-requests" in the subject, before realizing that this came from FF redirecting to 443 on my local machine, which has a docker instance listening on that port but using a cert for our public domain, not our local one.

I'm wondering if anyone can help me here. I use Google Fi to make and receive calls from my browser. I accidentally denied microphone permissions to Google Fi from the Firefox dropdown prompt and I cannot find how to get it back.

When I click the dropdown menu, I see no options to enable or disable permissions. I also do not see anything listed in the Security settings of the browser. When I check the google fi settings, I see it complaining about denied permissions though.

I've attached screenshots. Does anyone know where I can revoke the blocked permissions?

I have been trying to get a "media print" to format as I wish it to do so by using the widows and orphans CSS rules (among others). So far, regardless of the values assigned, the resulting print output still has widows and orphans.

Are those rules actually implemented in Firefox?

Win 7 64 bit. 109.0.1 (64-bit) I have two admin user accounts. On number two when I bookmark a page it automatically puts a folder on the toolbar.

in number one it puts in the bookmark pull down [where you click Bookmarks from the menu bar] and I can create a folder on the toolbar if I want. I want.

I do not want all boomarks to be on the toolbar but want the toolbar shown as i want to be able to add a folder

Every time I start the computer or reboot and open firefox I discover that it isn't the default browser, as reported in the firefox settings menu. I then go to Defaults apps in control pannel settings and set Firefox as the default which sets the default to satisfy the setting menu which then reports that firefox is now the default browser. The next time I turn on the machine or reboot and check the settings menu I discover that firefox is not the default web browser. How do I set firefox as the default browser permanently so that I won't have to do this each time I start the computer? Thank You.
