after my laptop crashed (again did so over 100 times) but this time all history is gone, could not restore last session/s - can't log into my accounts (any) - can't set it to an earlier date (e.g. yesterday) to eliminate whatever the problem is (am not an IT expert, so I don't know how - just know that it is possible) - I have tried for 4 hours - no avail - I really need the status of 4-5 hours ago so I don't lose so much

Unfortunately I now have Windows 11. My bookmarks have just disappeared today, so how may I restore them? I understand that Firefox stores my bookmarks, so can I restore the same bookmarks when I had Windows 10?

Firefox update did not fully complete. All bookmarks have been lost. I did not have a back up file. Can I still get them back? It's still asking to finish setup and has not completed.

What happened, All my important bookmarks are missing. I have had to log into every account I have, No saved passwords. Really upset. I need help to restore all this information that I need

Mozilla installed an update and WIPED all my passwords.

Also removed all links on my Firefox screen.

Now sticks the link every site I visit on the Screen!

How do I get them back?

How do I get Mozilla to never do such an asinine act again?

some STUPID profile pop up occurred .... please choose .... I did than I LOST ALL of my browsing history and bookmarks !!!!! How do I recover ????????????????

Hi, I unwittingly reset my password without using a recovery key just now. My account had one recovery key in use but I completely forgot where I put it and I overrode it by skim reading through the warning before changing my password because I didn't remember it.

Thing is, prior to performing a clean re-install of my laptop, I didn't backup my appdata folder containing my firefox profile. The latest backup I have is from three months ago. I might be able to lay hands on my recovery key later today, but I need to know whether there is ANY hope of accessing that data on a server somewhere or if it's been wiped, definitively. I'm very upset because I had like a few hundred tabs and bookmarks.

Hi folks, I restarted Firefox today on my Macbook and now the Restore Previous Session option is no longer working. I've tried the Sessionstore fix described here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-restore-browsing-session-backup but it is not doing the trick. I've used it multiple times in the past and it has always worked up until now.

I've since opened a couple of new tabs and then shut Firefox down to see if the Restore Previous Session will bring those particular tabs back. However the Restore previous session remains greyed out. I suspect it may be to do with the latest update to 149.0.2. I downloaded and installed that two days ago, but only restarted this morning so I think the update would have been done then. Are there known issues with this update, and is a fix coming? So I am on a Windows Surface. I have been using Firefox. Lately a few times it went wonky and it did it again today where it would open a million windows and I couldn't close them or shut the app down. So I attempted to uninstall it. But it gave me an option to do a Refresh, which I tried but it didn't work. So I had no choice but to uninstall and reinstall it.

That's all well and good. But now I have lost years of bookmarks. DAMN!!!!! This is my work computer and I need to find a way to get all my bookmarks back. Is there a way to do it? Maybe accessing history or something?

I had to use Microsoft Edge to download the new version of Mozilla Firefox so its asking me if I want to transfer my data from Edge. I never use Edge. I like Mozilla Firefox but I am so in trouble if I cannot access all my bookmarks with important pages that I have saved. Darn.
