hi, i have a dozen extensions that i wouldn't mind keeping in case i want to use them sometime, though i know you're supposed to keep extensions to a minimum to avoid complications and slowness. Does disabling add-ons avoid the problems just like deleting them altogether would? thanks!

In version 98, a change was made so that the download panel always opens every single time any file is downloaded. I have found that I never, under any circumstances, want or have ever wanted this behavior, nor do I ever ever serendipitously benefit from it. It is continuously annoying. How do I defeat it?

Hello Firefoxers,

The topbar of Firefox always was black (see screenshot 1).

Since the last ipdate (yesterday) it changed from black (my favorite) to white (screenshot 2).

Whaterver I tried (Themes and so on), I did not find the solution).

My hope is that anyone of you can help me out.

My computer crashed today. On restart, Firefox looks different. I'm sure I had a theme or add on installed prior to the crash. But I don't have any memory of what it was. Is there a history I can look at for that? If so, how do I access it? Thanks.

I downloaded the "new" FF and now all the text is blue and red (not black), I cant see the control buttons on YouTube, and in general, having page appearance problems. Any tips on how to make the text Black, etc. Thanks

How the issue started: There is an issue where firefox sometimes freezes when copying an image from discord. I'm pretty sure this is on discord's end since I think it also happens with chrome and if an image does it it will always do it. Anyway, I froze firefox via that bug. I force quit it. When I reopened it, I had the issue described below. The issue persists after a normal quit and reopen and over a full computer reboot.

The issue: I'm not entirely sure how to describe it. If a box is supposed to be black or grey, it's max white. Every box, including bounding boxes around controls, even the fill bars on videos to make them fit the aspect ratio. If it's supposed to be a transparent completely bounding box, it's full opacity, if it has partial transparency, it has the same opacity it's supposed to but is white. This doesn't break black or grey pixels in images, nor does it break text, it only breaks boxes. My suspicion is that firefox's graphics driver has its fill function broken or something? I'm not sure but the issue makes firefox incredibly difficult to use.

Please help ASAP. This makes firefox incredibly difficult to use. I don't want to switch back to chrome, but I will if this is not resolved soon because of eye strain.

Hello Community; Hope someone can help. Other day my Mac Mini (I'm using an LG monitor as the computer screen) automatially downloaded the latest BIG SUR update (11.5.1)...since that day all my FIREFOX 91 (64 bit) pages are displaying incorrectly!! It almost looks like I'm in SAFE MODE--but I'm not. Gmail has all these little highlighted squares around all links and folders and many colors on my web pages aren't even displaying! (The pages are white!). I have tried a myriad of solutions...everything from clearing the cache to yada yada yada...and STILL FIREFOX is "acting out" so badly that I had to bite the bullet and switch to using SAFARI! Does anyone else have this current experience? Today is 8-16-21...this is a current problem. If you have any solutions please I would love to hear them! Thank you Steven Orr storr54@gmail.com

all the websites look weird. I've included a screen shot of youtube for reference. Disabling add-ons didn't fix the problem. I uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it but that also did not fix the problem. I haven't tried deleting my user data because it's a bit of a hassle to get it all back. Let me know if there are some other things I can try.

It looks as though Firefox has not download the style file - all webites look old-fashjoned (or simplified or 'basic'). I've upload a screenshot of the BBC website.

Firefox 91.0 macOS Sierra v 10.12.6

Hi, I just installed Firefox 91.0.1 since then every page background as lost any color and I cannot tell any selection I need to make.

I was encouraged by Firefox to do a Refresh today, I sincerely, sincerely regret it. Afterward, I've tried all I can to restore my logins, etc., but nothing is working!!!!! Every time I close and reopen, NOTHING IS SAVED. I read and tried out all the troubleshooting methods of restoring my data, but for some reason nothing works, once I close and reopen.

I recently upgraded to Monterey, which may be relevant, and can no longer open all bookmarks in a folder by right clicking. This is inconvenient. Any suggestions gratefully received.

I frequently use the various 'take a screen shot' actions previously found by selecting the page action list icon - (3 dots on the right of browser bar)suddenly all I have visible is my bookmark star icon. Is this an update/removal or is there a way I can recover that feature?

Several web pages no longer display properly, sample attached. Tried Firefox Refresh which completed successfully but did not resolve the issue. Notably these same pages display just fine in Safari, a browser not nearly as much to my liking as Firefox. Wanted to send a screenshot of the whole page but size was too large so partial image attached. URL is https://asgca.org/architect/atull/

After upgrading to Firefox 91.0, a few websites don't display properly. For example, the Washington Post Crossword Puzzle page does not have blacked out squares, nor does it show were the cursor is located. What settings do I need to change to get back to the pre-91.0 display?
