Well, I guess I have to part from Mozilla. For a long while it was so good, but lately ...

I have recently updated to Firefox 100. I am now getting this message on a page "You are using an outdated browser. Please upgrade your browser." I have confirmed I am up to date.

The "update you browser" has a link to "whatbrowser.org", which I believe is run by that horrid business, Google.

Has anyone struck this problem? Is there a solution?

I have closed Firefox & re-opened, I have rebooted the computer. No change.

Whenever I use web-applications that use WebGL or anything similar, they are always distorted. And yes, I have tried disabling Performance Settings, but that only slightly helped.

I've had Firefox issues for months now. It started after the update three updates ago. Firefox would take 10-15 minutes to load, I often couldn't load websites even after it had loaded....except for a couple of nights recently I've been able to use it flawlessly. Like right now. It's almost 11pm and it's working. I've been through the clear the cache, check if the extensions are slowing it down etc. routine. So why is it working now? It probably won't work in the morning, it didn't work last night, but it worked a few nights ago and again tonight. I'm sorry this sounds so strange but I don't know what to do. I've had to use a different browser for a while but would love to come back to Firefox again.

I have moved from Centos Linux to Rocky Linux and could not play Perron FM on onlineradiobox.com whereas I could on an Ubuntu Linux machine. It turned out I had to install ffmpeg (dnf ffmpeg) on the OS to support the right codec. The error was (in Firefox developer view, F12): HTTP “Content-Type” of “audio/aac” is not supported. Load of media resource https://onlineradiobox.com/json/za/perronfm/play?platform=web failed. Hope this helps someone.

Some of the scripts are not loading or working properly, like clicking boxes and notifications on some sites. Most recently this happened on the New Statesman website, I doubt they haven't optimized their site for Firefox. Previously I encountered this on Gerogetown University's Management System platform, which according to IT should be fine with Firefox. I removed all the extensions, cleared the cache and cookies, tried troubleshooting mode, even reinstalled Firefox to no avail. I accept all cookies. Settings are default. The issue is specific to Firefox, Edge works fine. Please help, I don't want to migrate back to Edge.

I uninstalled Mozilla VPN after poor performance. Now Firefox will not connect to the web although other browsers work (Edge). A new tab page loads but without any news, etc. I have uninstalled Firefox and reloaded it several times without effect.

I use a mac, Mac OS 11.6 Firefox 93.0

With all the two security option enabled, Safari works fine, TOR works fine, Firefox has massive issues with loading pages speed. Some of the Firefox settings: Network Settings: the DNS over HTTPS is OFF, as I am using a VPN Privacy and Security: set to standard, but there is no difference is loading speed when switching to strict Extensions: I use 1password, multi account containers and user agent switcher; no difference is loading speed if I disable or remove all extensions

Any idea why is Firefox loading page speed effected?

So I was reading manga and the top fifth of my monitor went white. Full white. Non-interactable. Almost like it's not there. I can't access task menus or bars. No tabs. No search. Nothing. Uninstalled and Reinstalled and problem persists. Cleared cache and cookies.

HI I am using win 10 with the latest version of firefox. Yesterday when I booted into windows and started firefox it promptly crashed. I had made no changes either to the system or firefox in several days. Since then I have been unable to get it started except in safe mode and am therefore unable to enter troubleshoot mode. I tried my previous restore points but system restore failed with each one. I have run malewarebytes, adwcleaner and a couple of other programs but they all found nothing. My drivers are all up to date. As a last resort I did a clean uninstall of firefox and manually deleted the firefox folder. I downloaded a new installer from your site only to find that it crashed during install. However, using safemode, I did get it installed but it still crashes in normal mode. Basically what happens is that some images download and upload as a mess of vertical stripes. One of the images is what happens when i try to change my pfp on my email, and the this (i couldnt get the image to upload here) is what downlaods when i hit share here.

i am currently working in Kubuntu 20.04 with Firefox 95.0 (64-bit). I'm not sure how it started but slowly whenever i close a conference (closing a conference includes exiting audio or closing the tab entirely. and this has happened since about a weeks or so), such as google meet and all, Firefox crashes and opens the crash reporter or something. i have reported this several times but I'm not really seeing any fix or causes. if it helps, here is the link for the crash report - One of the crashes i have reported i have two add-on installed- Tab Auto Refresh and Ghostery – Privacy Ad Blocker Do let me know if you require any other information regarding this.
