Hello, I ran into an authorization problem after restarting the application. For example, I installed firefox and log in YouTube, then closed firefox. And when I ran it, I had to log in again

MS installed the latest firefox version and it has made all my backgrounds black and text white!!! I hate it!!! I can't read much on many sites.

Please help me get rid of this latest install.

After the last update the format of my Wells Fargo accounts page is screwed up. I tried microsoft and my phone and they are both ok so it has to be something with Firefox last update because it was ok yesterday.

Recently I have found that I frequently have to "clear all history" in order to have various websites work properly. Example: Facebook and my on-line banking. Occasionally when I try open my on-line bank I get the message saying it (Firefox?) cannot find any account information, or it will display some but not all of my account information. In Facebook, often now many drop down items will not work such as deleting a post, or none of the post pictures will display. It now seems that it is happening more frequently and has become a real pain to clear history and then reload a website. I never seem to have this problem using another browser, which leads me to believe the problems lies with Firefox.

I am becoming very disenchanted with Firefox and am considering using a new browser on a regular basis if this continues.

So why is this happening, and what is the solution to fix this monumental problem?

Had to reverse the psychology of the answer to get the actual answer.

ANSWER: Turn on Remember History.

I'm not overly interested or concerned about trying to be anonymous on the internet and I certainly don't even expect TOR to do it for me without running Linux and running a virtual private session or whatever, if my mom cannot access her email account for the umpteenth time that month I just want to open a new private window and just log in.

I just bought a new laptop and the link above was the top result for the exact same issue. The "helpful" links in the answers were equally unhelpful, see above paragraph. The answer is erroneous, condescending and frustrating.

Years ago I was loathe to switch from Netscape but eventually moved to Firefox, I had zero intentions of ever signing up for a firefox account but maybe it's the bitter argument that I've just had with an ex but the answers so infuriated me I had to post this response.

If you're going to treat everyone like an idiot, at least answer the question. I couldn't care less if I get flamed, too old to care. I never understood the unwritten but mostly written rule of necroposting, but if you're going to archive a post remove it from search engine results too and yes, I understand search engines aren't obligated to follow such rules.

But I also know why noone does this, search engine results bring visitors. If you're going to give me the moral high ground set the rules in whatever robots.txt meta tags or http headers people are using nowadays to block indexing archived posts and have the archived results searchable via internal search but we all know very few sites are going to do it.

I lost my passwords & logins when FF suggested I refresh!, which I did. No errors, Does it keep a backup copy somewhere? Bookmarks are still there,..>!

WIN 7 PRO, FF 95.0, I am a techie, but I can't SYNCH either from another networked computer!

I have a 2015 Dell alien using Microsoft 8 and have been very happy with it. Recently my PC had a problem and went into a "self repair mode". This has happened before with excellent results. This time some things are missing. Most noticeably all my Firefox stored passwords. I really depend on that wonderful service you created as I am in my 70s and cannot keep all those passwords straight.

My question, after all that, is can my passwords be retrieved? Does Firefox use a cloud to retrieve passwords in case of something like this? Please save me hours of work and worry.

Firefox has been my go-to since I herd about it several years ago on NPR radio

edited email from public and search/spam bots view and fixed a formatting issue.

I just lost all my old tabs. I tried the 'restore session' function and all I can get is the single tab. Is there any way to go back to my session with all the tabs? Thanks

ARRrrrrrrrr, my worst nightmare.....Logged into FF to make a new folder inside one of my bookmarks to add new software only to find the folders empty. All the folders in some of my bookmarks are there it is just that they are all empty. I have many years of work in these bookmarks now lost. Is there a way to find them and bring them back’?

I did think of deleting my FF account and re-installing it but was afraid I may lose the rest of my folders inside my bookmarks. I changed over to google and luckily my folders are still there, unless I get my folders back, I will be switching and ditching FF to google MM

I just installed firefox on a brand new Windows 11 PC and Firefox continually crashes. I did a clean install and still I can't go a couple of minutes without a tab crashing.

Suddenly stop working/browsing any website but once I close and open the browser it's working normally. I cleared the history, reinstall the browser and delete the folders in user profile related to browser but nothing works. please assist.

I subscribe to a publication called Nikkei Asia. Their site is asia.nikkei.com.

I get regular e-mails from them with headlines. If I click on these to 'READ MORE' I cannot because the login box doesn't appear.

To access the content of the publication I have to log in, using the login box that appears on the first page of the site. BUT using Firefox, which is my regular, default browser NO login box appears.

If I use another browser (e.g. Safari) the login box appears automatically.

So what's the problem. This is an important news site for me so if I can't solve this, I will probably switch my default browser to Safari.

Any idea what's wrong?

Hi all, due to the sometimes quite rude tone in the german forum, I dare to ask my question here: Since the last update to FF 95.x a few weeks ago, I have this strange behaviour with some fonts, as e.g. Manrope, Lato and others (mostly from Google). Parts of the types are white (refer to the screenshot). I'm using Mac OS 10.15.17. Is this a known issue - and is there a remedy? Thanks so much, Martin
