Hi there, When accessing history for today, selecting everything with CTRL+A then copying the selection with CTRL+C the only data copied to the clipboard is the URL [Location]. I have Name, Location & Most Recent Visit selected on the header ribbon. I am not using any clipboard utilities so I imagine it's pure Firefox inspiration. Is there a special trick for making Firefox recognise the PC standard CTRL+A and/or CTRL+C? Thanks

hello, i searched a bit and refreshed FF, started in FF in safe mode(currently in safe mode), shifted to work offline then shifted back, as possible solutions. No proxy is selected in network preferences. All that did was make it so whatsmyip.com now says no proxy when it said proxy in use before. it's showing las vegas as my location this time. My real location is hawaii and all my other browsers show this. The "problem" is months old. I have to verify that im not a robot regularly, and certain sites give an error 403, (iirc), but work fine with safari because it isn't using a proxy. Is it possible there is some sort of malware causing this? mac os10.12.6 FF88.0.1 (64bit)

When I go to some sites they don't show some of the information. I tried in private and in troubleshoot mode both don't show the information. For example when you go to https://www.freepbx.org/downloads/ and click on the button to download, the form that you need to fill out don't show. I will include 2 attachments to show the deference.

Since the start of the day, Firefox has been constantly crashing constantly. Usually when I try to click / open / load a new tab or page, but sometimes just leaving it open causes a crash. I've tried to reinstall twice, but no luck. Safe Mode also did not help, so I assume it has nothing to do with add-ons. I also did a "Refresh" but, again, nothing. I did a full system scan (BitDefender, if it matters) but it did not detect any malware. Lastly, I restarted the computer and Firefox still constantly crashes.

Hi all,

Every day for the past month or two, Firefox has been gradually using up memory until my computer freezes and I have to restart the program. I'll admit I can have 80 or 90 tabs open sometimes, but using chrome on my laptop this really isn't a problem in the way of memory.

Firefox on the other hand will gradually open more processes and use up to 11gb of memory before I have to close it. I've checked the built-in performance graph (image attached) and it doesn't show any of my tabs using anywhere near that amount of memory. However, when I open the Windows Task Manager (image also attached) Firefox is using a baffling amount of system resources.

I can't simply close a few tabs, either. If I close all but three tabs the memory usage will hardly drop, only when I fully restart the program does it return to a 'normal' state for a while.

Would appreciate any help anybody can provide.

As above, for last ten days or so I have had repeated crashes. Refreshing and reinstalling have not made any differences. This has been very frustrating and I have had to resort to using Microsoft Edge which I do not like. Crashes happen frequently on Facebook especially if I play Quiz Plan with a friend. Prior to the last ten or so days, crashes were infrequent. Please help fix this p[roblem.

I have been having trouble accessing several Medica websites and am unable to log into my account. We can’t connect to the server at auth1.wip.medica.com. There seems to be some compatibility issues between Firefox and Medica.

This is being categorized as privacy and security issues since every other search I've done for such issues point to plugins or datamining/cryptomining viruses. I've done every possible scan for my system for viruses and nothing popped up, I've browsed Explorer manually for all the files and any possible anomalies, and nothing strange has come up.

I've attached an image of the specific process that is doing this. I would like actual help, not just "check your plugins" or "run an AV scan" or something of that sort. If it's an obvious troubleshooting step, I've already tried it to no avail. Not trying to be rude, I just don't like "support experts" that give super obvious advice when it's clear the asker already has knowledge of it.

Some further clarifications:

• Once ended through task manager, the process does not run again until I reboot my computer.
• Forcing it to shut down through the task manager does not close my firefox if it's open, nor does it affect it in any functional way from my observations. This process is seemingly entirely useless, which only further raises suspicion.

Bookmark toolbar always worked and I could turn it off or on but always left on. But now Bookmark Toolbar doesn't show and when I click on it in Toolbar options the check mark won't appear but Menu Bar still turns Off and On when I click on it. Restarted computer before this happened because trouble with mouse pad and got notice about Firefox 89 update but closed it because prefer Firefox 88 that has smaller Bookmark and Menu Toolbars

I have noticed that my Bookmark in the Bookmarks Toolbar sometimes requires 2 clicks to load Reddit.com. This is the only Toolbar Bookmark to exhibit this behavior. Every other bookmark I have loads the page after a single click of the icon on the Bookmark Toolbar. It appears the browser makes no effort to reach the Reddit site (could be an issue with Reddit.com, but it really appears FireFox just does nothing after the first click).

I first noticed this several months ago (maybe as long as a year ago), but assumed I was just missing the button. I have since ensured I carefully single click directly on the icon, no dragging, yet it still sometimes does not load Reddit after the first click. Very often it requires 2 clicks, as the first was totally non-responsive.

I have many Bookmarks on the Bookmark Toolbar that I use regularly. Reddit is the only one that exhibits this behavior.

How can I correct this behavior?

I'm a user slowly trying to wean off of Chrome and getting accustomed to Firefox as a new primary browser. Something that I've relied on quite heavily in the past was the use of the address bar's autocomplete function to get me to frequently used websites - in this case, the Subscriptions page from YouTube. I have attempted to fiddle with the options available to me, but it seems that no matter what I do on this browser, I am unable to have said page show up when I type in "y" - instead, the homepage for YouTube is the first thing to show up, which I explicitly do not want. I cannot permanently remove this by way of pressing Shift + Del, as it always reappears. I am positive that I have visited the target page (Subscriptions) enough that it should show up as the top result, and I am also positive that I have not visited the YouTube homepage, as I intentionally remove it from my browsing history if I ever accidentally access it. I have tried turning on/off different combinations of settings in the Address Bar options menu under Browser Privacy, I have attempted bookmarking the page to have it rise to the top of the search settings, and I have attempted the use of an add-on which blocks websites from appearing in search results (which unfortunately did not extend to the search results directly from the address bar).

I am grateful that this minor irritant is one of my only outstanding gripes with the browser at the moment, though nevertheless, I would like to know if there is any way to further customize the address bar dropdown results to prioritize websites I have actually accessed before over their root domain.

I am not able to play videos on the BBC website using Firefox. The videos won't even load (see screenshot). I deleted cache and cookies, but still no result. What should I do? Thanks. Edit: I have also tried on normal privacy settings.

I have a WordPress site that has recently been moved to a new server and had some updates done to it (new version of WordPress, new version of plugins, etc.) However, we've noticed that there are times where the page will hang on the loading screen. Typically, a refresh will fix this and allow the page to load.

The reason we believe this to be a Firefox issue is that:

1. The issue hasn't been observed on Chrome.
2. When running the Developer Tools, there is no noticeable difference between times when the page hangs on the loading screen and times when the pages display normally (as seen in the attached screenshots), which seems to rule out server failing to deliver content.

I've been changing this over many years. Now I have two additional browsers to use so I'm not updating until I can, once again, organize the browser to fit my needs.

there are some websites that FF sometimes cannot load them or if it load them it keeps showing that spinning indicator like it still incomplete. but with using a vpn(any) it loads them fast and perfect! meanwhile other browser chrome, edge,IE all can load these websites with no problem and without needing any vpn.

any idea what causes this strange problem? -checked network setting to use no proxy -disabled add-ons -refreshed FF -re installed FF -created a new profile

I recently tried to tidy up my browser bookmarks using 'manage bookmarks' and reordered them and removed several duplicates. The tree structure in the library looks kind-of weird too, as some directories such as 'bookmarks toolbar' appear 3 or 4 times, sometimes nested within itself.

After I had finished reorganising I exited and went to one of the directories on the bookmarks toolbar, but it is still showing all the old and duplicated bookmarks and none of the more recent ones.

What is happening, and is there anything I can do to fix it?
