The link for my workmail used to work, but with the last update of firefox I cannot open it. this is the site: muz.ndr.de

I enter my details, they are accepted and then I fail to be redirected, there is a little info icon in the address bar that tells the connection is not considered safe. Well it was two weeks ago.

Nothing in my setup has changed for months, apart from the recent firefox update.

Firefox browser will not view jpg files (pictures) in my Windows 10 computer. I discovered this when I was trying to import my account photo.

Issue solved! Simply indicating file uploads as jpg etc, must use *.* for all files. Then Firefox can see the *. jpg files.

I am curious as to why every tab that is opened is a Private tab? I use this for work and the firewall does not like it at all and I can not find out how to swap it back to normal windows.

The option what´s shown in a new tab is only: Firefox-side or blank page. I love to see a nice pictureof the "Bing"-search-engine. Any idea how to make this happen?

I have a new laptop (HP Pavilion x360). When my mouse crosses the screen on Firefox it enlarges the scree between 120% and 300%. How do I stop this? I suspect it has something to do with the tablet aspects of the laptop and it is seeing it as a swipe, but how do I turn it off?

When i download a pdf document from a website there used to be an option to open (in Foxit) or download. I suspect that the Win10 May '19 update may have changed this, because all pdf files have to be downloaded. Is this something to do with Firefox, Foxit or Windows? I have looked at the article on the built-in Firefox pdf reader, but cab find nothing on my screen to operate this?

Work profile and home profile, each on three different systems -- 1 Mac, 2 Windows. I'd like each profile on each system to be sync'ed to the same profile on the other systems. Do I need one account or two?

P.S. I am contemplating moving from Chrome where I have two "persons" ("people"), which requires two Google accounts.

P.P.S. I have read some about Containers, but don't understand how they might relate to this question. Feel free to ignore this comment if it's not apropos.

Problem suddenly started happening. Prompted to set Firefox as default browser every time I open it, but there are two identical firefox options and selecting either does not solve the problem.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting firefox

Firefox will not remember my logon info for only one website. I called and spoke to the person in charge of their website and said Firefox works okay for them when logging onto their website but I don't know for sure if it is the latest version, which I have. There is no way that I can turn off the auto logon feature in Firefox for one website.

What can be done to resolve this problem?

I have a number of scripts for Windows that I use to open multiple searches in multiple Firefox tabs. I don't use bookmarks because I have to preprocess the search argument to put it into the correct format for each of the individual search URLs.

Each line in the script launches Firefox from the command line with a different search URL. Up until now, each invocation opened a new tab in the currently active Firefox window.

All of a sudden it no longer works. The first Firefox invocation opens a tab in a new window. The new window has no title bar or bookmark toolbar (see attached image). The script then hangs until I kill the new window and then wait 10 seconds; then the next URL opens in another new window.

What changed? Is there any way for me to add tabs to an active Firefox window from the Windows command line?

I'm using Firefox on a couple of Macs and Windows 10 machines for quite some time now. And I keep tabs and bookmarks in sync with Firefox Sync. Has been working great for quite some time.

Since somewhere last week, it started giving me headaches. It started with requiring me to log into sync again on one of the machines (can't quite remember wether it was Win10 or Mac). My password (complex 35 characters, managed by LastPass password manager) did not work. Que? OK, so I reset the password with a recovery key (2FA enabled) and was able to log in again.

Then another machine gave me exactly the same: log in again, password wrong, only way in was to reset password, etc.

It seems I can get either all macOS Firefoxes to sync -or- the Win10 Firefoxes to sync, but not both. I tried completely starting over with sync (deleting my account, setting it up from scratch). But still the same problem...

I'm at my wits end with this... Anyone else having this problem? Was not able to find a reference on google or the support forums ;-(.

I guess it started with Firefox 67.0 (which has an update as I check just now).

Any hints or help most welcome :-D

I just downloaded and installed English United States Dictionary. When I go to Add-ons Manager under Dictionaries it shows as being installed. The only choices for managing it is Disable or Remove. How do I open it? How can I get it to appear on my toolbar? This add-on was installed from Firefox Find Add-ons section yet I can do absolutely nothing with it.
