this site doesn't show any of the images and information. But Safari 9.1. does. But it has some security issues so I'm reluctant to use, in addition to the fact that FFx is my primary.

I have a very old (~2008) Firefox sync account that I would like to access. I know my email and password. But the password is 6 characters, and the new minimum requirement is 8 characters. The login form will not allow me to login with my old password due to the form validation, and if I perform a reset, I will lose data I am looking for. So, I need to know how I can access my old account.

Form the release of Firefox Quantum 61.0.2 firefox has taken a large amount of time to load a page. but the same page can be loaded in private browsing in a second and can also be loaded in other browsers in the same amount of time as well.

Both computer are connected to the same wifi and running the latest windows firefox. My extensions are working fine, im not sure if its that bookmark bar bookmarks dont sync? or whats going on.

It's really annoying when Firefox decides to update. I get shut down with no warning whatsoever in the middle of my session. If I can choose permission options for updates, why can't I choose time options? As I am sure you are aware, Windows allows update time options and a warning, which includes several time periods, before shutting down, so why can't you?

I am having a issue when I watch any kind of flash player video (Twitch/youtube/other stuff) on mozilla firefox.

As you can see on the picture there are stripes or color differences that look like stripes in the picture. I only have this problem with mozilla video viewing and not when I use google chrome to watch youtube etc or watch through a media player like VLC. The stripes disappear if i pause the video otherwise they are always there during the video.

I have tried turning on and off hardware acceleration.

So I work for a Medical records company and we have all our users use Firefox for HIPPA reasons. We want to set up a Firefox Sync account that all new users will use, so that when a new user downloads firefox they can sync with this account and it will set all the settings that our software needs. The catch is that I know that if I set up one Firefox account and set those settings it also connects history and browsing data between anyone that is also signed in to that Firefox synced account. We do not want all these different doctors offices seeing all the web history and searches from other clinics. Does that make sense?

The about:config trick doesn't work on Drudge. Chrome has an add-on that blocks autorefresh, but it doesn't work on Drudge, either. Apparently Drudge is hell-bent on autorefreshing his page every thirty seconds whether you like it or not. Has anyone figured out how to make Drudge stop autorefreshing? I used to use NoScript, but since Quantum, NoScript has been transformed into a monstrosity I can't make head or tail of.

I am 83 and only have a PC and do not want anything to sync to phone or anything else. Please tell me how to stop constant notice to upgrade Firefox, or I shall be forced to find another browser.

I recently had to restore my computer back to factory settings, necessitating me to have to re-download Firefox. Now, everything is installed, but for some reason whenever I start FF, it restores the last two tabs I was on(Facebook and Twitter) no matter how many settings I change(restore last session is NOT ticked). I've tried the solution of going into about:config and changing the restore to false, and it's not working. Also, those two pages load no matter how many other pages I open in new tabs. Like, every time I re-open Firefox.

I saw another solution about something going into Profiles? and changing something there, but I cannot for the life of me find what I'm supposed to change. I'm only mildly tech-savvy, but some things are still over my head. Any help would be appreciated(hold my hand!)

i was trying to watch aseries then a tab came on telling me to allow firefox to add the media tab tv to my browser, iw asnt able to exit it and look at other tabs so i had no option but to allow and add it and i want to know how i can remove it entirely from the computer
