Since yesterday I've had trouble adding items to a shopping basket not just on one website but several. Web pages load up ok (though some have seemed to take longer to load than before recently and I have to use Control/Alt/Del to 'unfreeze' them). Have tried to solve the 'basket' issue using the help given when others have posed the same question. Have removed cookies/cleared cache/refreshed Firefox/uninstalled and re-installed/checked plug ins are up to date. I've also tried using IE and the 'add to basket' button works ok when I use that browser. I have Norton security and am using Windows 7.

It's sending me a little bit mad! Am not a techie so a straightforward answer would be much appreciated.

I've confirmed this is not a WordPress issue by using a different browser.

My process has always been the same: I copy a URL, then go to WordPress to create a hyperlink. I select the text I want to turn into a hyperlink and click the link button. But now, when I select the text and click the link button, the selected text has become my copied text.

Have a Macbook Pro and use Firefox. I have disabled and removed Invisible Hand , but it continues to load multiple tabs of "Invisible Hand Getting Started" even after I restart my Mac. How do I get rid of it permanently?

Was looking for a help. My firefox crashes very frequently (every 4-5 minutes). I am not sure what is the issue here. I tried reinstalling the software, still the crashes does not seem to go away.

Recently, my Firefox has been a nuisance to me. If you'll take a look at the printscreens, you'll see that whenever I switch from Firefox to Microsoft Word and then back to Firefox (by clicking the Firefox button on my taskbar), for some reason the browser whites out some portions of the screen. Note that I did not white out my favorites bar for personal reasons -- the browser was like that when I took the screenshot. There have been times when the entire browser page will be white and I won't be able to see anything -- not even the menu bar, scrollbar, or the page itself. I have to minimize, maximize, minimize, then maximize the browser again in order for this white blur to go away (or resize the page, which instantly fixes the problem). This is getting ridiculous. What's going on, and is there any fix for it? Thanks.

A spam or not?

In the help side, there is now case with that title. Therefore, I'm not shure what i have to do.

Each time I open a webpage in my Bookmarks menu I get "Add to bookmarks (nnn)" with the 'nnn' being a sequential number. I now have over 500 of these entries and need to delete them and then not have them created again.

My website has a hit counter. On four PCs running Firefox all is well. On one other, the numbers don't show up. An example is at www.osdoptics.com

So the problem is the following: I experienced Firefox to eat up all my ram (I have 4Gb + 5Gb swap in linux) since a year ago. After 1 hour it started to consume also the swap and I needed to kill firefox and restart it. That was okay. But today, I cannot even start to surf on internet because it completely use my RAM and swap. If I follow what happens with htop, I see that the RAM usage oscillates violently from 2Gb on and as soon as it starts to use the swap the computer almost freeze because it start to write on disk.

This also happens in --safe-mode

Now i started another profile, and it works fine. But how can I fix my old profile? How can I find what happens? (I don't want to repeat everything with my new profile in a couple of months)

Loaded & registered firefox yesterday. Rcd confirmation email (yesterday) and acknowledged same (also selected image for the account). Today, attempted to log-on to account and messages say password incorrect. asked for email to re-establish account and no e-mail received. Made the attempt two or three times, still no email from firefox. How about allowing me to start all over and open a new account? If so, how do I accomplish that? Thank you, Ross Gudgel

Firefox 46.0.1, Ubuntu 14.04.04 LTS. Until this morning I could right click on a tab and be given the option to 'protect' the tab. This morning when opening Firefox all my tabs are no longer 'protected' and the option to do this when you right click on a tab is no longer there. I can still 'pin' and 'unpin' a tab just can't protect them anymore.

I carefully set up Firefox at another location (Windows Vista), got the sync key, came here (Ubuntu 14.04), can't get a place to enter the key. It just wants to sync with my phone...

I've tried following the detailed instructions at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-set-sync-my-computer , it just gets me to the same place I got myself.

It seems to me that either I'm overlooking something very simple and basic, or there is a large bug in the setup.

There is some reference to "Tools", but I can't get there from here in Ubuntu, the top drop down isn't there.

classmates.com page shows very very small - zoom does not correct it. Loading it on Chrome it displays properly. Also, when printing ebay paypal mailing label it prints out at a reduced size. Proper size when I use chrome. Both of these were working fine until a few days ago. I prefer using FireFox. Thank you

On the two PC's that I have upgrade to Windows 10, both will not load Facebook . Both Firefox installations are fresh today on both, yet one was working fine until today. I have included a screenshot of what I see instead of Facebook.

when I mouse click in any area where I am going to enter text, the whole box turns green. I have started firefox in safe mode and it still occurs so it is not my addons. I have also disabled Kaspersky virus protection and restarted firefox but it does not go away. Also, it only turns green in the area I click to enter input... as soon as I click another area it goes back to white. Is this a problem with an update? Thank you. Jo Goodwin

I have do not have any mobile devices. But I like the Marketplace and the games. It states if I get to FF 48 it is history. I have FF 46.0.1. After upgrading it from 45, it all stopped working. I tried following the directions. But I am a simple minded person and have problems comprehending this stuff. I spent a week correcting a virus the .5 stuck in the computer

Now I would like to install Marketplace since I do not have auto updates. Can anyone tell me the easiest way.
