I do not want the new color browser. I absolutely detest it. I want to go back to what it was, normal. How do I get this hideous green color off the top of the browser

I added an Add-On to try it called [by Firefox by Mozilla Firefox] Notes by Firefox by Mozilla Firefox which I have since removed as the Add-On has corrupted my Bookmarks. When I click 'Show Sidebars' my Bookmarks don't show (thought they are there) but it's as though the font is white making it impossible to see them.

If I click Bookmarks I can see them and/or when I click on Manage Bookmarks that option opens and I can see all my Bookmarks. This only happened after I added "Notes by Firefox by Mozilla Firefox" Add-On. I was thinking there could be possibility it could have been caused by changing the appearance to Dark Mode, (for example Facebook or Twitter, etc).

There must be a better fix then to refresh / restore Firefox to its default settings as I have about 90 Tabs Open

Getting sick of this crap that everything has to have this BLACKNESS crap in it, 13% of the population shoved in everything, You never see Asians, or any other race now, it's always this black crap, everything in now divershittyfied.

The Bookmarks Toolbar is showing up with a message to use it, even though I don't want to use it and have not added any bookmarks to it. This has shifted the actual screen down one line and messed up things I do that rely on screen positioning. Please turn it back off.

CNBC live tv (cnbc.com) fails when I press the play button. I have cleared cache, cookies and tried the troubleshoot mode. Using vanilla EDGE browser CNBC tv works.

Since upgrading to version 106, I believe, I see annoying indentation in File and View drop-down menus. Is this a known problem or am I the only one with this problem? If there's a solution using userChrome please instruct me.

Hi, It would be of great help to me if you could give me an advice how to fix my Firefox browser in order to be able to use it with sound. It used to work untill a few months ago, but once, with no reason, just stopped playing sounds , no matter if I accessed a news channel, Youtube or other site that uses sounds.. for this purpose I am forced to use Chrome or Microsoft Edge, but I like more Firefox. I mention that I have an i7 laptop with a Windows 10 OS. Thank you.

I just opened a pop up that you sent - asking to choose a colour. I had no idea it would change the look of Firefox. Please could you instruct me how to change it back to how it was.

Since updating to version 107, the Idagio.com web player does not work in Firefox. When pressing the "Play" icon, only progression dots show forever.

The previous solution as outlined in https://support.mozilla.org/bm/questions/1361785 no longer works. The checkbox it describes no longer appears at the bottom of the Edit Bookmark dialog. So what now?

MacBook Pro OS High Sierra Firefox version: 106.0b4

When I bring up Google Maps I put the address in and Firefox shows an error message. This has been happening for a couple of months. See Error Message below.. Google Chrome has NO problem pulling up the address. How can I fix this? Thank you.

So firefox dev edition makes connections after booting the pc, even when i did not open it. Now i dont think its a big deal because so far i can tell those connections to the adress 127.0.0.1 should be only local connections that dont leave my local network, right? Question is, why does it do that? The standard firefox browser doesnt ever behave like that, so why does the dev version? What i dont like here is the fact that a program does things on its own without me interacting with it, firefox is a browser and should only be active when i use it, not on its own. So what are these connections and why are they there? How do you disable the browser acting on its own? I did not install the maintenance service.

If I key a search term into the browser bar and hit enter it begins searching. About 95% of the time nothing happens. No message. I just notice the 'x' to stop the search is gone, and a 'retry' circle replaces it.

This has been going on for months. I have used firefox for years. I have renewed it, replaced it, removed all addons, accepted updates usually each day. stopped accepting updates. Refreshing, renewing, seems to help for a couple minutes. Deleting all history helped...maybe. I am on satellite internet. Also use chrome. Most of the time now, After I key a query in firefox, I switch to chrome and do the same query while waiting. Chrome works. Just doesn't have all my passwords and sites yet.

I am on windows 7 home premium. I have an AMD FX 6100 6-core CPU running at 3.3 Ghz. I have 8 gigs of RAM. I am not overclocking. I use Avast antivirus. A few months ago I bought the avast cleanup tool which was a massive mistake, I had already done all the things it wanted to try, it is just a nuisance. In settings, I have a message that says firefox is managed by my organization. I wish I could get rid of that. I would appreciate any help I can get. Thanks in advance.

Last few days , my laptop( windows 10) system got hanged for some reason. Then second time I got the message on my laptop , that Software Mozzila Firefox got crashed. It had stopped working for few minutes then I restarted it. 1) Has it happened to my System? 2) or even others got the same experience? 3) How to start PC when windows stopped working Suddenly. 4)Was the Mozzila Firefox failure / crash, was the reason, behind PC not working during first time? 5) On laptop a message appears , to upgrade Operating system to Windows 11( currently it is windows 10) from MS. Firefox (on a MacBook Pro, OS 10.14.5) rapidly stopped working today. First, one open page stopped updating (webmail), but others (e.g., weather) still worked. Soon, progressively, nothing worked, and it wouldn't open new pages, links, or bookmarks. I downloaded a new version, 106.0.1, but that dmg file wouldn't open: "no such file or directory" (despite ostensibly containing 135 MB). Yet that version seems to be what's running now. I don't know how recently my Firefox got updated; possibly an update is the problem, but why newly today is unclear. I'm now using Safari, since Firefox is kaput.

I am using pihole and i've learned that firefox ignores it.

Supposedly, because it has DNS OVER HTTPS enabled by default.

So i disabled it, and it still doesn't work ( ignores DNS settings and loads websites that are blacklisted in my pihole - only firefox does this, chrome and edge dont have this problem )

I've set it to my pihole server - and it still works.

I've set it to CUSTOM and put in a 0.0.0.0 as IP and IT STILL WORKS

how???

i am just trying to use pihole but i can't comprehend why would a browser ignore all these settings ...

how do i make it work?

I've tried refreshing and using it with zero addons. At the moment it seems to be freezing after I copy things from a textarea. It started freezing just after the Windows update... core isolation is OFF (laptop doesn't support it)... Firefox is at the latest version too.

How do I remove this crap tab list? I don't want that option, Firefox just updated and added it as a fixed function. Honestly it seems that the Firefox development team does not care about the interests of users, currently I need to use 2 browsers because one of them does not have an option to create shortcuts to the sites I frequent
