God, your programmers or other workers make these instructions so darn complex! I was a programmer and I now hate trying to find how to make a recommendation to you. Somebody went a bit berserk writing these supposed help pages.

You need that programmer to put a cursor at the beginning of the line where we type our description of the article to be saved. And that programmer has a lot of energy, so please allow us to search for the word that WE write as the description. For $4.99 a month, I expect both of these small software changes. We save so many articles and really need to be able to search for whatever code we write as the description of the saved article.

God only knows if this is going to the correct department. This website is a maze of information.

when i quit firefox i have to login again.

I would like to only have to register once and when I open the Firefox browser I am already registered with my account.

After my PC had a blue screen, I reinstalled Windows. Since I use Firefox Snc, I relied on it. Unfortunately, I had to realize that after reinstalling and successfully logging in to fIrefox sync, all my data is gone. He says that he has successfully syncronized, but all bookmarks are missing as well as the settings.

Hi, good day/evening you all. Hey with a temporary disability I have a real need to limit my mousing and would love to see a feature request I could give a thumbs up on -- for the 3 line menu at the top right being accessible via keyboard. (Also at least some of the choices on it such as History via a hotkey -- after I have the main menu open. By the way I know about pressing Alt, then any of the hotkeys on the old school hidden menu bar -- I'm instead talking about the new always visible hamburger menu icon.)

Where would I search to see if there's been any discussion or progress on that? Bugzilla?

Hi all, I'm having a lot of problems with Firefox crashing pretty often. Sometimes once or twice a day.

I most often see crashes in the middle of a Webex video conference for work. But Firefox sometimes goes down in other situations that I see no pattern in.

This is Ubuntu 20.04, Firefox 102.0. Unfortunately, it's a complex environment to debug.

First, when firefox goes down, it rarely leaves a crash report behind. So I'm not getting any direct evidence as to what is happening. Second, I run with uBlock active and it is very difficult to function in the browser without long enough for the crash to happen. Third, I typically have several hundred tabs open. I have a lot of memory (64G) in my machine, and the machine doesn't act like it's swapping, so I don't think I'm running out of memory.

Any help getting to the bottom of what's going on is welcome.

hi, have downloaded installer file several times with Firefox and i end up always needing to download from another browser to get it to work. The installer this specific time is xampp for windows. The download works well, the file goes to the right folder, but when i click on the installer, it leads to a new browser window (see pic1) and no matter what option i choose it never performs the installation. in the pic 2, u can see the applications options. I am really trying to give a shot at firefox but i always end up having to use another browser :-/. Thanks a lot for any help

When I download a file with several "." in name on the save box uses one of the words as extension instead of the real file extension.

Example:

When downloading the file "The.Talk.S12E187.720p.WEB.h264-DiRT.torrent" on the save box appears "The.Talk.S12E187.720p.WEB" with the extension "h264-DiRT" (Pic 1) I have to manualy change the extension type and name (Pic 2)

Tested in other broswers and work correctely.

I have noticed that the googleadservices site address keeps flashing at the bottom of my screen. What can I do to stop this? This has been happening for the last couple of weeks and shows up especially often on facebook. Thanks, Simone

My Firefox browser search engine has been redirected to Searchgoose.com. I have attempted to remove it using the instructions given in Malewarebytes, HitmanPro, and Superantispyware without success. My Firefox settings still show that Google is my default search engine and Searchgoose.com is not listed so I can remove it. Any suggestions on how I can remove searchgoose.com from my Windows 10 PC would be appreciated. The URL is https://www.searchgoose.com/?path=firefox/newtab&u=ea246c3c80cbfda0&subid=11118&channel=19. I am unable to browse to onedrive.live.com or onedrive.com in Firefox. Works in all other browsers on my machine (Windows 10 - works in Chrome, Edge, Vivaldi, Opera) but just shows a blank page in Firefox.

I've tried in various locations, so it's not my connection. I am running the latest version of Firefox (102.0 64 bit)

M1 Mac, Macos 12.4

After installing Firefox 102.0 neither of my computers will open Reddit pages. As far as I can tell, all other sites appear to work normally and Reddit functioned before the Firefox update. I restarted Firefox, restarted my computers, deleted Firefox and Reddit history and cache ... nothing so far has solved the problem. Reddit works as expected in Safari.

Any and all suggestions will be appreciated!

When trying to save PDF's, firefox use to save each file as ex/ document, document(1), document(2) etc... now when trying to auto save it is making me input a name manually and won't automatically add the (#) to each file. How can i fix this?

I had this problem in april, and the fix was given (below) but the link no longer works. Problem started again with a recent update...

I'm running version 102 of Firefox on Windows 11 Home version 21H2 OS build 22000.739 and can no longer log into my investment account at ally.com. Right after I key in my username and password, I get the following error. I can use Microsoft Edge and Brave browsers to successfully log in to my account but I only use Firefox.

The last time I successfully signed into my Ally Invest account using Firefox was probably a few weeks ago but I'm not sure of the date. I have attached a picture of the error I receive from Ally.

my passwords and logins are not showing..!! even my bookmarks are not showing on firefox after i logged in using my firefox account. please help me resolve this its very important Sir/Ma'am.
