Hiii, I am using Floorp 12.16.3@153.0 on Debian 13 with KDE Plasma. Since the latest update, navigation from Floorp’s Private Container no longer stays inside the container.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open a new tab in Floorp’s Private Container. 2. Type either a URL or a search query in the address bar. 3. Press Enter or click the arrow button. 4. Instead of loading the address in the current container tab, the browser creates a new regular tab outside the container.

The new tab does not show the container indicator and uses my normal browsing cookies. However, clicking one of the shortcuts displayed on the new-tab page correctly loads the website inside the Private Container.

I have already tried the following:

• Confirmed that `browser.urlbar.openintab` is set to `false`.
• Confirmed that `browser.search.openintab` is set to `false`.
• Restarted the browser.
• Disabled Floorp Start.
• Opened `https://example.com` inside the Private Container and then entered another URL or search query in the address bar. It still opened a new regular tab.
• Tested by pressing only Enter, without Alt or any other modifier key.

Expected behavior: entering a URL or search query should navigate within the current Private Container tab.

Actual behavior: a new regular, non-container tab is created.

This previously worked correctly and appears to have started after updating to Floorp 12.16.3, based on Firefox 153. Is this related to a change in Firefox 153’s container behavior, or is it likely to be a Floorp-specific bug? Please help, I'm a huge floorp fan :(

Since version 154, my 2017 Macbook Air running MacOS Monterey causes my fans to be always on. The battery preferences says "Using significant amount energy." I've turned off all AI features.

I can tell from a quick google search that this question has been asked MANY times, but I can't find step-by-step instructions for noobs like me who are new to the advanced features utilized to fix this issue. Please, if you wouldn't mind... Can someone provide step-by-step instructions to help me resolve this? I'm running version 154.0.1. I don't want to delete the bookmarks themselves; just that list (permanently). I appreciate your help!

My mac froze, force quit did not work, unplugged it, turned it back on, all bookmarks were gone and not able to add new ones. Would like to restore old bookmarks and add new ones.

My start menu is multi-level and sorted. The latest Firefox (154.0) adds a NEW start menu entry for itself at the "programs" level when launched even though it is already entered at a sub-level. This is a NEW problem since earlier versions did not do this. How can I stop this since it confuses and messes up my start menu. OS - Windows 10 with current patches. Using "Classic Menu" to provide better support for multi-level menus.

I found a parameter to open Firefox with a dialog to select the profile (-P) But, I'm looking for a parameter to open direcly Firefox with a named profile.

Hi, I believe this is some kind of bug/issue after the latest browser update (as I've quite literally never had this issue before). I like my launch page not to be cluttered with nonsense, no widgets, no activity, just my standard pinned shortcuts and the google search bar. However, after the latest update, "stories" have been on and have stayed on (despite altering all the settings that should get rid of it altogether). Even after turning it off, it appears it turns itself back on immediately. I don't want to see this junk and shouldn't have to, no one should, I even went to the trouble of blocking all topics in hopes the thing would just vanish. It did not. I hoped to report this to Mozilla more directly but couldn't find a meaningful bug report option. If anyone else has encountered this or if anyone has a true solution, I'd like to hear it, thank you.

My old gmail that was associated with my mozilla account was hacked and lost forever. I'm trying to change the email that is associated to my mozilla account to my new one, but there is no button to change or remove my primary email. I clicked "Add secondary email" hoping I could add my new gmail as a secondary then swap it to primary, but adding a secondary email requires a 2fa verification code sent to the gmail I no longer have access to, and I don't see any bypass options. How can I change the email associated with my mozilla account without access to the old one, or do I have to abandon this mozilla account and make a new one?
