I use Bookmark Toolbar a lot. It has several menus, with submenus. But when they layer over top of each other, I get lost in which layer I am on and too often my mouse moves off the top layer, which closes it.
I would like to somehow change the colour of the menus, depending on the layer. Currently they seem to all be kinda grey, regardless of theme.
But if the first dropdown menu could be yellow and then the next be blue ... or whatever, it would be most helpful.
I suspect this is something that could be effected in userChrome.css, but I have no idea what to put in there to target the menus.
Any help or guidance you can provide is much appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi,
I'm autistic and I find the new design updates really, really disturbing and I need to change it back to the old design.
I read on the help article for reverting to older versions that it'd be better to ask if there's a workaround instead of downgrading because of the security issues, so yeah does anyone know how to revert to the previous Firefox design and maintain the current version of the browser?
By the new design, I mean the roundness of everything and the teardrop shapes for whatever's left.
I'm still gonna revert back for now but hopefully there's a fix I can use.

I just updated to Firefox Version 157.0 and set up vertical tabs on the left side and love it. I also have "Hide tabs and sidebar" clicked which I assumed would hike the sidebar until I moved my cursor to the left. That doesn't happen. The icons for the various tabs remain displayed. Am I wrong to assume that this setting means the sidebar will be hidden until the cursor is moved to this area?
Thanks for your input.
How can I remove the show sidebar button that just showed up today?

As described, I (changes being intended as temporary) changed the maximal size for the sidebar to open upon hover. Only when, at that length, I try to revert the change, the sidebar closes before I can "grip" the edge of the sidebar to shrink its length.
My issue is not that I cannot fix this change. My issue is that my change isn't permenant. I followed the standard steps of "Right-click anywhere on Sidebar > select 'Customise Sidebar' in menu > let Sidebar collapse > in 'Customise Sidebar' panel deselect 'Expand sidebar on hover' option > close 'Customise Sidebar' panel > pick up the RH edge of now stationary Sidebar by hovering mouse until the 'gripper' symbol (double-headed arrow) appears... drag RH edge of Sidebar to desired new max-open width."
The issue is that, after doing this, the sidebar reverts to taking up half the screen once I re-enable "Expand sidebar on hover" and reversing the steps listed above.
Any help would be appreciated! I'd rather not have to re-install.

You guys are doing really good. BUt I'm going to have to say- If it ain't broke don't fix it. Why change the shape of the grouped tabs icon??? Without having even a option to change it back or to something else entirely. Was there someone specifically asking for that appearance update? Can we as users have an option to not have that unpleasing, google-reminiscent* shape set for the grouped tabs? Please?

The current version is styled with oval/circular shapes. I would like to keep the box-like shapes from before this update.

Hello, as the title says, I'd like to have the option to move the vertical tabs to the right side of the browser...if possible.
Thanks, FoxMe

First, apologies if this is the wrong forum. This is about the FF Developer edition browser.
It used to show the browser width counter in the top right corner when you resized it. Now in the latest version I no longer see this. How can I get this back? It's a great feature!
Attached is what it used to look like. I don't know what version it appeared in and which it disappeared in.
Thanks!
How to turn off (OVER)rounded corners of ALL UI elements in Firefox?
Please don't say "custom CSS". It's not a solution, it's just workaround.

This shouldn't bother me this much, but it does. Especially since I didn't turn it on and someone somewhere decided how everyone's window should look this way

I'm using Mac Catalina OS, version 10.15.8, and the latest version of Firefox as my browser. How can I increase the font and icon size on the Firefox toolbar? The existing font size is too small and hard to read. Going to about:config and clicking on "accept the risk and continue" plus typing "layout.css.devPixelsPerPx" doesn't seem to work for me. 'Simply put, I need clear instructions that allow me to resolve the aforementioned problem.
