Using Firefox v154.0.1. I have the free built-in VPN Beta enabled. I'm located in Austria. No matter which country I select in the VPN settings (Germany,France,Canada,US,UK), I always have a Singapore IP. It says so if I open an IP test website (e.g. from NordVPN) and also on YouTube.

Google Maps displays black map tiles in Firefox, while it works normally in other browsers. The issue persists after disabling extensions, testing Troubleshoot Mode, clearing the graphics cache, resetting graphics preferences, and testing a new Firefox profile. Firefox version: [version]. August 24, 2026 Sometime during the last month website backgrounds changed to black. I can't see well with black. I did not install colorways. I had things setup as I liked then suddenly everything changed. How do I switch to a lighter background? My desktop background is a custom medium green. I tried enabling a light theme - no success. I've already tried the Windows settings for accessability. All help will be appreciated.

Too many updates. Sometimes two or three in a week.

My start menu is multi-level and sorted. The latest Firefox (154.0) adds a NEW start menu entry for itself at the "programs" level when launched even though it is already entered at a sub-level. This is a NEW problem since earlier versions did not do this. How can I stop this since it confuses and messes up my start menu. OS - Windows 10 with current patches. Using "Classic Menu" to provide better support for multi-level menus.

I noticed last week that some pages didn't load, and Activity monitor showing Firefox app using 170-180% which I know is way too high. Forgot to check memory usage.

I rolled back from 154 to 153 by restoring it from backup, and same with the Firefox folder in ~lib/appsupp/, relaunched Firefox and cpu was back to 2-4% cpu with a couple of windows and tabs. I've turned off auto-updates.

On my system, something is wrong with v154.

We have followed the instructions on how to import bookmark & it doesn't work. We have tried to export bookmarks from Chrome to Firefox & that doesn't work. Please advise.

My home page has always been www.google.com.Today when going there i have no option to search because the search button is gone,and all i see are ai prompts.I click my home page icon,and still get the same thing.

Currently, Firefox has an integrated chatbot; however, the choices of AI providers are poor. I wonder if I can connect the bot to locally deployed models or other AI providers. Will it be able to connect to OpenAI Compatible Endpoints in future?

I'm unable to pay for services as it seems the popup from my bank notifying me to expect a text message with a validation code isn't appearing. I've unchecked "Block pop-ups and third-party redirects" restarted Firefox but still the same. This happens with multiple websites. I've also disabled some but not all of my extensions. Only recently started. Changed browser (MS edge) works fine.

Sometimes, for seemingly no reason, Firefox will force two tabs to combine. I do not want this. Ever. And I am sick and tired of it constantly appearing. It is extremely distracting and I want to disable it but can't find a way to turn it off. How do I turn it off?

I'm trying to use an extension that requires the "Access your data for sites in the youtube.com domain" permission but the permissions pop-up isn't appearing. I've tried with several extensions and restarted the browser already.

My summary says it all, really. There's not much more that I can add, except that I have used Firefox for many years and have never had this problem before. The index page itself is fine when I view it in Firefox. And if I right-click the page and view its source code, everything is there. Furthermore, I have no difficulty in editing the page in other browsers. (Since this problem arose, I have been using the Norton browser. But I have also been able to scroll down to the end of the source code in Google Chrome.)

So, now I've followed your previous advice and reset my password. I've gotten into my Firefox account, which is nice. I've set a Passkey and a Recovery Key. Your site suggests saving the Recovery Key in a Password Manager. So, I downloaded it to do so. But, your browser won't save the pdf that it downloaded! It wants a csv file. What do I do now? Other than write it down, which I've already done, but, that didn't work last time. Both my password and my passkey were unrecognized, which is what got me here and now.
