I had to reset my Dell computer and it had Firefox on it. I lost everything on it. Can I get it back?

For some reason (probably Microsoft vandalism), Firefox was removed from my startup programs a few weeks ago. I looked in the MS list of apps and saw 2 versions of x64 Firefox, -GB and -US. Being in GB, I chose to uninstall the US version. Then Firefox stopped working. It was not longer shown on my desktop, and had disappeared from the start menu. But the GB version was still listed in the app list (209MB), but I cannot find out how to start it. IOBit suggests it is buried in ../Appdata/local. It does not appear when I use the taskbar search for Firefox.
So I reinstalled Firefox, but the tool gave no options on which version to install, nor where to install it. The US version was reinstalled on my C: drive. Just going round in circles.
How do I solve the problem? Thank you.

I have a home desktop running OpenBSD -current (snapshots), and FIreFox is obtained from the OpenBSD package system.
When I update to a new snapshot and updated packages, the preferred display setting (dim) is lost. I don't have to log in again, but I have to reset the display.
I don't know where that selection is stored, but I'd like to make it persistent.
As i installed the firefox it crashes and Does Not Know what is Happening. Please Look into this matter

I am using version 91.5.0esr (64-bit). Virtually always, the download status shows as failed. Yet, there were files created by the download. I have even been able to go back literally months in the downloads history, click to retry each download, which is then showed as being successful. I did NOT reload the pages whose content I was trying to download. I realize that a browser tends to have a cache, but surely not that big. I'm guessing that showing the status failed is some type of error.
I cannot get century link email (I get century link) or MSN Outlook since this morning's firefox update. I can get gmail.

Thank you for trying to help me, but many of the suggestions and explanations are dead ends because I cannot get them to work. I cannot get the latest version 95 of Firefox to update despite repeatedly trying to follow the directions, and updating is not occurring "automatically" as stated in all of the problem solving descriptions. When I get certain instructions, it refers me to a "Settings" button, which does not appear/exist on my toolbar(s). This latest inquiry is related to my original question about "licensing" issues error message when trying to view Youtube rented video's. Also, how do you go about updating a Widevine setting, mine is currently 4.10.1582.2. and needs updating. Please help me, I would like to learn how this stuff works, I appreciate any help.

I have discovered that if I download my Netflix viewing history (it's a file named "NetflixViewingHistory.csv") then while this file, once completed, remains in the download history for the remainder of the session, when I next restart Firefox it has disappeared (from the Firefox downloads history I mean, it remains on my hard drive). This has happened both times I downloaded that file.
Whereas other completed files I have downloaded remain in the downloads history until I manually clear them.
My question is, why would Firefox automatically remove this specific completed download from history, but not others?
A thought that occurred to me is that maybe Firefox auto-clears completed downloads if it detects that the download page / link is no longer accessible? (And maybe Netflix is creating this file in a temporary location that disappears once the user has downloaded it, unlike a more traditional download where the url path to the download is a perma-link?)
Or is this just an old-fashioned bug and Firefox should not be selectively auto-clearing any specific completed downloads at all? They should all persist until manually cleared? Thanks.

I have today commissioned a new HP laptop running Windows 10.
I have downloaded Firefox and done a straightforward installation. I have viewed a couple of web pages but notice that when right clicking there is no longer a screenshot facility in the little menu box that appears. Trying Control + Shift + S does not work either.
I am writing this using Firefox 93.0 for Linux Mint on an old Toshiba Satellite and I have the facility - both right click and keyboard.
Has the facility been discontinued in the later version?
Many thanks in advance
Get my computer back to being useable.

I accidentally deleted Firefox ESR that worked fine for years on my old Macbook Pro laptop (2009) running El Capitan OS 10.11.6. Now I can't reinstall it unless my OS is a minimum of 10.12. I don't want to mess with attempting an OS upgrade for fear of losing files and photos. This computer is strictly a nostalgic backup that I would like to keep functioning for a while longer. Any way around this?
