Firefox account recognizes a different user. Cant log into my actual account, noticed this issue when i saw that my bookmarks disapeared.

Did Mozilla change the functionality?
What's going on?

Note: I can access the page by going directly to its URL ... but what's the point of bookmarks if that is necessary?

I am using the latest version of firefox nightly. I notice this on another PC that shares the same profile. However one of my PCs doesn't take this long and it uses the same profile as well. It also seems that the pinned tabs are not loading correctly because I get errors with those pages too.
Bookmark folder icon is appearing only s a wire frame image. Is there a way to get the usual folder icon back ?

I have used firefox for years as my browser with my home page set to google. I have always had a bookmarks toolbar but never a bookmarks side bar and do not want one. The other day a bookmarks side bar suddenly appeared. I have moved it from left side to right side and can delete it temporarily by using CTRL +B, but can't find a way to permanently remove it, i.e. make the default setting so that the side bar doesn't appear. can you help?
