I can not get my bookmarks to sort. If I select the hamburger menu, select manage bookmarks a new widow open where the folder containing my bookmarks are located. If I then select that folder and select sort by name it does in fact sort them. However when I go back to the hamburger menu and select bookmark they continue to display in a random order. What do I need to do to get these sorted? I have attached jpeg screen shots.

I have always been able to click on a box in the upper right to see my bookmarks on the left side of the screen.

This has now disappeared and the only way I can see the bookmarks is to go to "manage bookmarks". I don't see how to bring it back to the way it was.

I didn't knowingly change anything.

After the latest software upgrade my bookmarks stopped working when clicked upon. All of them now have something similar to a globe on the left of each bookmark. last night I re-loaded some of my bookmarks and the worked as long as I remained on Firefox. Returning this morning, they all have these globes on the left, and no longer work when clicked upon.

I have followed suggested links in ever variable circles to no avail... innumerable deletes, restarts, reinstalls etc, etc.... but still have NO ACCESS to my Bookmarks toolbar! I've worked way too long over such & would gladly forget my history... but remain unable to access the Bookmarks toolbar

bold text My prior version of Firefox had a line near the top where commonly used links (e.g., google calendar) could be accessed. My current version no longer has that. Can I recover those links and is there a way of having convenient access to them with the current version?

Now that some bright person eliminated my visible bookmarks, I find firefox is just too hard to use. You eliminated my bookmarks from the screen, but they are still there in the menu. Problem is, I have too little patience to use the bookmarks menu EVERY TIME, OVER AND OVER.

So the Firefox team has forced me to Bing. That sucks. I think this update was a tragedy for USERS, but users never matter anyway, so who cares? NOT FIREFOX. This last update ruined Firefox in my humble opinion.

My BOA bookmark on my Firefox browser changed appearance. My BOA bookmark is one I downloaded only once I was in my BOA account and felt very certain of its authenticity. This is disturbing and frightening. I rely on that bookmark to access my finances. Did Firefox do this? I just contacted BOA and they said they did not do this. They said you most likely did this. Why would you do this? This makes me feel I would be logging into a scam site if I click on it. Why would you change the appearance of a crucial to ME site like this?

Why have YOU removed my Bookmarks Sidebar??? I have collected many bookmarks, but NOW there is NOTHING in the sidebar!! This is a rubbish way to update users - STOP IT!! I want my book marks on MY sidebar ... stop thinking YOU KNOW BETTER!! GIVE ME BACK MY BOOK MARKS! WHERE *I* WANT THEM!!

Seriously this is SO RUBBISH I will dump Firefox ... after MANY MANY YEARS!!

I would like to understand why Firefox places newly added bookmarks at the bottom of the selected bookmark folder instead of at the top.

In most cases, users want quick access to the bookmarks they have just saved. When a folder contains many bookmarks, having new entries appended to the bottom makes them harder to find and requires additional scrolling.

Is this behavior intentional? If so, what is the reasoning behind it? Has Mozilla considered adding an option that allows users to choose whether new bookmarks are inserted at the top or bottom of a folder?

I believe placing new bookmarks at the top, or providing a configurable option, would improve usability for many users.

On my old computer, I used the toolbar to take me to my main programmes like Ebay, Facebook, my log-in page for my bank etc. Now there is no room because it is filled up with bookmark folders.
