I used Speedtest by Ookla. When the broad band was installed, the technician did this without a problem. Today when I tried I was taken to an installation page. After I used the SpeedTest, then my main page was gone and instead I have a bar of Firefox selected options. I've tried to find how this is done so I can set it back but I can't find it. Please help.

When I bring up Google Maps I put the address in and Firefox shows an error message. This has been happening for a couple of months. See Error Message below.. Google Chrome has NO problem pulling up the address. How can I fix this? Thank you.

I can't say well what is it ...but when i open links from discord (twitch/yt/etc) the Firefox take too long to start load the page but if i just click on any link direct from firefox browser ..the page load faster

im getting unknown issuer on my thin-clients with a FF ESR 45.9.0. This FF is tied to the OS (Ubuntu 16.04) and the OS is the most recent compatible version for our version of the thin-clients. So yeah its super old and I'm not able to update any of this. There is no security.enterprise_roots.enabled option available. What would be the best way to solve this issue for ~400 clients. The URL in the URL bar is trimmed. I went to about:config and disabled "browser.urlbar.trimURLs", but it still did not work after I restarted Firefox. (see images)

I later then found out that there is a lot of unused space on the right. (see https://1drv.ms/v/s!Ag9_47ED3j7sgsZhkB02k7gI3lavyg) How do I remove / make use of the space on the right of the URL bar? How do I turn off the trimming of the URL?

What about:config option do I have to disable to remove those new buttons from the address bar?

hello guys I need help with this problem in firefox developed edition

Specifically, when I use the Inspector panel to inspect elements on a webpage, the selected elements are outlined with a blue border instead of being filled with color. This is making it difficult for me to visualize the layout and styling of the elements, and I would prefer to have them filled with color instead.

I have tried to find a solution on my own by searching online, but have not been able to find a clear answer. Could you please advise me on how to change the settings in Firefox Developer Edition so that the Inspector panel highlights elements with a fill color instead of just an outline?

My preferences are set so that "When you open a link, image or media in a new tab, switch to it immediately" is OFF. Therefore most of the time when I Cmd+click on a link, it opens on a new tab that loads in the background. This is what I want.

However, some websites break that behavior. 2 high-profile examples:

• In Google Docs, if a piece of text links to an URL, clicking on the text shows a small window with the URL. Cmd+click on that URL opens it in a new tab, and takes me to that tab.
• In Facebook Messenger, if I Cmd+click on a chat, again the chat opens in a new tab and I'm taken there. Additionally, the original tab activates that chat.

Interestingly, in both these cases, I get the right behavior if I right-click on the URL or in the chat and in the contextual menu choose "Open link in new window/tab/container tab": the new tab stays in the background.

So my question is: does anyone know of a way to always make cmd+click behave just like "Open link in new tab", no matter the website?

I'm on Firefox 115b4 on macOS, but this has been like this for years at least.

My Firefox account and associated passwords were left open on another notebook. I have now changed my Firefox sync login password from a different PC and signed out of other devices. Can a user on the previous PC sign in with a password that is saved in Firefox?

Steps to reproduce:

1. Have Google as the default search engine.

2. Type a search string into the address bar.

3. The address bar briefly shows a URL for the Google Search results.

4. The address bar is very quickly overwritten with the original search string.

How do I stop step #4 happening? I want the URL to remain in the address bar, for example to be able to give somebody a link which executes the google search.

I think this is new in FF121.

I have seen this in some past versions of FF It usually goes away after a few upgrades

Instead of whatever it's supposed to display, you can see that it shows some random characters.

When I try to log in to any Google "Ecosystem" (i.e Gmail, Youtube etc.) I see it (check screenshot below). I'll use Firefox Developer Edition. In vanilla Firefox and other browsers, everything works as usual.

I've got about 10 bookmarks with links to support pages each about adjusting specific about:config setting to my needs. My job also requires me to change systems lots of times, from Mac to windows to Linux. Is there an easy way I can save my personal about:config changes to a file for easy import on other systems?

I am using Firefox Developer Edition Version: 110.0b5 (64-bit) on M1 Mac running Ventura 13.1.

I am building an webapp some XHR triggering in background but it is not necessary to run the application (running fine on other browsers). But on Firefox Developer Edition, It shows a error window with the message and stops loading the application.

Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at localhost:4000.

localhost:4000 is the failing XHR request domain. I have attached the screenshot.

How to ignore the XHR failing errors just like other browsers?

After inserting the proxy information, webpages in the container tab refuse to load/connect, I insert the IP address and I've also tried the Fully qualified domain name, using the type://host:port syntax, I get "The proxy server is refusing connections" and "The connection has timed out" error messages.

If I setup the proxy via the settings menu the entire browser uses the proxy server address, I am trying to specify a different proxy server for each container.

I can't open Firefox. When I click on the icon Bing shows up. I downloaded the latest version of Firefox, I can't install it because I get the message that I have to close Firefox because it is running. How can it be? I haven't been able to open it for weeks.

In order to more convenient drag-and-drop interface, I need a fixed fixed space in nav-bar like Edge. For now we can add a flexible space on it. But it's flexible and it will disappear when I use a side window. And I can't drag over titlebar-buttonbox-container Please help me. Thanks!

I had set up a userContent.css file in the past to pull up and fetch an image on my computer to display as a background on the homepage. It worked and did it's job until recently, when I had recently relocated a lot of my files around on my computer. I have redirected everything to where I want it to look, including the userContent.css file to the new location for the image I want as the background. Firefox loads the .css file correctly, and recognizes the file existing, but it won't load the image itself for some odd reason. It states it "may not load or link the file" because of a security error, and thus, can't load the image. I never had to deal with this before. How can I get Firefox to be able to load my image like I want it to? I have screenshots that I can provide, but this site doesn't want to upload them at the moment.

Tell me how to reduce the size of buttons, tabs, and everything else BUT the fonts in my browsers. All of them have been affected. I've exhausted all of the normal "look in Settings and use your brain" options.
