I am trying to log on to my account at SketchUp. At the login page i hit get started and a black page come up except in the top left corner is typed "Firefox not responding" the page hangs a few moments then it takes me back to SketchUp login. I have not had any recent updates done or required since last logged in and that was yesterday all worked well.

Error Message: "Could'nt Sign You In: This Browser or APP May not be Sscure 1. Happened to Both Build 124 and 125 2. Virus Clean 3. Haved tried cleaning the cache and cookies

When a firefox window is active on my second display, I lose the firefox menubar on my main display. I haven't noticed this before, is it something new, or have I inadvertently changed a setting?

I do not want my searches to be reflected in the address bar. I believe in prior versions of Firefox there was a checkbox to delete that provision. I'm using Firefox 123.0 64-bit with Windows 10 and have been through the setting and more tools areas but found no way to remove that function. I did try the about:config suggestions but still have no joy.

Hi. Strange request I know because Firefox is working perfectly but Google has failed me.

We have a printer/copier in our small club. The IP address assigned is 192.168.1.125. Typing this into a browser should bring up the copier admin dashboard.

When I do this using Firefox everything works fine, BUT when I use any other browser such as Chrome, Edge or Opera I get the "Cannot connect" "Error connecting" etc message.

I removed Bitdefender antivirus and disabled Windows Defender but it's still the same.

Any network people who can point me in the right place as to where to look or report to the correct forum.

I have 3 computers (2 desktops, 1 laptop). I want to permanently delete approx 300 unused/unneeded passwords. I deleted them from computer #1, then logged out of Firefox. The new count was 346 passwords.

I went to the second computer, deleted approx the same number from computer #2. The new count was 324 passwords I returned to computer # 1 and logged back into Firefox.

Within a short time, computer #1 is at 759 passwords, and computer 2 is at 691 passwords.

How do I get the deletions to be permanent? It's the second pass at doing this and I'm FRUSTRATED.

Hi. Currntly I'm using 123.0b9 (64 bit) beta FF on W10 and I have this undefined problem with sound when use firefox (problem has start about two months back)- until today I couldnt find the way to make it sound correct with no rattling in the background. Situation occurs when watching any youtube videos od listining some live audio stream (probobly html5 audio in both cases). I was looking for some answers and find out that there was some simillar html5 sound rattling problem already solved some time ago- but this solution does not work for me (I have try to make some settings "false" in "about:config"). I have also try to manually disabled all the extensions and to run firefox in the "problem solving mode" - both with no luck. The solusion for me was to enable "Use hardware acceleration when available" - but I already disable it for a reason - scroll and other extra mouse functions works only when this function is disable... Now i finally have the good sound quality without scrolling or poor sound and scroll - but not both. I hope we can fix this somehow

I'm wondering where sent tabs go before they arrive at the destination browser instance? Snoozes tabs go to a bookmark, but what about sent ones?

The reason I ask is because my Firefox instance, oddly, created itself a new profile one day. I don't know why, I didn't ask it to (as far as I recall), I only noticed because when I wanted to send tabs from my phone to my desktop I noticed I had a new "so-and-so's Firefox on xyz computer" appear, then on inspection I realised that my old profile has been mothballed by Firefox. When I loaded up the old profile it no longer had the browser name that I'd previously given it in Firefox Sync settings, and the tabs I'd previously sent to it did not appear. Whilst I'd like to understand why all this happened, it's not critical to my question, I just provide it as background.

So, where do these tabs go? If they never arrive at their destination then where can I find them again?

Starting with my bank's web site, my user name/password is being challenged. I can't bank. Elsewhere, where my desk top has always been recognized, I'm now forced to log in each time...and I receive an email that a new device has just logged into my account. All of this suspiciously coincides with a recent browser update. On my bank feedback it's showing as Firefox "125"...when all previous logins were recorded as Firefox "124". Help!

I've had an ongoing issue with Firefox now for several months since upgrading to windows 11. When I try to copy text, or images, url's or anything really that is supposed to go to the clipboard, it copies a blank text with no data instead. I can copy text and images from other programs and even paste them into text fields on Firefox but I can't copy from Firefox to anything else and it's frustrating.

I recently got forced into upgrading Outlook in windows and hated it so I started using Thunderbird and surprisingly, I have the exact same issue there as well.

I have tried: Running Firefox in safe mode (Shift + Left Click) Resetting Firefox Switching Back to default themes Disabling hardware acceleration Updating to the latest Beta Build (v126) Running Firefox Developer edition

I really want to get this fixed and working, I don't want to have to switch to another browser =/.

I am using Ubuntu 23.10.1 with KDE Plasma desktop environment. Since recently I've been experiencing the following problem with Firfox document viewer: after a period of inactivity, PDFs become unreadable, and seem to cumulate everything that was displayed on screen (see screenshot). Ctrl + F5 does not help, and neither does closing the window and opening a new one with a link to the file. KDE Document Viewer displays the same file correctly.

Others asked and were pointed to extensions. As long as extensions get access to my pages, I'm not willing to use any. So, is there an option in advanced settings, to return to previously viewed tab when I close a tab? Thanks, Cat

No crash report, no trace, no anything. I click "Save [insert] as...", and Firefox hangs and stops responding. Windows automatically shuts it off when clicking. Launching Firefox again sometimes says there was a problem reloading the session, but that's not guaranteed.

Hello, as of recently Firefox got the new tool to highlight text in the native PDF viewer, and I really enjoyed using it. As of today, I had not updated or changed versions, but I suddenly lost access to the highlight tool option. Refreshing the page didn't work, downloading a new PDF and opening it didn't work, restarting Firefox didn't work, and I haven't seen anybody else have this issue.

Firefox Version> Firefox Developer Edition 125.0 Beta 8 (20240403091602) OS> Windows 11

I don't know if this is just an issue due to it being in beta, or it being on beta 7 but not 8, but either way any solution is appreciated!
