When I install FireFox, it automatically installs onto my desktop. My desktop is not for executables. it is for shortcuts to executables installed elsewhere. How can I make FireFox install somewhere other than my desktop.

The whole this week I have been dealing that Firefox fixed my issues and next day all settings went back as Google and Firefox is blocked or not longer providing me my request because of Google. I want to substitute Google for Firefox...I need an stronger help

It seems that Firefox has been erased from my Windows 11. I need to get Firefox back into my Windows 11. There is nothing I did to cause FF to be erased. Windows had an update and after that the FF was gone.

It was good to see on today's (2nd June '26) flyer that I can get the free Firefox VPN, excellent for my laptop. I took my previous one off because it was clogging everything up.

I am from the UK and living in Spain. I have recently bought a Firestick but cannot get any UK programmes due to regional restrictions, so I need a VPN to get round those.

Proton VPN offer a free service that I can put on to the Firestick. Their site gives you the instructions. My question therefore is, can I put the Firefox VPN onto the Firestick and if so, how? It makes sense to have all your VPNs in one place. Kind regards Mike

I am okay with just being sent the download for win 10 or 11 because I'm not sure why its even giving me such a out dated version. (side note I do want to mention that it is amazing Firefox has the option and goal to let you install a different operating system instead of locking you out to just a Linux version and i do want to say i don't use Firefox as my main browser but a back up from now on because of the accessibility)

This newer firefox (new to me) says i am running windows 10. (version 151.0.1 64-bit) How do i change that, also how to do finish setup?? I have been doing my best to research you Q&A. Have not found much to be helpful regarding my issues. I am a fan of Firefox and would like to continue using it, and supporting Mozilla when I can. How do I stop this page from coming up several times a day. I have already set FireFox as my default browser, several times, but to no avail. I've careful followed your instructions. I dislike MS and have used FF for years. If this doesn't stop, I'll search for another browser that hopefully behave. I have set it on 4 computers, 2 Win 10, 2 Win 11.

By the way, the computers show FireFox twice, but only one actual installation.

The VPN was installed in my old Windows 10 Pc; in November all of my system and filesereas transferred to the Windows 11 HP laptop I am now using. The VPN app appears nowhere on my system and I cannot use it. Iwant to get it installed or the subscription cancelled

I have always downloaded and used the beta version of Firefox on both my Windows 11 and Android environments. Recently I've noticed I'm no longer using the beta version on Windows 11, but am so far unable to find a download for it, either from the Windows Store or Mozilla itself. Can anyone tell me if it's still possible for members of the public to install Firefox beta on Windows 11 platforms, if so how, and if not, why not?
