Hello. My tablet, has limited memory, due to its age. I am now finding that one of the main reasons why it is so slow is because whenever I open firefox, it opens multiple firefox processes which drain the memory and in some cases crashes the system. I have followed all the advice given to reduce these multiple processes, however nothing seems to work and at least 6-8 firefox processes open each time I open it. I have unchecked the recommended performance settings as well as hardware acceleration boxes. However, I cannot find where to set the content process limit to 1. Please tell me how to do this and if there anything else I can try to stop it opening multiple processes or I may be forced to ditch Firefox altogether for an alternate such as Bing, Chrome or DuckDuckGo. How do I clear this blocked site? This only happens on Firefox - not on other browsers, and, of course, there is no website person now at the Pirates I can connect to. It's obviously a safe site.

new firefox update today plus windows update - get message "The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because one of Firefox's files is in use by another application. Some security software can cause this problem." Have tried to restore - no luck. Other bookmarks - empty.

Lost all bookmarks

I was wondering if there are any fix for this glitch I am encountering in this website https://currently.att.yahoo.com/ | I get the log out successful when I try to sign in, this is site is working fine in other browsers but I want to use firefox for it.

I recently received a note from firefox tat I had done something wrong and that is why I lost y bookmark option. I em wondering what exactly it was that I did wrong. I tried to search the internet for „syscsrv“ as a potential thread and I have found some entries in forums of people who seem to have the same issue. However, in the forums there were no solutions for the issue mentioned. Are these two addresses potentially dangerous/ malicious or are these potentially firefox bugs?

When File Explorer of Windows 11 25H2 tries to access and open an icon-file in the FF (144-64bit) profile's 'shortcutcache' folder, explorer gets Access Denied. The account running Firefox has admin rights.

Looking to the ACL of the profile folder containing the folder 'shortcutcache' show no reason for the blocking. Trying this with a new profile did not help.

TWO STEP VERIFICATION AUTOMATICALLY FORCED ON ONE OF MY COMPUTERS

AND FIREFOX DOES NOT "REMEMBER" WHEN SIGNED IN EVEN THOUGH CHECKED AT SIGNIN

WHEN I VIEW MY SETTINGS,,,,TWO STEP COMES BACK AS DISABLED.....BUT THATS INACCURATE ?? HOW CAN I DISABLE THE FORCED TWOSTEM FEATURE ON THIS SINGLE COMPUTER ??
