I no longer see a preview of photos on Google Photos on the new version of Firefox (122.0.1) in either the main window (see first image), or the file itself (see second image with broken file icon). In the latter I just get a spinning wheel. Do I need to change a setting in Firefox?

I use Firefox to watch movies on YouTube, Netflix, and many other sites.

I always make these movies full screen. Usually, that means that my computer will stay awake while the movie plays. But after 4 years of this working without issue, I started having problems last November.

Since then, whenever I make videos fullscreen, they'll display as normal, but after a few minutes, my computer's screensaver will come on. It's like my computer can't recognize that the videos are fullscreen. It treats them as regular videos and kicks into whatever power management settings I've set up

I've tried disabling all my add-ons. I've tried changing all my power settings. (Whatever power setting I choose, that's what ends up happening: screensaver at 10 min, 15 min, etc.) But nothing I do can get my computer to recognize fullscreen videos from Firefox .

This only happens with Firefox. When I play full screen videos in VLC, my computer does not go into screensaver/sleep/etc.

I'm running Firefox 123.0 on Linux Lite (Ubuntu).

The only way I get this to work-- and it doesn't always work-- is if I restart my computer, Firefox will sometimes behave as expected. But if I finish a movie and let my computer go to sleep, then the next time it wakes, I'll have the same problem again.

Hi, I have account from Many Years on Firefox and I usually when I got New Laptop I just Login in my Account and I retrieved all my Old Bookmarks and Add Ons this Time I got New Laptop and as Usual I Loged in but I got Nothing , I didn't found my Bookmarks or Add ons

how do I set LC_TIME in firefox in NixOS? firefox does not see LC_TIME (as well as timezone, but this is solved by setting the TZ variable). maybe there is some kind of variable, as in the case of TZ?

I had downloaded firefox from the Microsoft store. Firefox is installed in the %programfiles%/WindowsApps folder, which is owned by 'trusted installer'. Because of this a normal user cannot write to this folder, not even with Admin access.

Is there a way to set auto config without changing folder permissions? Can I save the firefox.cfg and autoconfig.js somewhere else other than the install folder?

Bangirot says technical problems when I want to see my received bankgiro payments. Win10 with Firefox, I can't see payments on that machine for a month soon. I have reinstalled firefox now. Still same result. With Android phone and firefox it works, but without printer. With another browser on Win10 it works, but not with firefox. Swedbank internetbank or bankgirocentralen can't help me. They have not heard of such problems.

Internetbank works, but with their connection to bankgirot it says, tehnical problems. If I login to bankgirot directly, it says tehnical problems.

So far its only the combination with this machine and firefox that gives this result. I haven't tried with another machine yet.

I have used firefox very long time without any problems.

I can make one of five possible usernames appear in the earthlink.net login field. I can not get the default login username to be blank when I go to earthlink.net. How do I do this?

FYI, If the username field is blank, firefox will display a drop down list of all five logins and selecting one will fill in both the username and password field. I think this is pretty slick if only I could get the usename field to default to blank when I first go to the earthlink website.

I have my bookmarks synced from two accounts on chrome. It worked fine, but now it stopped. My bookmarks toolbar is empty, except for an icon to fullscreen. It acts as if I have all of my bookmarks on there, and I can access them in the menu function. They're just not on the toolbar.

I've already hid/shown the toolbar multiple times, I've rescynced my browser data, I've fiddled with my toolbar settings, but honestly, I'm at a loss. I'm not the best with computers so if there's an obvious answer please let me know. Thank you!

After updating to the new version of Pocket on my Windows 10 pc, I found that all my previous saves have disappeared- even after switching to Mozilla Firefox browser. How do I get them back? This is a disaster.

For several weeks now, whenever I close Firefox and shut down my iMac and open Gmail the next day, Gmail seems to forget which emails I have already read, and it marks many old emails as unread. Deleting the Google cache and cookies helps, but only temporarily. This problem doesn't seem to occur when using a different browser, such as Safari, or when using the built-in MacOS email client. Therefore, I'm thinking it's a buggy interaction between Firefox and Gmail. I didn't used to have this problem, so perhaps it's related to a Firefox update? Anyhow, I'm hoping someone can help. I feel this can only be corrected by an adjustment to the version, am on 122.0.1 as the latest update. My O/S Linux Mint Mate v20.0.3. Have NOT been to any schooling or even just a class for any training, all done as my curiosity has driven me to learn on my own, Self-taught and have been working with CPU`s for over 35 years, I am 84...

Getting to this point has been a rather long drawn-out process that has been a bit confusing hope this info is acceptable.
