Greetings. Lately, I am unable to log-in to some websites. This has started recently, about a few short weeks ago. The Social Security Administration and Electronic Design (magazine) are just a couple of example. I don't get much information from either of the sites. Electronic Design just replies with unable to log-in The SSA site replies with:

"Bad Request Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit."

I cleared the cache, and reinstalled the latest version, Firefox 120.0.1, 64 I am on Windows 10 Pro 64, latest update AMD Ryzen 7 8-core 16GB RAM 1TB Samsung m.2 2280 system disk

Note: I have no issue logging in to the SSA website using MS Edge, but I'd rather use Firefox, which has been my default browser since Adam & Eve hit the earth! Your assistance would be appreciated. Thank you. Sam H. Electrical Engineer (248)677-1039

I have recently had to reload my laptop. Before I did so I synced all my passwords, bookmarks, history etc. When I have reloaded Firefox onto my device all my data is missing. Please can you help as I need all my passwords and bookmarks for work.

Firefox crashes when I click on a box in MS Excel (and possibly other MS programs) then move to the browser to paste or not paste. This has been a problem for months now and I've reported this months ago (Oct. 3rd). Does anyone have a fix to this? I've refreshed it and it has been updated (and windows is always up to date too).

Shortcut icons (4 rows of them) have disappeared from my Firefox home tab. After a Firefox update, they were gone. Just white boxes. I tried to re-enter shortcut information, but the box always goes back to white and empty. I tried a System Restore. That didn't work either. I depend on these shortcuts for my work and bill paying. Please, someone help me! Thanks!

When I open a link in a new window (2 windows are open) and attempt to use reader view, reader view states "cannot complete function".

Good evening, I have an issue related to ETP. Reading through several articles I couldn't find an answer to the following thing: How do you treat cookies set by Hubspot or GA4? They are a First Party cookie, but they don't always have samesite-parameter filled out.

I know that the lifespan is limited for first-party cookies. But I don't get whether samesite=none/empty makes a difference? Because data will be sent to a third-party server.

I'd be glad about clarification and your help. If you have articles covering this issue, that would also be great. Thank you for your support.

Did an update just kill the Keeper Security extension? I cannot login. Also cannot connect to Goose VPN website, wich is very strange since it is a security company.

shoould i uninstall and reinstall mozilla firefox? as far as i know im using all the default settings. when i search the net it returns a page that im sure the site doesnt intend its text and other features to be so HUGE. I ALWAYS have to scroll down to get to a button.

I have a question because I am not sure about things how works when someone changes a device. 3 days ago I changed my Mac device to a new one and however I logged in with my profile my Mozilla Firefox looks completely different and I would like to know which version I used let's say a week ago and what is the version now, is there a way to figure out this? Hello, every once in a while Firefox on my Win 10 PC resets bookmarks, logins and saved tabs to ones that I used several weeks/months ago. I also remember that it once switched back to a newer instance a few days after switching to and older one. When I try to open the app, it also creates a new icon on my taskbar. This has happened around 4-5 times in the last year. Does any one have an idea what the problem might be? Thanks in advance!

Is there a Firefox setting that automatically clears cookies? When I turned my computer on, it had been cleared of cookies since the last time I had it on a few hours ago, but I didn't do it. No one else here to use the computer but me. I don't want cookies cleared automatically. How do I change it back to manual? I use Firefox Browser 120.0

Just opened up Fireox and everything has gone - all bookmarks and folders, toolbar with shortcuts, all of it. I am not a technical person. What do i do to get it all back? Thank you Harry

Greetings, I am a 77 year old geezer and I have been using Firefox for probably 25 or 30 years. PROBLEMS: 1) bulk emails sent to my customers are rejected by mostly gmail accounts. 2) Emails sent to me of airline group bookings arrive as pages of code that I cannot read. THESE TWO ISSUES ARE NEW PROBLEMS I HAVE NEVER SEEN BEFORE -- STARTED ABOUT 3 MONTHS AGO 3) How do I move/transfer all of my address books/database to a gmail account?

I installed Firefox on a new laptop and synced it. The bookmarks all were transfered. But when I log into some websites they do not recognize the password, even when the passwords are correct and still work on my previous computer/Firefox brow’ for ‘Firefox.

I tried clearing caches under Privacy & Security, but the problem persists.

(Meanwhile, I can visit www.dictionary.com on Safari and Google Chrome.)
