I would like to browse the archive of articles that appear with a fresh set every day on the Firefox home screen. Is the archive available? If not, can Firefox make it available for all the users? I am sure that I am not the only one interested in browsing the archive of articles and reading those that interest them.

Firefox version 145.0 in Linux Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS. When I open Firefox all tabs from previous session are gone. On "Startup" I have checked "Open previous windows and tabs". Which worked before but not now. It is very frustrating. How do I fix? The Profile Manager opens the settings and "Open previous windows and tabs" is checked. Checking "ask before closing multiple tabs" doesn't help.

I've installed FF on new computers a few times in the past year and I've noticed that it never syncs the Search settings (things like default search engine, adding StartPage, etc.). Is that by design? Is there a way to make them sync?

The last time Firefox updated my Etsy Dashboard would no longer connect. None of the screens I need for my shop would work. Etsy support had me clear my cache and I even did a refresh of Firefox but it still would not work. Etsy's conclusion was it had to be a Firefox issue and they could not help. I had to switch to Chrome to continue working. At some point the issue went away and Etsy's dashboard was working again. Now, after the most recent update it immediately was no longer working again and I am forced to use a different browser. What could be causing this issue related to the updates?

Also McAffee notification with all these popups stating that my McAffee protection expired yesterday - I have never had a McAffee notification for a virus or pair for protection from them. Popups are happening every 10 seconds continuously! looks like about 20 or more popups describing different problems with 20 digit numbers and letters as a serial number of the problem!

In the previous version of Firefox, my Bookmarks folder was fixed in to the Sidebar so that when Firefox opened the Bookmarks were visible; how do I fix the problem?

Recently upgraded to version 146.0 on Linux (Mint, Cinnamon)

YouTube will work fine when I first start the browser. Eventually videos will stop displaying and sidebar links will not be active.

From a separate forum article I cleared all site data and restarted Firefox. That fixes the problem for about 4 or 5 videos, then you need to rinse/repeat.

The latest incident seems to have been triggered when I tried to watch a video embedded in an X (Twitter) post. That failed. And the YT failed as a whole. X was open in a separate tab container at the time.

While I have both Privacy Badger and uBlock Origin installed, both are deactivated for YouTube.

See the attached images. The video is just not displaying, though the screen is reserving space for the player.

Both/all videos I have tested do work in Chromium.

Hi, I have had many successful years using Firefox until 4 days ago. I uninstalled Firefox in order to remedy a recurring missing bookmarks issue.

• I used the 'full' version to re-install - install proceeded to around 50% then crashed my system.
• I uninstalled the remnants and tried to install using the 'stub' installer, it crashed immediately
• I uninstalled all anti-virus software, this time the full installer ran all the way through but when I clicked on Launch Firefox, my system crashed again.
• After each crash, the system restarted and remains stable, nothing else appears to be affected.
• Basic diagnostics, returns no violations
• Each crash returns - stop code: Critical_process_died (0xEF)
• my Win 11 version 24H2 osb 26100.7462, FireFox version 146

any ideas ?

So I read on the website bato.to manhwas and at frist it was everything fine but then most of the page doesn't load I don't know why it's just half of the manhwa

Not performing as it should. I have Windows 11 on PC. Open in a new tab should always show above open a new window. When I click on a link that is above the halfway point on the page I never see or have the option to open in a new tab. Open in a new window always is at the top.

If I am on a new page and the link is above the halfway point on the page I can't scroll the page down to have the link below the halfway point. If I am am on a page that I can scroll the link below the halfway point, Open in a new tab will show above open in a new window.

How can I get a new page with a link above the halfway point to have open in a new tab show? I have Firefox 146.0 (64-bit). It is up to date.

I had so many instances of firefox and tabs that i decided i must organize them on tabgroups, i read they were secure enough and would be restored along with open tabs on new session. But after restarting all my "close and save" tab groups are missing! are they still saved? how can i recover them?

My Bookmarks Sidebar is now displaying with white lettering on a very light gray background, making it almost impossible to read. How can I change either the font color in the sidebar, or the background color?

Solved, there is delay of 15 minutes before password appear on other device.

I've labelled this thread as (dec 2025) as there is a lot of issues dating back to years ago so this is mark it down just as a fresh review of the issue.

The only thing I'm looking from a browser is to sync Passwords between Phone and Desktop and for whatever reason Firefox is not doing it. Absolutley nothing gets synced even though both windows 10 and Android browsers have been sync manually with all of the options to be synced.

I've followed all the others people checks of settings, account login etc. and I'm just giving up for now.

Hi, I updated to Firefox 146.0 this past week and immediately noticed that the UI elements (scrollbars, sidebar, tooltips, etc) are once again in dark mode; the main websites window and the firefox settings remain in light mode (as set by my user preferences). I've been using browser.theme.toolbar-theme and browser.theme.content-theme to force light mode of all UI elements regardless of theme and as of this last update they have stopped working (editing them to any value of 0,1,2 does not make a noticeably change to the UI). What internal setting changed to stop firefox from using the browser.theme.(etc) settings and what can I edit to get them back? Thanks, Bre
