After having to refresh Firefox, all extensions are missing from my toolbar. They're still installed and function but some require tweaking options on a per page basis and it's a hassle to have to work through multiple menus when they should just be a click away. From other answers, it seems like the extenstions should be in the customise toolbar page but only the standard options are there. I've tried disabling and enabling them, as well as removing and adding them again already with no results.

How do I either get them back to the toolbar or the customise page so I can add them myself?

I would like to report on a problem I found today.

First of all, the symptom is "Unable to log in at Evernote.com".

To be precise, if you try to log in using a normal ID/PW on Evernote.com, it will respond as if the PW is incorrect.

However, since I checked the ID/PW several times, I determined that there was no problem, and as a result of trying the following combinations, I determined that it was a problem with Firefox for Desktop.

(1) Desktop , Using Firefox -> Can't Login. (2) Desktop , Using Microsoft Edge -> OK (3) Desktop , Using Google Chrome -> OK (4) Android , Using Firefox for Mobile -> OK (4-1) Android , Using Firefox For Mobile (Desktop Mode) -> OK (5) Android , Using Google Chrome -> OK

In the same experiment as above, each version is as follows.

Desktop Firefox: 109.0.1 Mobile Firefox: 109.1.1

My guess is that Firefox's anti-tracking privacy part has a problem with the evernote.com site at some point.

Turning off Privacy Tracking Prevention does not solve the problem. If there are other users reading this article and have an Evernote.com account, please try logging in.

For now, I'm using a different browser, but I hope it works out normally.

I don't know why but sync button is not appearing in my Firefox settings (image attached). I guess it's because something I've done in settings that has cause this to disappear. Can you help me? Thanks!!

I've been making my own Firefox theme using the Firefox Color extension. I uploaded an image but I can't figure out how to show the image on the new tab screen. Setting the new tab page color to transparent only makes everything white. I know the image is uploaded correctly because I can see some of it in the toolbar and tab list. Is it possible to show the image on the new tab page?

When changing the primary password I would expect the logins.json file being rewritten with new pairs of encryptedUsername and encryptedPassword (now encrypted based on a new primary password). But this is obviously not the case. But maybe I just didn't understand the way this works?

Ever since Firefox updated today I've been unable to use the browser. It takes at least 5 minutes or more minutes to load, I can't manually log into any websites until the speeddial finally loads, and the speeddial addon refuses to come up for at least 5 minutes, I can't log into Dropbox even with the speeddial up and running because the capcha won't popup...and on and on.

What in the world has been done to it? I'm using another browser just to contact support.

So I'm trying to make a theme with an APNG of an ECG reading, but the bottom is totally cut off. I've tried aligning it differently, customizing the toolbar, and getting a smaller APNG with no dice. Is there a way I can extend it into the rest of the toolbar like so many other themes seem to do just fine?

Okay, I give up. So, Facebook is or has implemented this Turn on two-factor authentication or whatever it is. What this means for me at the moment is that I am unable to access my Facebook account as it is now forcing me to use this Two-factor authentication thingie, despite that I do not have a mobile phone. (yes, I know it's unusual in this day of age not to have one. I did have one at one time, but for the moment I have no interest in getting another one). I would rather use my laptop anyway.

Doesn't Firefox have a Two-factor Authentication thing that I can use with Facebook? Without a mobile phone using the Firefox browser on a computer or laptop?

Now, from what I can see, Facebook is offering 3 ways of doing this. #1) Authentication app, like Google Authenticator or Duo Mobile. #2) Text message (SMS). #3) Security Key. So, because I do not use or have a mobile phone, I was guessing that my option would only be #1 Authentication app, like Google Authenticator ... which I have never used before, and while reading up on it, I keep reading that I can only use it with the Google Chrome browser?!? If that wasn't bad enough, I typically use Microsoft Outlook, not Gmail. So, I am at a loss at this point.

Again, I do not have a mobile phone. Doesn't Firefox have a Two-factor Authentication thing that I can use with Facebook? Without a mobile phone using the Firefox browser on a computer or laptop?

None of this works.

1. There is no key: "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\HTTP\shell\open\command" in the registry.

2. Went through the registry and changed the values of the following keys: .htm, .html, .ttt, .htw, .htx and hxx and every entry to their reference to: "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" then rebooted.

3. After each registry edit and reboot windows10 took a long time to come up with lots of disk activity. This tell me the windows changes all this back!

4. So, how do you fix this??????

Every time I start the computer or reboot and open firefox I discover that it isn't the default browser, as reported in the firefox settings menu. I then go to Defaults apps in control pannel settings and set Firefox as the default which sets the default to satisfy the setting menu which then reports that firefox is now the default browser. The next time I turn on the machine or reboot and check the settings menu I discover that firefox is not the default web browser. How do I set firefox as the default browser permanently so that I won't have to do this each time I start the computer? Thank You.

Avant, j'étais le seul impacté par ce problème et maintenant les trois P.C de la maison le sont. Deux W11 et un W10. En déconnectant le VPN le souci n'existe plus. Merci d'avance pour votre aide.

Hello! When I turn on firefox in my laptop it always opens in small window, so it is very annoying and it happens every time. I know that, when I reset firefox to fabric settings, problem will go away, but for a couple days only and again it will be. So do you have any idea, how to solve this problem once and for all? WHERE IS MY BOOKMARKS TOOLBAR??? Every time I update Firefox (now 109), I end up with all kinds of problems! NOW, I can't see my bookmark toolbar. All the help articles tells me how to show it or how to bookmark a page, which I already did multiple times. But this issue is never solved. If I can't get this resolved, I'm going to MS Edge.

When I open Firefox it's just a black page and anything I click on isn't responsive. I can't go into options or anything. Sometimes Firefox doesn't even load. It worked fine earlier than all of a sudden It stopped working today. Web pages don't load. Nothing works

bold textAfter downloading latest version of Firefox, lost all bookmarks. Followed instructions on restoring, window showed all restored, but all are still missing.

I have never used a primary/master password. I updated to 109.0.1 on a computer that had not been used for a few weeks. I do NOT sync FF on any computer. "Use Primary Password" is NOW checked on this 2nd computer. (never used or needed before) In order to try to change this, I was required to enter my password. When I enter the password I use to access mozilla support (the only FF password I have ever had), nothing happens and I do not get any options, i.e., forgot password. I have never been requested to enter a password on any computer (to access FF; only to reach mozilla support.) On my primary computer, "Use Primary Password" is not checked, as it should not be. Thanks in advance.

I cleared cache, junk, and history from my computer, and now I have no bookmarks on Firefox, and when I bring up the restore option it give me several options but not bookmarks. Can someone please help me to restore them. Thanks

In the address bar red cross padlock sign,when i get adult vaction forum up try to sign in, this connection is not secure logins entered here could be compromised.
