Hi,

I have Firefox 102 ESR in Debian 11 (LXC in Chrome OS). It is the en_US version with Czech spell checking dictionary installed as an add-on. I can switch the spell checker from English to Czech in ordinary text areas by accessing the context menu via a right mouse click.

However, I'm using a proprietary e-commerce system (Shoptet) with a WYSIWIG editor that has its own context menu, overriding the default one in the browser. I can't switch the language for that reason. Is there a way to switch the spell checker language for a particular text area without access to the context menu? Thank you very much.

I tried everything in the message I received but there was no (obvious) way to reply. I will attach a screenshot of what is occurring. Search Baron is hijacking my web searches. If I specifically click on use google in the search bar then it works. If I just type a search phrase, search baron takes over (see the URL in the attached screenshot, that is what appears no matter what I search). I can open a web page fine.

I am not too good with the computer and have just starting using Firefox. I will do my best to describe my question so please bar with me. I have 2 rows of websites that I frequent...actually only using the first row and 5 spaces in the second row. When I go to a different website Firefox is automatically adding that website to one of the boxes in the second row which I do not want. How do I stop this? Question 2...using Ebay as an example...if I keep searching on Ebay and have looked at lets say 5 different pages how do I go back to the home screen without having to hit the back button 6 times? I use/like the randomly-generated 'strong' password feature, but is there a setting/option to have it include one or more special character(s)? So many sites nowadays require one, and VERY few *prohibit* them. I know I can 'substitute' one in there, but I'm VERY lazy! Thanks.

Devido ao fato do Chrome não manter minhas credenciais e toda vez que eu iniciava este browser eu tinha que fornecer meu login e senha além do fato do Suporte deles não ter resolvido o problema, eu decidi mudar para o Firefox apesar de não ser o mais legal nem prático e intuitivo para se navegar como o Opera e o Vivaldi, mas sim por popularidade.

-O problema: Desde ontem, a página do Gmail não abre, isto é, mostra uma página totalmente em branco conforme anexo, apesar do link estar correto e, na verdade, eu utilizar os links dos Favoritos para diminuir a digitação e aumentar a agilidade.

-Minhas tentativas de solução: Eu desabilitei todas as extensões do Firefox (eu eu já utilizava mesmo antes do problema ocorrer); Eu executei uma limpeza geral utilizando o CCleaner; Eu abri o Chrome e, para variar, me loguei (por causa do problema mencionado acima) e a página do Gmail é exibida corretamente com todos os e-mails de hoje; Eu copiei este link do Gmail, no Chrome, para utilizar no Firefox porque estavam diferentes mas mesmo assim o problema persiste.

Acabaram as ideias

Due to Chrome not keeping my credentials and every time I started this browser I had to provide my login and password in addition to the fact that their Support didn't solve the problem, I decided to switch to Firefox despite not being the coolest not practical and intuitive to navigate like Opera and Vivaldi, but by popularity.

-The problem: Since yesterday, the Gmail page does not open, that is, it shows a completely blank page as attached, although the link is correct and, in fact, I use the Favorites links to reduce typing and increase agility.

-My solution attempts: I disabled all Firefox extensions (I was using them even before the problem occurred for the first time); I performed a general cleanup using CCleaner; I opened Chrome and for a change I logged in (because of the problem mentioned above) and the Gmail page displays correctly with all of today's emails; I copied this link from Gmail, in Chrome, to use in Firefox because they were different but the problem still persists.

I have a web application which runs perfectly on firefox versions below 103. Meanwhile, I had to change my laptop and I installed latest firefox version on my new laptop. I have a login page in my web application which isn't working in the latest firefox version. But, the application works perfectly even now in the older versions below 103. What might be the reason?

Hello - there are add-ons for Amazon, Google, Facebook, EBay and Twitter - none of which I added - showing up on the Firefox browser as running during browser start. I can see them when I use CC Cleaner. They are browser plugins set to run upon start up. I can disable them but need to do it every time, as there is no way to delete them that I can see. I would like to find out why these plugins are there and how I can delete them.

Hi, I'm back to an older computer where I already had Firefox installed. I have it installed and synchronized on 3 other computers and it works perfectly there. My main issue is that in the settings, Firefox is supposed to open with all the tabs I had opened when I closed it. It doesn't... It sends me to the home page. Second issue, also unique: I'm using Duck and go as search engine, and I have the same issue: it doesn's save my preferences (when it does on the same computer with Brave browser) Should I uninstall it all and try again? I already applied all the solutions suggested in th online help pages...

We hebben de verbinding geblokkeerd om uw gegevens veilig te houden, vermits het gebruikte certificaat voor een ander webadres werd uitgegeven. Toevoegen aan uitsluitingen

I have never seen something like this before and I would like to know what it means and if I should exclude this, etc. So that's why I send you a mail to check it. Like to hear from you and many thanks in advance. Greetz Karin

I have tried every troubleshooting from the other answers available on the support website but whenever I am trying to login, it shows a black screen and I also unregistered Twitter from about:serviceworkers but still nothing, I also cannot upload the screenshot here it just says uploading and nothing else. Images are not uploading even from other devices.

Update: this issue was because of a filter from uBlock's list. Fixed now. I am not sure how to close my question.

Firefox is set as my default email app in W10 - pls see uploaded image. I have tried to change it by using the options at the bottom of that default app screen. I use Sky Yahoo mail but I cannot change from Firefox. I want to set Sky Yahoo as my default email for W10.

Any help for this old novice much appreciated.

How can I translate my website https://rhizmall.pk/ in Mozilla with different languages, like other browsers shown by right click on tools bar or on web page to translate in different languages?

I cannot seem to reach https://community.esri.com/ via Firefox but can reach it fine with Chrome and Edge.

Firefox says "The page isn’t redirecting properly. An error occurred during a connection to community.esri.com. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies."

So I even added the page to list of Exceptions, but still cannot reach site.

Lately, when I try to create a desktop shortcut from the Github website, it instead create a folder, with the correct title of the page, and what looks like a link inside, with an abbreviated website name, but is not a shortcut at all.

Example: Try dragging the address bar padlock from this page to your desktop

Same thing happens when I try to drag its bookmark to the desktop.

Creating the shortcut from Chrome works properly, so I assume this is a Firefox problem.
