I am wondering if I am the only one experiencing problems with Firefox with using some websites. I have no choice but to use Safari, which works without any issues when I am encountering these problems with Firefox on a Mac.

My privacy preferences are set to Standard.

Sample websites with issues with Firefox: - substack.com; I could not create an account - paulaschoice.com - I wanted to purchase some items that were in my cart. After I entered all needed info to pay, the button for CHECKOUT just didn't do anything.

Safari had no problems doing the above.

Am I doing something incorrectly?

Hi, all of my bookmarks, years' worth that I have never had an issue with before, have suddenly disappeared. Backups do not seem to be available. How do I get them back? I did not do anything out of the ordinary and I don't know if (an unasked for) update occurred and wiped them.

Yesterday I went to use my Arkscan Label printer as I always have for years and it distorts the image very largely as appose to fitting 4 x 6 as it always has. I re downloaded the driver, checked my setting from my label shipping site (etsy) and all is the same. My co-workers is still working, (she does not do automatic updates). After reaching out to technical support from Arkscan it is a widespread problem after your latest update to firefox. I was suggested to use a different browser such as Chrome or Edge. Will you be addressing this issue ASAP or should I use another browser from here on out?

Something changed a couple months ago where Firefox's spell check began only catching about half of my typos. Over the last 15 years I have become used to my browser providing spell checking services, looking for the little red lines to point out my mistakes, so now that this feature has stopped working reliably I am constantly submitting items with embarrassing typos, having to go back and edit almost every single post I make after the fact. Is there any way to get this working properly again? Thanks.

I noticed recently that the "+" for new tab is no longer displayed and available. I have to go to File/New tab to open a new tab.

Does this happen only for me or it is a change that was made? What should I do to have it back as it used to be and it is displayed here:

Hello. The Owl Zoom add on for Firefox OSX has stopped working. No changes made to any options or add ons. Date noticed about mid- December 2023. Reverting Firefox to its state from before the issue occurred did not resolve the issue. This process does not work: "Click on 'Settings' and the pop up menu has an item for 'Zoom'. Click on 'Normal 100%' and a pop up list for several zoom values should appear but it does not appear. In addition there is no Owl Zoom icon in the video task bar. This has happened on two iMacs and one Macbook Pro at the same time so not device specific.

Today, with the newest but 1 version of Firefox, and an Mac running newest Sonoma,

every time I click on a line indicating it;s a link to another web page, I get 404.

Alway, it keeps telling me that Firefox could not update automatically/

Can anyone tell me how to stop the cancellation of links to another url?

After updating FF to 115.1.0esr (MAC) I cannot get the Walmart website to work. The home page comes up but it immediately goes to the account log in page [ sign in or create your account ] ( https://www.walmart.com/account/login?vid=oaoh&tid=0&returnUrl=%2F ). I have deleted all FF cookies etc.

It has been doing this for several days, since the update.

For years I have used Firefox and every update has been seemless. This one is terrible!!

Every time I click to open a new tab, it opens a new page Every time I try to change tabs from previous to the update, it will not change. I am stuck on that tab Every time a new page is created I cannot open it because it has a "block pop up windows" and this is a setting that I did not change. I have had to turn off all blocking just to be able to change my password, to be able to typoe here.

You have basically stopped my studies until this can be rectified and I doubt anyone will repond to this message

Hi. When I am on Outlook email account, it stopped doing spell and grammer check, which usually indicates with red wave underline idit's incorrect. It was working before. I conatcted Outlook already. After testing, it works with Safari browser on computer, and Android on my mob. Only when I use Firefox, which I have been using for years. I checked Firefox settings, and it's ticked on automatic correction. I did a few times untick and tick again, turned off and on computer. But still no luck. Why??? Please help.

Asked earlier about deleting and doing a reinstall. Would that mean losing bookmarks, profile etc.? I have backed those up and would like to know if anything else might be required.

YoutubeTV is suddenly not working on Firefox, fine elsewhere ... they suggest doing complete reinstall.

I can't figure out how to delete this extension: Adobe Acrobat. It's disabled, but I want to delete it.

I'm really happy with this, except for the fact that it is visible all the time, so also in full screen.

Q: can I put a command in front so this hides in full screen? Been looking, trying for ages now.

Dear community, I have used firefox for years now and I had it synced with my email adressed. Today I wanted to login with a second profile (from my work) (I did this via about:profiles, adding a new profile) and when I logged back into my private email I had to change the password since I forgot. Suddenly ALL my user data was deleted, my passwords, my bookmarks, my history. It even shows in my profile that I just opend the account with that email adress now, today, even though I had my account for years. ALL my data is lost. PLEASE help! I am desperate. Thank you sooo much <3

I've been noticing a consistent issue specifically with Firefox causing my mac to black screen/shutdown involuntarily.

It happens specifically when I use the zoom-in function on firefox web pages (the pinch zoom).

Other times when it doesn't black screen, firefox would sometimes have this pixelated appearance (basically random squares interspersed around a web page at times) after I try zooming in.

Anything I could do to help prevent this problem?

I had 3 windows open on my laptop, suddenly I only have 1. Where did the other two go??? The tabs aren't even showing up in my history. This is not the first time this has happened. I am beyond frustrated! Where do they go? How can I get them back? What can I do to stop this from happening????

I've lost all my open tabs....and I can see them in history, but when I open any historical item,...it loads it over the top of the only open tab I now have...as a result I only have one tab. Its a mess what have you done?
